🌱 Week 1 Update: Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco Journey 🌱 Hey Grow Fam! The Mentha de Croco sprouts are officially a week in, and they’re already showing off their unique personality, each one growing at its own pace. They’re rocking some funky vibes and loving life inside the dome! Here’s a full update on their progress, care, and setup for Week 1. Living Environment: The Humidity Dome Setup The seedlings are living in a humidity dome, where we’re keeping the relative humidity (RH) close to 100%. This level of RH mimics a tropical environment, creating the ideal conditions for delicate young plants that need extra hydration support as they begin to develop roots and leaves. Why High Humidity? • Encourages Strong Root Development: At nearly 100% RH, plants focus on root growth while pulling in moisture directly from the air, helping them establish themselves early on. • Protects from Stress: The high humidity reduces transpiration (water loss through leaves), which prevents drying and keeps seedlings hydrated. • Promotes Healthy Leaf Growth: With constant access to moisture, the leaves expand smoothly, giving each plant a strong start in the vegetative phase. Growth Status & Observations 🌱 These little mutants are showing some funky characteristics and growing at their own unique pace—a perfect reminder that no two plants are the same! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. Even under the dome, this helps build resilience. • Aptus Startbooster: Supplies essential microbes and root stimulators, setting up these little ones for explosive root growth once they’re ready to venture outside the dome. Lighting: FOG LED & Environmental Control 💡 I’ve kept the Future of Grow (FOG) 600W LED dimmed to around 200 PPFD to avoid overwhelming these tender seedlings with too much light. They’re getting just enough energy to support healthy photosynthesis without stressing them in their early stages. Lighting Benefits at Low Intensity: • Prevents Stretching: With the lower PPFD, plants stay compact and focused on root and leaf development rather than reaching for the light. • Supports Early Photosynthesis: The FOG LED’s balanced spectrum provides all the wavelengths these seedlings need to kick off photosynthesis and grow with vitality. Controlled through the TrolMaster Tent X, the lighting schedule is consistent and stable. With this controller, I can manage humidity, lighting, and temperature settings all from one place, ensuring the environment stays perfect for these little ones. Here’s a bit of wisdom for anyone embarking on a similar grow: 💧 Humidity & Hydration: High humidity is a seedling’s best friend. Keep your dome or grow area humid for strong, happy plants. 💡 Light Management: Keep lighting low to encourage compact growth and let those roots dig in. First week of flowering and its going great! The plants are still nice and green from the biogrow we gave some weeks ago, next steps is to give some guanokalong bloom nutrients and a small shot of green sensation from plagron!

Flower coming along nicely, definitely looking at longer than the advertised 56-63 days but I'm hopeful of a strong harvest looking at them so far. Keeping it all crossed for that to continue!

Starting a new episode of the experiment, 16 flowers 4x4 models. Half organic using florian organic fertilizers. And the other half classically anorganic using canna nutrients.

day 11 from germination 5 litres to the pots with different ph between 6.2-6.5 with 0.5 MLG bio grow for litr. day 12 from germination its my bad day I noticed that my plants are very stretched and Fragile; compared to their peers that I saw on the site, are very behind. I think the reason is that I got a 110 watt Amazon lamp, put it 100 cm away and gave them a lot of fertilizer and water. To solve this problem, I ordered a spider sf 1000 and i gathered the soil of pots from the side and poured it around the stem (And I brought the air to 20 c°, which I do not know is correct or not). Current situation: Plants are giving new leaves and I see a tendency to grow in them. My question is, are my plants very backward for 12 day after germination? Do you think that if plants are not going to grow enough and their start flowering quickly when their are still small plants, it is not better to throw these away and plant new seeds? Does it cause the amount of yield to decrease?Or I still have a chance to fix it? There is a way to increase their growth period? After I buried the stems and changed their height from 14cm to 8cm, can the stems have new roots? And that now a few cm empty flowerpots do the roots have enough space to grow according to the photos? Okkkkkkkay, i fucked up a little over the past weeks but sometimes keeping everything together is hard. But I managed to fix her, fresh water change, new nutrients and new Training so she can spread a little wider and also gave her a little trim. So pH is 5.5-5.8 DLI is at 30. i wanted to turn it down a little because she was looking really sad. but she is finally recovering, new growth is a nice green color. Having her this long in veg is really weird haha

08/07/2020 Flowering week 2 for the bigger plant, all are cuttings of Red Sky I'm growing outside but this one is stinking some crazy smells not sure how to describe burnt rubber? And pine tar? Best I can say. Application of L A B this week to feed the microbial communities. Application to leaf surfaces to combat pw (prevent) bud rot.

Switched to flowering. She grew 10cm in 3 days... absolutely crazy. I took the tough decision to discontinue the TimeLapse. My tent is not big enough to have the camera in a place that kinda makes sense. So I'll be taking manual photos in the coming days and uploading those.

Tropicanna Ppison XL Auto- Outside W6F4 8/3-9 I wish I could share this week’s weather with you. It was sunny and comfortable in the 70-80s with 50% humidity. This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Tropicanna Poison is short under 3 feet and has a good node spacing so there is space for air flow. The buds forming don’t have many hairs yet but the trichomes forming on the sugar leaves are visible. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are tight throughout. This may be a concern for bud rot if the rain and humidity return. I’ll keep a close watch, but so far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. I chose this strain a year or two ago and had not had the opportunity to grow it yet. This strain is from SweetSeeds red line and 85% of the seeds produce reds and pinks.
