Tenth week of flowering started. I went out a week and at my return I discovered that the #2 is sick. The plant doesn't drink anymore and a lot of branches are falling down with limp leaves. I think that the missing defoliation, the height and the poor ventilation caused that. At the moment I removed her from the tent moving her out to the balcony. I did a huge defoliation to the #1 and a massive LST in order to low the height of buds that reached the lamp that is at its maximum height. So far I gave to the plant only water. I think that the cause of plant disease is the high humidity level (at least 90%...). Tomorrow I will buy a dehumidifier hoping that this will help the remaining plant. D63: changed the water into the pot. Added 15 ml grow, 30ml micro and 40ml bloom. [email protected] EC 1.2 D64: after the defoliation the plant seems to be healthy. The humidity into the tent is still high, tomorrow I will install the dehumidifier. D65: I've put a dehumidifier into the tent, I've added 3 liters of tap water to the pot; the plant is drinking a lot so I think that she is fine. The plants produces a lot of fat buds, so I've checked the trichomes for the first time, they are clear for the majority. D67: added 5 liters of tap water to the pot. The plant is drinking a lot

Huge signs of progress this week! The smell has come in strong as well as the nice fat crystal flowers starting to plump up, Definitely a tall growing strain but all signs are pointing towards the yield being of a good quality! Have ordered a USB loupe that will be arriving tomorrow as the current is too hard for photos!

Sweet Bourbon Kush auto is flowering nicely. She is about mid way through bulking I believe. She is working her way to a finish soon. Everything has been stable, and doing great. This week great did a top dress couple days ago so just watering at a ph of 6.5 for now ...till flush in about 2 3 weeks

Moved the tents outta here 😂 switched some ventilation up and added two more dumps, I need to get more fans down here lol these girls look great all day every day, can't wait to see how it goes! They are all loving life, smaller clones have even had an awesome rebound the last few days since they got topped so that's cool. This week went great, started out stripping and topping everywhere I could and ended with beautiful roots going up to three fallon pots, gave a nice full watering to all of the and will see how they drydown tomorrow, I'm gonna guess they won't want water until the day after, I want them to really reach out into their new pots.

Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

Have been adding microbe tea once or twice a week to keep the soil's microbeasties alive thriving. Growth has been picking up with the warmer weather but I've had to water a lot more to keep up. Added neem meal and kelp meal as a topdress.

Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. Once again, this week starts where the former one ended. With the exception of all the cables you can see in the first picture. I dared to install a minimalized version of the Raspi control only controlling the self-built humidifier and one blower/fan combination. I was very pleased to see how easily the simple diffusor can hold optimum VPD as long as temperatures are high and humidity tends to fall below optimum VPD. A single 10 seconds evaporation can hold the level for about 2–3 minutes. I am not pleased to see the Monsanto blowers rather underperform. It’s impossible to reduce humidity or temperature with both running on full speed, while a lifting of the tent door will bring immediate changes. With the Raspi/Arduino success so far*, I am thinking about using old Power Mac fans which are WCM controllable and use 12 V. At least one to increase air intake, and maybe even the blowers. * It wasn’t any problem at all to have the Arduino collect CO2 and soil moisture data, so after some more cable manufacturing (aka helpless soldering), I could extend the Raspi control. I’m still uncertain about the camera module (@trelorny impressed me with his time lapse videos). I don’t want to put the hardware into the tent with its not so electronics friendly climate, already risking some rare outages of the temp/hum sensor. But the camera module cannot be placed far away. So maybe I’ll use the 3A model I own as a spare part as a camera driver. Any maybe, if it works, invest in a better camera module. Mine is generation 1. Oh, and the ladies! Gave them slightly fertilised water yesterday, and even it or the better VPD yesterday or a combination of both make me believe bud growth is a bit more visible today. The smell in the morning when I open the tent to release accumulated humidity is outstanding. They were already thirsty on day 57 again, so pure RO + a bit of tap water until it spilled out of their pot’s bottoms. Many fan leaves turning autumnally now, and the smallest Sherbet suffered a bit from over-fertilisation as I wrote. But it this stage I don’t go for leaf beauty anymore. Just another learning: Don’t use differently sized pots anymore. Hard to feed them individually this way. VPD was mostly in best range yesterday, and I have the feeling it really supports their bud growth. I added an "Evening time" option to my Raspi control that allows the humidity to sink a selected time before lights shut down. That made it possible to have humidity in best range for most of the night time too. They were even dry again on day 58 morning. Another time just water. The blowers cannot cope with the flowers’ smell anymore, and so sometimes my flat cannot hide who shares it with me. Day 60 presents me with a problem: I’ll leave on Friday for a few days. Considering the microscope pictures are not from the tops buds: Would you say it’s safe to give them another week? Problem solved on day 61. Only clean water from now on, and next week will be their last. You won’t see any new pictures for some days now. Me too … Something I wanted to share with you before I leave: I just finished to update my grow box control with a new PWM fan hat that keeps the Raspi cool, while at the same an infrared sensor can now measure real leaf and additional ambient temperature. Setup is much cleaner and more robust now, but I wish my flux would not make the solder stick to the tip of the machine instead of making it flow and stick at the tiny tiny spots I have to hit …
