***** Week 10 growth - February 6 to 12, 2021 - Week 1 Flower ***** Here we go.......on to flower now. Last week was transition week and bud sites are setting on the girls now. Lights flipped a week ago to 12/12.......typical flower. Stretch is starting this week now. Last week was marginal height growth. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 1 again this week. Next week will move up the ppm more and start on bud enhancers. More microbes and sweetener this week. Silica ppm also increasing now as not looking to bend branches much more now. Decided to throw Scottie Real some support and Recharge arrived this week so switching microbes for the rest of the run👍💪 Have a hole in the canopy that I am just going to need to live with. GSCHB and MM2 did not growth as expected. They are not reaching up as tall as the others and stretch is slow. Not looking like they will catch up in next couple of days☹️☹️☹️ Also thinking of increasing some fulvic acid for this girl and see if it helps her stretch....Gold Storm. Little more detail....... Feb 6/21 - Day 1 - been drying for 2 days now so water day with some supplements - 3L with CalMag @ 2ml, AN B52 @ 1.5ml (using up an old bottle to finish), Enzymes @ 1ml - 575ppm and 5.9pH - Need to start increasing silica. Using up some B52 which has some silica in it.......and other vitamins so its all good😀 Feb 7/21 - Day 2 - Leaves up today and praying nicely. - dry out day - stretch is going now and the girls are growing hard.....this girl is still working on setting buds Feb 8/21 - Day 3 - Feed day again, going to stay with week 1 flower nutrients, same as last week. - IPP Grow @ 1ml, Micro @ 2ml, Bloom @ 2ml, Black Storm @ 3ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, B+ @ 0.5ml, Red Sun @ 0.5gr, Carbs @ 1ml, Natures Candy @ 1ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml. - 4L.......yeah, took a little longer to mix up this feed😀 - 1350ppm and 5.9pH - no run off from the girls today......little light on the water, they should have had 5L each. - last feed with bud starter, Red Sun, next will be Bud Fusion for bud booster next week. Feb 9/21 - Day 4 - no run off yesterday so adding more water today......plain tap water.....no additives - 5L for each girl. 225ppm and 6.0pH - good run off today. Feb 10/21 - Day 5 - Nothing today......watered two days in a row - ready for more silica!! Branches need to firm up.......this girl has some very soft branches still!!! Feb 11/21 - Day 6 - Recharge arrived today!!!!!! Time for more microbes and sweetener😀💪 - purple stripes on main stems so adding more magnesium through Epsom salts - 4L mixture for the girls with Epsom Salts @ 0.5Tbsp, Silica @ 1.5ml, IPP Carbs @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1 tsp - 1,000ppm and 5.9pH - different microbes now and excited! Feb 12/21 - Day 7 - Nothing again today.......give them watering tomorrow morning. - Wondering if their leaves are a little dark........consider bring down ppm next week.......it was hard this week at 1300ppm........water is 250 on its own so around 1100ppm nutes added. - she is not stretching much but looking very happy......suspect she will have large colas......hopefully👊 Looking good ETS......the girls are doing very well overall. This girl is very happy and looking healthy, branching a little soft, stretch has been minimal so far but might take off more next week with silica being increased. Hello growmies! Welcome to week five of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! The girls are all at different early flowering stages, but they are only days apart from each other. I have a bit of a quandary now though, as I am no longer following the nutrient schedule as these plants are too fast for it. So I am unsure whether to start PK warrior or not yet. I have also realised I have probably underfed them in the last week or so, which to be honest isn't a big deal for me right now as they are already waaaaaaaaaaay bigger than expected. Let's talk about that a moment. This strain has an average height of 50-70cm. I wonder if those numbers were for soil grows? It seems for coco you will get even bigger plants. Case in point these six girls measured at 3pm 24/7 day 30 as follows: Plant 1: 111cm Plant 2: 99cm Plant 3: 90cm Plant 4: 89cm Plant 5: 85cm Plant 6: 84cm Plant 3 appears to have stopped stretching and is the most advanced into flower. Plant 4 is right behind it and has slowed down but not yet stopped stretching. Plant 2 is next in terms of flowering development her stretch is slowing. Plant 5 is still stretching rapidly and is coming to the end of preflower. No concern really at 85cm she has some room yet. Plant 6 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Slightly concerned despite her 84cm stature as she has been the most beefy looking plant all along, so I am expecting her to grow a good bit more. Plant 1 is still stretching rapidly and is still in preflower. Extremely very concerned about this one. The light is about as high as it can go. 111cm!! I have scoured the internet and the tallest Epsilon F1 I have found was 95cm. It's great that she is so happy this plant, but if she gets much taller I'm going to have to super crop her main cola. Whatever happens I am starting to dream of smashing my yield target out of the park, these girls are all impressive. Hard to believe they are just 30 days old. Plant 1: 126cm Plant 2: 107cm Plant 3: 93cm Plant 4: 94cm Plant 5: 97cm Plant 6: 96cm Plants 3 and 4 have stopped stretching now and are fully into flower. At 93cm and 94cm respectively, by the end of flower these girls may hit 1m but they wont go much more than that. Plant 2 looks to have just about stopped as well. It might go another 10cm overall. Plant 5 is still stretching but I think not much more. Plant 6 is still stretching and I am still expecting quite a bit of growth from her. Then there is plant 1. 126cm and still stretching. It has now grown beyond the height of the light. I hope it can somehow finish itself before it hits the top of the tent. I mean the secondary colas are over 1m already. It is a great shame this giant plant doesn't have more horizontal space to itself, either way it is absolutely shocking to see. I really do not want to super crop her, but am out of options. This grow, incidentally, constitutes the first and last time that I let any indoor cannabis plant go untrained. With basically 4 x 4 x 4 of usable space, training my plants is not really optional - and now you can all see why. This "50-70cm" strain has rapidly outgrown my space. RQS it may be time to revisit the height claims on this strain. Just saying. ### Week 5 Day 6 01:00 28/7 Rearranged the tent and photographed. I have been regularly rotating the plants and periodically moving them around. My problem is now plant one has already hit the top of the tent and there is no easy way to give it anymore space... still not sure what I am supposed to do but it's fine for now... tried to capture the problem with the photos. As well as plant 1, plant 6 looks like it's going to keep going for a good bit yet, and plant 2 is still putting a bit of height on. I took plenty of photos today to try and capture the essence of the jungle. It is quite unbelievable what these plants have done. I just cannot stop looking at them, they are magnificent. I have not fed for 4 days, will probably feed later I am just trying to slow them down a bit by not feeding them. It doesn't seem to be working. ### Week 5 Day 6 23:00 28/7 Defoliated heavily all plants. Fertigated 2l each. Removed some more lower side growth off the smallest plant (plant 3) to make space. Might leave it a few days before I photograph again. Plants 2, 3, and 4 are all well into flowering now, plant 5 is not far behind them, but plants 1 and 6 are still in preflower. :( What is really remarkable right now is the difference in colour between the plants further into flower vs the plants still in preflower. Day 62, Flower day 1 - Ladies have been doing great & have really turned into some massive plants! Can’t wait to see how the buds look! 6/9 I can't believe it but I had faith. The transplant yesterday LOOKED like it was fucked. I cleaned it up though and left it outside. This morning it was standing straight up. Both transplants were! I put tarps up to block the wind tunnel between buildings. It's still overcast and rainy. Sun isn't supposed to come out for a couple poke days. Chance of thubder storms tomorrow but I'm going to try to get everyone in their forever homes today. Or at least most of them. I plan to light dep a few right in the 3 gallon. I'm sure I'll be updating this after I get some work done. UPDATE: I WENT OVER AND GOT THREE MORE TRANSPLANTED. THAT MEANS FIVE ARE OUTSIDE IN THE CAGE. TWO 10TH PLANET, 2 BLUEBERRY CHEESE AND A LITTLE PURPLE PUNCH. THE 3 GALLON POTS WERE RELATIVELY HEAVY SO I PICKED THE LIGHTER ONES TO TRANSPLANT. I LEFT THE ORHER TWO 10TH'S IN THE GARAGE WITH THE DOOR OPEN WITH THE REMAINING PLANTS. I ALSO ADDED WIND BREAKS AND SUPPORTS TO EVERYTHING. I WANTED TO GET EVERUTHING DONE TODAY BUT THERE MAY BE A THUNDER STORM SO IF I DONT GET IT DONE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL AND ILL FINISH TOMORROW. TRANSPLANTS WENT SMOOTH. I learned a lot and transplanting went a lot smoother todsy than before. I feel really proud of myself. The last Transplant I did break a few leaves off that I didn't notice but whatever. I used tomato cages for suppirt on two and bamboo poles and string on the others. I'll add the vertical trellis as they grow. I'm proud of myself. 6/10 I got a lot done yesterday. Six are outside already. Two are in 20s in the garage. I'm planning on transplanting the rest today or tomorrow. I'll update later. Accidently uploaded lots of stuff on the wrong week. I just need to decide if I'm going to light dep that MASSIVE blueberry cheese or bite the bullet and put it in the fifty. Maybe I'll try to get some help from my cousin. Plants withstood the thunderstorm like Champs. I'll update as the day goes on. I planned better this year so I SHOULDN'T have an unmanageable jungle. FINALLY DECIDED TO GET The MONSTER BLUE CHEESE I FIMed INTO ITS FOREVER HOME A 50 FALLON POT. IT WAS TGE EASIEST BEST TRANSPLANT OF THEM ALL. JUST LIKE AETTING A POT IN THE WHOLE. I DONT EVEN THINK THE PLANT NOTICED. ONE OF THE PURPLE PUNCHES HAD ROOTS OB ONE OF ITS LEAVES WHEN I LOOKED BUTVIT WAS STILL STANDING UO STEAIGHT. I KNOW SOME OF THE PLANTS LOOK DROOPY BUT WEVE HAD SEVERAL DAYS OF RAIN AND A MASDIVE THUNDER STORM. I BROUGHT OUT THE EARLIER TRANSPLANTS AS WELL. THEY ARE OUT OF THE SHOCK. WIND IS PRETTY HIGH BUT I DONT WANT TO ADD MORE TARPS. I THINK THINGS ARE SECURED GOOD ENOUGH FOR NOW. IM SUPER STOKED THAT TRANSPLANT WENT SO GOOD! Went back at 7:30pm. Some plants have a little bit of transplant shock and a little bit of burn but it's negligible considering they've been through a thunderstorm with pouring rain and extremely high winds. That blueberry cheese in the 50 transplanted so easy and still looks like it didn't even know the difference. I'll start light dep once I get a plan. Plants are recovering nicely but should something happen to one I could replace it. I'm interested in the light dep though and I've got a pretty good idea how to start. 6/12 The plants that had a little transplant shock are coming out of it. We had a thunderstorm and pouring rain the day of some of the transplants. Wasn't forecasted. High winds moved the plants around a bunch bit they are tough as hell. Everything is out now. Suppisedcto have showers the next few days. I'm putting together a feeding schedule abd setting up a spit to start light dep on the three plants I decided to flower early. The cage now gets twice as much sun as before. This is going to be a good year. Went back over and plants are perking up and doing even better everytime I see them. I took a video but it might not upload until tomorrow. I may start a new diary for the light dep. I have a few places I'm thinking to use for light dep. I need to make a solid plan before I start so maybe a day or two. Trying to upload again but I doubt it. 6/13 Had a rushed morning but I watered the plants in the 3 gallons as they were dry. I had added more soil to a couple of the bags. The top soil is startingvtj dry out but the plants look good and we are supposed to get rain so I don't really want to water if it's going to be raining. I think I've found my light dep spot and schedule. I'll update after I do something. WENT BACK OVER AND SPRAYED A LITTLE BIT OF WATER ON THE EXTREMELY DRY TOPSOIL THAT I HAD TOPPED SOME OF THE PLANTS OFF WITH. SHITTY THING IS THAT WAS ADDED AFTER THE THUNDER STORM SO IT MAKES IT HARDER TO JUSTE THE PLANTS WATERING NEEDS. I CAN TELL THAT ONE OFCTHE FIRST TEANSPLANTS IS STILL HOLDING WATER. I MEAN WE GOT A DOWNPOUR AND I DONT WABT TO WATER IF WE'RE GOING TO BE GETTING RAIN ANYWAY. IM GOING TO LOOK BACK OVER THE DIARY. THATS ONE GREAT THING ABOUT THESE. YOU CAN GO BACK AND CHECK YOUR WORK. 6/14 Glad I held off watering. It's raining today. Just showers. We haven't gotten any of that extreme wind we usually do. I have the plants supported but I still worry. Definitely more than I should. Plants are still doing good and acclimating to there homes. I have not started the light dep with the 3 gallons but I think I've found my spot. Once I start it will just be staying consistent putt8ng them in and out. I need to train them anyway. I have some research to do and a joint to smoke so I'll update later.

12/4 first day of her 4th week. Nothing much changed. 12/6 LST bent her over to 90 degrees. 5 hrs later she pointed herself back at the light. 12/7 gave her first feed since the repot. TPS regimen for week three at 800 ml. Runoff 830 tds 7.1 ph

So I left them for 3 days and went for a trip. Came back and they were crazy. The 1 of the left and the broken girl are different phenos from the the other 2 which are in full flower now. I think those other 2 ladies will finish abit later. Also switched up the nutrients before leaving just to give the buds more of a organic taste. I'll be continuing the organic feeds with 50% of floracoco in this coming week. Decreases the ppm as the same left lady was being fussy, she showed me why though, she wanted to grow abit more. Buds are really fattening up. Now comes the difficult part, deciding when to start the flush and then when to harvest. With likely warming days, quite likely an early harvest is on the cards so I can avoid curing in a hot tin shed. Closely monitoring the extended forecast to hopefully harvest at the perfect time as all will be wasted if curing in a 30c tent. At the moment due to a changing forecast its possible I will only achieve a 5 day flush, and have 3 days to cure in mild temps. Unfortunately from then it looks.like things seriously heat up, if extended curing is required then likely I'll bring in side the house in mason jars during the heat of the day then cure further on the drying rack in my tin shed till during the cooler evenings until ready. No. I know this isn't ideal but I've done this previously and always ended up with good.buds just way more effort that's for sure. This being a secret grow has additional challenges that's for sure. My wife, and 2 teenage kids have no idea what goes on in this shed as to their knowledge only garden tools are stored here, if anyone in my house did gardening apart from me then this grow would be impossible that's for sure

07/10 Still alive, might have some problem with spidermites despite the neem oil and potassic soap spraying. Starting to be frosty let's see in a couple of weeks.

3/6: Yesterday I fed half strength nutrients ph'd to both. Amnesia's runoff ph was 5.5. So I made another half gallon of half strength and ph'd it to 7.5 to get Amnesia's runoff to be 6.5. If only I had done this sooner and didn't mess up with the PH testing drops as opposed to using a ph meter, Amnesia's leaves could have still been green. I've been removing all of the dried, crispy ends as I find them, leaving the rest of the leaf intact to suck up as much light as possible. Timelapses are showing that the buds are fattening up well though. Trichome production has kicked in and is covering the leaves. Beautiful colors all around. 3/8: I don't think I can wait any longer to feed Amnesia. Vacation starts midday tomorrow, Thursday, and I'll be away until Monday evening. I'm mixing up a half strength nutrient mix with molasses and epsom salt. I'm also going to try to set up a timer/pump system to water sunday night.

This was a fun plant to grow. The trichome production was amazing and the last couple weeks she really packed on the weight. The trichomes changed from clear to milky to amber a lot quicker than I anticipated. However I had started my flush 2 weeks prior so everything seems to be top notch. I water cured a small amount and the high is GREAT!
