Another few weeks left in this lady so will continue too feed her until she starts too ripen , No problems at all too this point and she has had two weeks of more PK , I really do love these purple kush plants they look unreal So she has started too foxtail this week and coming along nicely , I've started too flush now on day one of week 9 I hope she will be done around week 10 This is the second time I have grown a blackberry kush strain and I really have too say for me I love these plants not only because of the colour but more so the trimming is very minimal as these plants are all thick dense buds , so after you have picked off the main large fan leaves there really isn't much more too it , I like too keep on the sugar leaves for drying and cure because I can put the whole thing into my magical butter machine too make oil and get all the goodness possible , Should be ready right on Dutch passions flower time ,

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So My Dad Sent me a custom Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Red Rhino: Red Rhino is an amazing strain coming from Israel and boasts a 60% Sativa and a 40% Indica. This strian comes from crossing double gum and master kush. Effects are an increased appetite, as well as giving you ephoric feelings throughout the whole day. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day 1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. Just another week of vegging and feeding, waiting to make sure the last remaining plant I have is female. I think the male parts would have shown already if it was male, but you never really know until flip time. 11/24 and week nine Will be feeding Monday as well as a foliar of weak cal-mag Defoliating as well Tuesday Maggie's bud are beginning to cone as Layla and so that is hopeful. 11/27 Do not see much bud building on Brandy. Not a deficiency issue that I can see just the effect of the stunting. Considering harvesting Brandy cutting my losses and freeing light space for the others which we hope will pay off. Get some sleep see how it looks in the morning. 11/27 PM Brandy and the Runtz will be harvested this week as they are just ready to go and I want some of both :) Recharge and bio-bloom for Layla and Maggie just some water and a bit of recharge for Brandy. Day 65 : This lady started to make amber some of the trichomes. So today i flushed this mature lady with around 50L+ . Runout before flush was 1300ppm. After flush the runout was 400ppm. I decided to stop there. The plan is the next watering to be with pure water and when she drinks it chop chop. I goal for 15%-20% of amber. Now lets say that we are between 5%-10%. She has big heavy nuggs, not long but fat enough. LST was perfect on this lady, almost all colas are in the same height and growth. Edit Day 69 : The nuggs are very thick, Stills i don't see the number of them that i want. So i watered with pure water and continue till is ready. Leaves started to getting yellowish, so flush was successful.

Been takin a fan leaf here and there, overall, gonna let her stretch and just monitor them. Gotta a little deficiency so will be hitting them with some recharge this week.
