Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Moving to the TrolMaster Ecosystem – A Game Changer Big move this week—our Runtz girls officially transitioned into the TrolMaster Ecosystem, and let me tell you, they are absolutely loving it! I came back from vacay. Im harvesting the amensia haze next week!! i’m really excited! i wonder if the painkiller will make it tho. spider mites and thrips somehow got to the plant even though it was inside. and all the pests collectively decided to leave the amnesia alone? Also got new seeds! only paid for 3 lol

This is towards the end of last week. The BB crosses are doing excellent. They have all gone through some extreme temps with intense temp and RH fluctuations. I’ve concluded that the plants 1 week behind experienced too much heat on this one day when some things came up and I wasn’t around to get them out of the hot sun in time, and they were stunted by excessive heat over 90F. The others didn’t show much signs of stress at all. I’m not giving up on the little ones, but I am giving them a large amount of grace and understanding. They can just continue to grow and do their best. Maybe they will come back into full speed in a week or so. Maybe not. At least I will grow them out to learn what happens. From now on I will be extra careful with all stimuli my seedlings are receiving. Showing sone other plants of same age, some of which are photoperiods that began flowering about a month and a half early, with 15 hours of daylight! Why? My first guess is some form of extreme rodelization. I did notice on both A-Trains that they each had a node with two pollen sacks developing as well as the burst of female bracts. So I nicked off the pollen sacks right away, and I’ve been putting them under a light for the nights to hopefully reveg them. Either way, a fun anecdote for some new knowledge and experience! I’m sure they would bud out Fat! Seeing how much they did in 2-3 days! But maybe there’s other elements at play.

Welcome to my Milkyway F1 Auto Diary, sponsored by RQS. Summary Pheno 1 Topped & Pheno 2 Untopped Prepariing to flip days 43 (Pre Flower Days 1-5-Days 44-49) Both plants are like clockwork, they're flipping the exact same days, Have vegged the exact same amount of days. Although Pheno 1 is 4 days ahead, I've kept pics of pheno 2 up-to-date with pheno 1 "topped" days. These 2 were hit along with all plants that got fed Mystical Green, "is used to balance PH" i hardly ever need to use it. But instead of using my PH adjuster I used this to bring PH to 6. And within 24hrs it looked as though they'd be starved of mag for a wk that's how far ahead they looked. I flushed both plants, and thankfully they're back on track. I changed everything to Plagron. I took the badly damaged leafs off, as I had to know if the things were getting worse, plagron saved the day. I used Vita Race "Foliar spray" and silic rock to help strengthen the plants. They did take a little step back in their progress but, they're back on track now. Both are looking well. Will carry their war wounds thru their entire grow now, so that's pic appeal out the window, I'm just glad the issue is fixed. Pheno2 The untopped is going to have a lovely colas. She's really compact and her side nodes are developing nicely. Pheno 1, "topped" is also back to herself and has a nice even canopy that is developing nicely also. Heights Pheno 1 "Topped" is at 34.5cm Pheno 2 "untopped" is at 36cm Lights P/SF 1000 set at 100% 45 cm away. As Pre Flower is still a growth stage. PPM/PH Base feeds you need to use a good amount of ML/L. 4ml just pushed my ppm past 500 after Silic Rock, Power roots, pure zym pushed it to 220 and then base nute was used to reach current ppm, with everything the PH sits at 6.4. Although when they're out of pre flower Green Sensation will be given and then a lower dose of Base feed will be required. Terpinator is given in a solo feed, she adds a fair bit ppm wise, 410ppm and 6.1ph. Diet/Defoliation/Flushes At the start of the week. I was giving Terra Power Fire Yields and to even out the PH, I used Mystical Green, and also used it for artios touch for my other plants, and it hit everything hard with what looked like a serious mag issue, even the week old seedling showed symptoms. I flushed everything that was given Terra Power Enzymes and changed everything to Plagron, 3x the value of each pot was given, so the 11L pots got 30L of water. I don't know if was because my Substrate was to warm, but their enzynes had such a negative affect it nearly kilt my girls. Thankfully, a few of plagrons best came to the rescue, Power Roots has restimilated both plants are throwing out brand new roots, "pics above" also vita race was used as a foliar spray, 'meant to be once a week, but as they were so bad they got dosed twice' Silic Rock & Pure Zym were added to their Base nutrient Alga Bloom. Also, for Terp-taste I added Terpinator to their diet. Defoliation was done on day 43 and i had to take a few troubled leafs early into pre flower, as I needed to see was the problem getting worse. They were stalled a few days but have started growing again and are back on track.
