End of week 5 for this lady. Awesome week for GG4 Sherbet FF she is bouncing back really good from the issues she had in earlier weeks. She still developing slow but thats ok. The leaves looks really good and healthy. I did a good defoliation to the botton so she can receive more light. For week 6 she only is going to receive water and cal-mag so she can continue with the recovering.

Rolling into week 7. Time to dial down the nutes and start my UVB regiment. I use Reptisun 10.0 bulbs due to LED UV's giving far less than optimal performance. Reptisun 5.0 bulbs work 2. I only run them from week 7 to flush and for only 3 hours a day within the current light cycle. Update day 45: After doing a trichome check, it finished EARLY!! Time to do a quick flush then harvest. I was going to add the nutes to the fresh water today 😂😂

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Another week of this lady flexing hard! Looks like she's done stretching and is now on to body building, hopefully she packs on some pounds in the next month or so... Smells and frost are coming on and she's just rolling along. I expect another strong week upcoming.

Week 5 of Flower: HLG Diablo at 100% 15in from canopy. Watered in at 900ml top dressed 2tbs bloom, 2tbs bloom2, 3 tbs barley, 2 tbs worm castings, last recharge day and a silica day. Flower set, in bloom I feel like I should have thinned out the canopy more for better penetration but it’s the first run so let’s she how deep she gets in.

Everything is progressing normally. The weather is changing and temps outside are dropping so high temps in tent are no longer an issue. Other than the burnt tips from some sort of burn or defiency I have no complaints. I plan on harvesting BBK next week Wednesday. I fed them regular water right before taking the pics with 3 oz liquid worm castings mixed into 2 gallons. I have been feeding them each until first signs of run noff. The watering before this one (Sun 10/24) I gave them plain water, the one before that (Thur 10/21) I gave them the max dosage of what the general hydroponics 3 in 1 bottles recommend and didnt hold back like I normally do which is to give about half of what they recommend. It didn't appear to affect the plant to much as far as burn, the tips were already fried and the sclerosis didn't progress. I will flush the BBK this Friday and prepare her to harvest next Wed or Friday. I can't wait!!

All is going ok and growing fast. Was underfeeding a bit and was a bit close to the lights and giving a bit of light stress and turning leaves pale green near the top half of the plants. Great week, the girls are doing fine without me. All I have to do is pop in and give them Some water x2 a week. I increased their feed just a bit this week, I will start tapering the nutrients off soon, and will increase the amount of water going through them in hopes of getting a 10% runoff or so at least 3-4 times before harvest. Don’t even want to think about getting too far ahead, I’m getting very excited for these beautiful girls. These are quickly turning into the best homegrown I’ve seen yet! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Week 3 flowering (a week is 5 days) Both plants begin to seriously flower with some early trichomes on leaves and buds. It seems that Gori is quite in a more advanced status compared to Rilla. I also changed the nutrients compositions following the 3rd week Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary). Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. Every day I also correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light). 🌱

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had partly cloudy skies, low humidity, and temps in the lower 80's. I watered about .25 gallons from the water hose. Day 2 we had lite showers in the morning, partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 80's the remainder of the day. Day 3 we had showers in the early morning until afternoon. Then it was mostly sunny with high temperature around 79. Day 4 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning, then rain and drizzle intermittently throughout the day. High temperature for the day was 71°. Day 7

Usual summer week here in the south, every day above 86 ° F (max 100 ° F). My pheno is a medium sized plant, is not a beast but is growing well, drinking 2 gallons per day of spring water showing only few signs of heat stress. She's in full stretch. I fed her half the recommended dose of Biobizz Grow 'cause is too hot and don't want to burn her. I think we are 10 days before flowering. I covered her with a PVC net in order to give her a little shield from the sun and give me more privacy ;-) P. S. She has an unbelievable smell, it remember to me Kashmir pollen hash

***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this ETS plant is still going strong and is the 2nd best plant in the tent, it very well may get 1st some harvest time as I was detecting some strong whiffs of a kushy berry smell coming off it, it was sexy as fuck! All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 2cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Till next week. ***Sponsored Grow*** Official Website: https://medicgrow.com/ + https://www.emeraldtriangleseeds.co.uk/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/medicgrowled + https://www.facebook.com/OriginalETS/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/medicgrow + https://twitter.com/emeraldseeds Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/medicgrow420/ + https://www.instagram.com/emeraldtriangleseeds/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNmiY4F9z94u-8eGj7R1CSQ Growdiaries: https://growdiaries.woodroom.tel/grower/medicgrowled https://growdiaries.woodroom.tel/grow-lights/medic-grow + https://growdiaries.woodroom.tel/grower/emeraldtriangleseeds https://growdiaries.woodroom.tel/seedbank/emerald-triangle-seeds

3 seeds from barneys farm : glue gelato auto. Diary : Day 1: I dug a pit and cleaned my dirt with metal grid and a wheelbarrow & Installed the greenhouse. Day 2 : I rotated my dirt and added universal soil. 4 x 70l to area of 6m2. I also planted seeds in universal soil without sprouting first. Day 3 : I gave water and checked for sprouts. Bought moist meter and dripping hose. Installed those and making the greenhouse more moisty now. Feeling : Verry happy for my first time. Lots to learn.. . Excited
