Another demanding week for these ladies but they have reached a milestone. Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! 05/07/2020 definitely another week, #9 flower I think she be done end of week 9. The trichomes are mostly clear, some milky no amber, but I only want 5-10% amber at most anyway as I want daytime meds. Leaves are fading fast will get some better pics soon, one more watering of 2, liters plain water and we are done see you in 7days for the (harvest?)hope and pray! Ps. I do this because breeder says 9-12 weeks but breeder didn't specify 9-12 TOTAL / Or weeks or flowering weeks so I harvested 47 grams wet, at 13 weeks TOTAL, the rest will Be at my peak harvest date which is approximately week 9-10 of flowering. So it's within reason I would say.👍 Pss. The 47 grams wet weight is now at 13.9 grams, (dry weight) after 10 days drying and into the glass jar for burping and curing process . Four days into week (9 of flowering) i brought out my 420 scope still lots of clear trichomes, maybe a 10-11week flowering? Probably my lights need upgrade. See you in 4 days

Que pasa familia, vamos con la quinta semana de floración de estas Papaya Zoap F1 de Sweetseeds. Vamos al lío, me quede con 3 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros. Y también superaron el shock por el trasplante se recuperaron 100%. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El fotoperiodo esta a 12/12 para floración. Las jodidas estiraron bastante, y es algo que no me gusta de todas las F1, que cultive hasta ahora. El olor que desprende es muy peculiar es muy dulce y empalagoso, a mi parecer, no pinta nada mal. This week I went back to measuring the ph and found out that the water I was using had a ph above 7.5 so I corrected the ph of the soil with a more acidic solution of ph 6 with algae mic.

they are in small space for veg my grow tent is full in 12/12 light schedule condition is not perfect but not that hard so i expecting not really good results and so far they grow well after second dose fo fertilizer they grow like crazy

LST'd the canopy out flat! She's about done stretching/stacking! I will start with Bloom nutes next watering, at 1 gallon dosage. (1tsp of floranova bloom in 1 gallon of de-chlorinated tap water, PH'd to 6)

The girls are looking better and better each day. They have finished whatever stretch they had begun, and are now stacking some very decent buds 😊 They are showing some phosphorus deficiencies, but at the same time are showing that they are getting some nutrient burn 🤔🧐 I’m used to making one solution to feed, and that seems very difficult to balance with some of these Auto’s, as I have had to adjust for these girls and not my others, anywho, the joys of Autoflower’s ❤️ Only a few weeks left, hopefully we’ll get through it as they are looking promising at this point.
