A lot more happening this week! As shown in the pics, and as suspected, I have a manganese deficiency. I've been keeping my pH level at 6.2 in coco, manganese is taken up best by the plant below 6.0 pH. Dropping my ph level to 5.8 pH, and flushing with lower pH, hopefully it will solve the issue over the course of a few days. I made a new frame for a SCROG, with a "custom bend" in the CPVC pipe on both ends. The bend will allow me to take advantage of the slack material in the sides of my 4x4 tent. I'd previously taken 4" out of all the upright poles to shorten the tent so it would fit in the room due to low ceilings, meaning I had extra slack in my tent walls. The bend in the net frame pushes the sides of the tent out to 5 foot wide. My first SCROG net was a 6" mesh from Amazon, immediately knew I wanted a smaller mesh. Next time around I built my own with a 4" mesh and used the 4" for several grows. This time I decided to go with an even smaller, 3" mesh, and already I like it better. I don't really see myself going much smaller than 3" mesh though. It seems to work well, and any smaller and it may be too tight trying to work the plant through the opening sometimes, which if not careful, will damage the plant. I usually use a & gal cloth pot, grow off rules stated we 0had to use a 5 gal pot. Seeing as I only had 7 gal on hand, I was stuck picking up a Root Farm 5 gal cloth pot locally, as you can see, the roots didn't really stay contained, nor did they "air prune", i had to tear them off before installing the net above. On the last day of week 6 I finally got my net installed, and the plant SCROGged. I should have put the net in place a week or two earlier, it would have been easier to manipulate the plant, however the plant will still have a week to recover. I tie the net in place above the plant, and slowly lower it down, as I bend and super crop the main stalk over parallel to the net, and work all the branches underneath and spread them out. As the plant grows I'll continue to push branches back down through the net and moving them out to the next hole. This will greatly increase yields by allowing light to more bud sites, keeping all buds the same height and thus the same distance from the light. small budsites on a vertical branch, will transform into their own cola once the branch is laid on its side. Instead of a Christmas tree type of plant, with one large main cola, and smaller and smaller buds as you move further down the plant, you end up with a bunch of colas that are all close to the same size, and more importantly, the same level of maturity. The SCROG method, combined with super cropping, and defoliation has greatly increased my yields. As the plant is getting worked into the net, I'll defoliate where necessary, ie a huge fan leaf covering bud sites, however for the next several weeks I'll be defoliating so mush every night or two, systematically trimming off all fan leaves, and stripping everything below the net, and any small bud sites that wont produce well. Usually by the time I'm half way through the flower stage there are no big fan leaves left to be found. It helps with light penetration, which results in a higher quality, higher quantity yield, as well as airflow, which will help prevent White Powdery Mildew and other molds etc. Once a fan leaf is 14 days old, its ability to photosynthesize light, starts to degrade. Once it reaches a certain point, the leaf drains more energy from the plant, than it's giving the plant. My best yields have been from heavily defoliated plants, my last grow I couldn't physically defoliate quite as heavily as usual, and I ended up about 25-30% less bud than expected

A little bit of defoliation and LST to day to give the wrangly clones some shape and some mains. These girls will bush out this week, hoping for about 10 to 14 days before I switch to 12/12. Feeding at 1000ec, some calmag, twice daily top feed drain to waste. The roots are sitting in aerated water all day thanks to the hempy's. Week 15 Day 99 (20/11/2020): Unfortunately did not have time today to take pictures or check them because have been quite busy. Day 100 (21/11/2020): Woow day 100 today, which seems a bit crazy but I think the girls just need another month and they will be ready for harvest. It has been a great grow so far and although 100 days seems like a lot, the girls have definitely come really far. DSD is definitely one of the slower girls and her buds are not as big as the other girls, but maybe that will pay off by being the most hard-hitting. Day 101 (22/11/2020)💧: Measured the pH of the girl today before watering and it was at 5.75 which means it needs to be increased slightly. I wonder why it keeps dropping because apparently the BioBizz soil is supposed to maintain the pH pretty well but I guess she is quite big and must be taking in more nutrients. I also decided to stop giving her CalMag since she has not been showing the deficiency on the leaves for a week or two now. So I watered with the usual 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, 1.5ml of TopMax. And on top of that I gave 0.75ml of pH+ to increase the pH by 0.5 points. The buds are not fattening up as much as I thought they would but the trichomes are definitely getting more and more dense on the flower which is a great sign. Day 102 (23/11/2020): DSD has definitely been the most resistant to stress/nutrients/watering problems. She always looks happy and except for the calcium deficiency at the end of veg, she has definitely been the strongest girl of the 4 in the tent. So happy with how she has been growing, definitely reflects the indica that she is Day 103 (24/11/2020): Not that many updates today, just doing as amazing as always. Day 104 (25/11/2020)💧: Today I watered the girl with 1.5ml of BioGrow, 4.5ml of BioBloom, and 1.5 of Topmax. She is looking really healthy and beautiful as always Day 105 (26/11/2020): Managed to take some lovely pictures and a video of a close up of those beautiful snowy trichomes. This girl will definitely be a hard hitter – all the trichomes are so densely packed. Amazing progress from last week and the flowers are definitely fattening up.

Nice growth this week, lst from last week resulted in more cola growth. Readjusted lst for even canopy. Both showing sex, treating as pre flower and starting to transition into bloom nutes with a light feed.

I am maintaining the usual dosage of fertilizers. I've done a little defoliation but no lollipopping yet.

Well growmies , that was fun , I really enjoyed doing a outdoor run this year , it's really too bad about how the weather played out , but still I ended up getting a bunch of jars of some frosty Buds 👈 and thats what matters ..... Great week -Colas are getting stronger and more white hairs are coming through now. Wendy is definitely getting ready to pop. Nancy has a cola that has exploded outward - prob chasing the light, may have been too high. Have put the light Very close not, about 5" away. I can hold my hand there so I'm sure they will be fine. I installed the scrog net and spending time each day moving the leaves back and getting those colas in the light. Any advice? Should I trim the leaves at the bottom now - there is a fair bit and i have to move them aside to feed? ;-)

Plant was almost 190 cm tall and full of big long colas, she gave me a very good harvest 💪🏻💚

10/26/2020 6 Days into week 4, all looking great, update a little early but going out of town. Calyx are getting bigger, pistils popping up everywhere drinking about 6 liters a week. 10/29/2020 3 days into week #5 day 3 she took 4 liters today she is drinking plenty of water! next week will topdress with 4-9-3

She is looking good growing bigger and bushier! I am working hard to get her nice and big!

Así cumple su 11va semana de vida y 7ma semana en Floración, esta semana han habido cambios en el jardín ya que al fin pude adquirir un tent, muy contento puesto a que es lo suficientemente espacioso como para meter 6 planta. La Amnesia luce preciosa en el tent, los capullos están bien pesados y llenos de resina, tuve que amarrar los capullos principales dado a que el peso de los mismos se llevaban las ramas para abajo. En esta semana se regó una vez con fertilizantes, en la solución de riego se utilizó: 3ml Flora Gro, 4.5ml Flora Bloom, 3ml Flora Micro y 3ml MagiCal. La solución de riego marcó 515ppm y 6.0 PH.

Esta pequeña bestia ha empezado a crecer a lo bestia, esta semana va a doblar su altura, me encanta como están creciendo las colas, van a ser enormes. No hay mucho más que contar esta semana, simplemente está creciendo a la perfección.
