🏆The First Grow Cup Diary🏆 _____📅 Week 7 | 📅 Day 43 - 49 | 22.02 - 27.02 Feb. ______ 27.02.25 | Day 49 🌞💧 🔸 I didn't spend much time with the ladies this week, I had a lot to do and then there was the carnival. So this week just a little video of the three cuties. I try to cut off as few leaves as possible and try to do more with LST. It doesn't look very nice, but the fewer leaves you cut, the faster the plant grows....Yes, I know it itches in your fingers to cut every day, but just give your plants a rest. 🔸 Runtz 1 and 2 are doing really well and look just as I imagined. We have a super successful young lady. The Sweet Cherry Pie is taking color, is starting, the flowers are still swelling and we look forward to seeing the final form. The top tops are higher but all made a nice bunch flower, the Marshydro care is fitting. We are in flush at pH 6.0 recommended to promote the absorption of all feeding residues. Doing a good bit of defoliation this week. Really want undergrowth to start thriving. Using stem clips to space everything out. Day. 24 used tap water with ph of about 7.5. Soil ph down so using higher ph water with out ph balancing

Another week of this lady flexing hard! Looks like she's done stretching and is now on to body building, hopefully she packs on some pounds in the next month or so... Smells and frost are coming on and she's just rolling along. I expect another strong week upcoming.

And im in first flowering Week since last sunday, so far i really can't complain. Everything looks healthy and fine. Plant 3 is still kinda weaker/slower and Plant 4 seems to want to do some sativa things and grows up like hell but oh well, at least Plant 1 and 2 just grow as they should. This week i made the Bio Tabs compost tea for the first time and the plants seem to love it. Each one received 500ml if it. Can't wait to see the results at the end of the run. Again thanks to Bio Tabs for sending it out so i can test it. Humidity was pretty high because of constant rain this week, but it seems like i have made it through it, now just to make sure to finish this run before the summer heat will come. I removed a few leaves here and there because they were stacking or blocking light, i will defoliate in 1-2 weeks for real. Sadly Plant 4 needed an even higher stool then last weeks, so it's on the same height as the others. It was getting not enough light this deep down. That is also because why the scrog net does look like it does right now. I try to make it more "appealing" tonight, but i don't want to break anything and it works like it should right now, so yeah it looks stupid but it's alright. Flower Week 1 Day 43 - Today the tent goes from veg to flower with the new 12/12 light cycle. A feed was made up for the girls and they each drank 1.5l allowing a little run off Day 44 - Nothing happening today just allowing the girls to get used to the new schedule Day 45 - So today I noticed some clawing on the girls and darker green leaves towards the bottom. Pretty sure I overdone it on the Nitrogen so I decided to give the girls a good drink of plain tap water, a partial flush I guess. I ran 3 litres of water through each of the girls allowing for a good run off. Plan is to dilute any feed in the soil down a little? Day 46 - Took a few photos today of the leaves showing what I believe to be Nitrogen toxicity Day 47 - Nothing happening today I am just hoping the girls recover well from my over feeding. Guess this is where the learning really starts with being able to read your plants :) Day 48 - The girls were given another feed today but minus the Biobizz Grow as they hopefully still have plenty of Nitrogen to be getting on with. Each took just over 1l of feed Day 49 - End of first week of flowering. No.1 is seeing week 1 out standing 60cm tall. No.2 & No.3 ended the week at 49cm tall. I am about half way through this grow and so far all the girls are still alive. I am sure I have made multiple mistakes already but the girls seem to be very forgiving I hope everyone is well and as always thanks all for dropping in and catching up :)

The temperatures, humidity, height, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil spread evenly across the top of the soil. Daylight hours this week will be below 13.5. I can't use halves in the grow conditions, so I'm noting here. Day 1 we had a high temperature of 85°. Skies were cloudy all day. We had a huge thunderstorm with high winds roll through followed by heavy rain most of the day. I added another 100 ml of feather meal top dressed to each pot. Day 2 we had a high temperature of 90°F. Skies were partly cloudy. I watered about 5 gallons per pot. I treated today with Growers Ally fungicide. Day 3 we had a high temperature of 94°F. The girls were thirsty. I watered about 6 gallons per pot. I really wet them and the ground under the pots. They're feeding on the runoff in the soil as they've rooted through the pots. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 94°. It felt like 102°F. Skies were sunny and clear. I watered about 5 gallons per pot twice today. The girls were super thirsty. I added 80ml Coop Poop top dressed. Day 5 we had a high temperature of 90°F. Skies were partly cloudy. I watered about 5 gallons each pot. Day 6 the high was 94°F with mostly clear skies. I watered about 5 gallons per pot. Then I watered in the evening about 3 gallons per pot. These girls are eating now. Day 7 we had a high temperature of 89°F. Skies were mostly cloudy to overcast. We had a lot of rain today so no need to water

She is now a skinny 17 inches tall. Defoleated all the bottom crap and cleaned her up. A little newt burn last week at 600 ppm. I have raised ppm to 680 so she may not be happy come the end of the week. She will have to get use to it. I'm sure she will be fine. Added second light, so it should get interesting.

Well here we are, only a week or two from finishing and this girl's has been a champ! Nothing happening this week aside from watching the buds finish swelling and colours coming in on the leaves. Smell is overwhelming stank, with a sweet undertone just filling the room (and the one above!) when I open the tent. Starting to notice water consumption is down to 2L or less per day which is not a lot for a plant this size, that combined with the colours and the leaves starting to dry and curl makes me believe that there's maybe 7-10 days to go. Not going to rush her, but will start checking trichomes daily to try and nail the perfect harvest window. The last week or two always feel the longest!

This week has been a total success 💚🌿 all thanks to my mate BB_UK!! all the ladies have been perfectly transplanted into their new 4 phat sacs with FoxFarms Happy Frog organic soil. Put up the scrog netting today and also went out and bought a 1 gallon sprayer to feed my ladies, so much easier to get to the hard to get areas with ease. Now it's the growing game. Did my first bend on my ladies today. The bend is in the photo. Let's see her in the morning how she went. 06/29/2022 Got my seeds today, soaking Jiffy peat pellets with bio-remedy. Welcome to my Slurircane Diary sponsored by MSNL & Spider-Farmer Week 7, early flip and attempt at reveg into early week 8 but decided I liked the look of her cola potential and decided to throw her into flowering. From the reveg attempt I thought a ratio on/off would be best if it leaned more on the off, so a 13-11 off / on was set for early week 8 and till fattening (when the stretch is over, 'pre flower) This is a bit of a weird one for me, well more a 1st. I'm not 100% sure. But I do remember this getting 3 13.5hr days as did my whole tent. As my cheap timer ran for an extra hrs off when it was meant to be on. So, put it into a flip. And I tried for over a week to reveg, I'm sure if I pushed on. I would of gotten to reveg. (I'm not sure how long it takes, am very pleased though with this spectrum even without the IR that the flip time is quick. So, after a week 7 was finished. I decided to push on to a 13-11 off/on to induce her. I'll increase it to 13-11 on/off in fattening. Sadly has the pre flip and then attempt at reveg make all her nodes very stiff. And near to LST. After pre flower I'll hard defol and attemp to distance the colas. Surprisingly with her been a dom indica her leafs are very Stavia style. Very thin. Would make an ideal candidate for scrog. She is very healthy and been the most responsive with co2/heat. Although growth was stalled from my reveg attempt, I'm sure i cut a good few CM from her Height by reversing it again. I should of looked up how long it takes to reveg 1st. Lessons learnt. I still have an amazing pheno. (I'm a few weeks ahead in Real Time) Defoliation So, this was done lots on this girl. As my plans for her were changed due to poor attention. So, start of wk 7, what I thought was still a few weeks out from me flipping. But, after my abandoned attempt of reveggin. She was in limbo and I decided to risk it with a hard defoliation. (Looks like it was done in pre flower, it wasn't, It was just coming back into veg, but would of taken weeks to get it growing fully again, and at looking I'm happy with it so I pushed again with my Defol to get colas. You can find this on grow weed easy "full tutorial for flowering") am gonna leave her now until she's out of pre flower, she's 35cm or so tall. I don't see putting on much height. As my reveg attempt will for sure hanmer her stretch. Diet Was planning on taking Alga Grow off for the last 10 days r so off grow. So, I only had a few days off it, and its on Alga Bloom now. Going into week two I did a reservoir change and added 1 tsp of GH Floramicro, Floragro and Florabloom for a total of 3 tsp of base nutrients instead of 3 3/4 to try and combat the yellowing of the leaves. Iv also added 18 ml of B-52 to help alleviate the stress this girls experiencing. May increase nutrients dependent on leaf colour and how much water/nutes are used over the next few days. I will also be adding in some benificial fungi + bacteria and some calmag. This will happen over the next few days as I dont want to shock her. After adding the calcium, magnesium and iron the yellowing improved significantly. As you can see in the video from day 13 though the roots are a little brown. I did add RAW microbes and im wondering if the browning is just a stain. If not though, being new to this I don't know if this amount of browning is something to worry about just yet. On day 13 I removed the plant dome as my humidifier finally arrived. Nice bonus is my temps went down since its a cool mist humidifier. As of day 13 I'm running at 60% RH and 23.5 C. Any comment to let me know your take on the root browning would be awesome. Thanks for following.
