During the middle of this week I decided to stop the outward training of the branches & the allow vertical growth for beginning bud site formation . I don’t want to miss the beginning flower stretch kinda need it 😂. Decided to break the apical dominance of the main stem by LST’ing down . I noticed it was leagues ahead of the rest of the plant because it hung over the side of the pot so since I need to start slowing it’s vertical growth I figure now Is also time to get the rest of the canopy to catch up leaving me to space things accordingly later when/if necessary . Also decided to go ahead and do my 1st & last additional feeding since these girls where planted all I’ve had to do this grow was water when dry & train her to the best of my abilities. Finally getting copler nights but heat wave keeping temps high which is ok for getting most out of it. Did a last heavy feed. Then one last organic top Their structure and yield does suck. One is tk leaning. No clones survived. Not the best strain but smell and taste are boutique.

Week 9 flower : Sunset sherbet : about 8 1/2 weeks I finally harvested, once I actually cut it out the net I realised there was so much yellow unfinished bud as it was way to compact in the tent . So I chopped all the heads off and put it back in the tent gonna leave it a week or 2 more just to see if I can get it to mature a bit . This plant was a clone and from day 1 it was not healthy but was told it was a super strain . I managed to get it growing but was always slow and very thin stalks . But I can tell it’s going to be a special smoke , the buds are rock solid and frosty . I have had to make a little cardboard dry box as the tent is still in use . They will be dried for about a week then put in jars to cure . I will report back with a final weight and smoke . Blue cheese : I have 3 blue cheese plants 2 in 12litre pots and 1 in a 3l pot . There is 2 phenos one is very blue and smelling more blueberry and other 2 more green Cheese looking . The blue pheno was in a 12l pot I took it out the tent and left in dark for 48hrs this was done about 9 weeks of flower . Once I actually took this out the net I couldn’t believe how big the buds were , it smells so nice and buds look very blue and frosty . This will also be hanged in a box and dried for 7-10 days and then cured . Will report back with final weight and smoke report The greener more cheese looking pheno is in a 12l pot is by far the biggest the buds are massive , this is still not ready and looks like it needs another week or 2 . I will keep flushing it till then and do same process as above apart from I will dry this in the tent The smallest plant that’s in a 3l pot is still not ready maybe another 3-7 days but will probably just leave it till the other one above is ready . I shouldn’t have really put this one in the tent I should have left the extra space for the others but still looks nice and some big buds . Overall I am amazed with the mars hydro lights I have 2x 1000ts and they have done better then when I used hps but that was some years ago . No one can tell me mars are not good light , I have literally taken day by day photos and u can see the results .

Week 9

My pictures seem to have re organized themselves, just give me a few here and I'll get the full rundown . So this week ( day 21-23) was MAJOR defoliating. What my first step is to start taking the largest fan leaves . My next step is about halfway through the canopy I'll stop and then I'll start working on the very bottom of the plant now at this stage in the game anything that doesn't even have a nice Bud site so a nice white hair sticking bud at the very bottom like shoots I'll just cut them right off. This is the first steps of a main line but I don't complete the actual full main line I probably will try it sometime soon just not this time. So you take off anything that is a small shoot coming off the main stems and then your next step is . STOP. It might be a minute it might be 10 minutes, 20 min , it might be an hour or more ( my tip is don't wait a full day I try and do it within the first 12 hours of starting it) but I always stop just to look at what I've done sometimes if you get going too quickly you can end up doing way too much. Stand to talk to canopy and look what sites are getting hit by light what places are these families beneficial to use for photosynthesis. Anything that is not doing as much good will be taken off and at that point I'll probably do another you know 5-10 minutes of defoliation maybe take one or two more shoots at the bottom to ensure what's left there is a huge fat cola that's going to give you those huge buds . After this you're going to want to do your best to support those stems that are going to hold a lot more weight as if the plant would have been with all the shoots so you're going to want to just make sure that you have staking in place or some sort of support system to keep them from flopping over a breaking them in the future because that's one thing yeah it's great but then it'll get to a point where oh no stuff falling over and then it's just more hassle than it is helpful. All getting top heavy, had to tie alot of them up. Buds are nice and dense and have taken well to the nutrients in the past few weeks. 2week ripen and flush starting 7/2/21. Nice frosty buds on all of them and my favourite plant still standing out has to be the zkittles OG. On the other hand the do si dos smells like it packs a punch! Update 11/2/21- will be flushing for 5more days then leaving in darkness for 3days before chop.

The black cherry gushers has a really amazing smell I can’t put my finger on what it is but trust me. I also like the nodal spacing just a strong pretty plant for sure.

Up on at day 45 of flowering now, and the plants are still doing great. They bounced back super quick from their defol on F35, and are now just slowly fattening up and starting to stink out the tent. Added in some more nematodes and predatory mites (mighty mites) as a purely preventative measure. Starting to ease up on some of the compost teas now as they mature, but they’re still getting some over the next few weeks.

Plant keep growing great. As you can see at the leaves there are some of the tips of the leaves with bad color, thats because teh EC reached up to 1,8 so I added ph leveled plain water with 0,4 ec to lower the ec to 1,5 and the plant is responding really well, growing faster and with a healthy root system. The temperature was high also (near 30 degrees celsius) so i moved the lamp upper and i will setup an 100mm fan for extraction. The led panel is really really hot
