Week 4 Veg Report: Croco Girls - The Mutant Chronicles 🌱 Hello Grow Fam! Week 4 of veg is here, and what a unique and eventful week it has been for the Croco girls! These funky mutants continue to surprise and amaze with their one-of-a-kind growth patterns. While the colder weather has introduced a few challenges, we’re adapting and thriving together. Let’s dive into the details! Environmental Updates: A Chill in the Air 🌬️ This week, temperatures in the grow room dipped to around 21-22°C, with relative humidity (RH) holding steady at 65%. While not drastic, this slight chill is enough to slow down growth a bit as the plants adapt. Cooler temps can encourage tighter node spacing, but they can also delay development slightly. Here’s how we’re addressing it: Proactive Monitoring: Keeping a close eye on temperature and RH trends to ensure they remain within optimal ranges. Gradual Adjustments: Slowly warming the environment with indirect heat sources if necessary, without shocking the plants. Remember, plants are incredibly resilient—and this slight delay will only make the Croco girls’ eventual growth even more rewarding. Feeding Updates: All in One Pellets & Organic Boost 🌾 This week marked a significant milestone: I introduced Aptus Holland’s All in One Pellets to the soil mix. Here’s how it went down: Preparation: Added a generous dose of the pellets to each pot. Soil Enrichment: Topped the pots with Pro Mix soil, bringing the total soil volume to 1 liter per plant. Feeding Transition: While I did one last watering with All in One Liquid, I’ll now rely primarily on: Regulator (0.15ml/L): To support stress resistance and strengthen cell walls. CalMag Boost (0.25ml/L): For calcium and magnesium supplementation, essential for strong stems and vibrant growth. Start Booster (0.25ml/L): To continue promoting robust root development. The combination of organic pellets and the Aptus liquid lineup ensures the girls have everything they need for a slow, steady nutrient release while maintaining microbial activity in the soil. Watering Technique: Bottom-Up Hydration 💧 This week, I switched to bottom-watering, a game-changer in preventing fungus gnats and promoting healthier root development. How It Works: Water is added to the tray, allowing the soil to wick moisture upwards through capillary action. Advantages: Reduces surface moisture, deterring gnats from laying eggs. Encourages roots to grow deeper as they seek water, resulting in a stronger root system. To further combat gnats, I’ve also placed yellow sticky traps around the pots. This dual strategy—bottom-watering and sticky traps—is already showing promising results. Mutant Marvels: The Funky Leaf Phenomenon 🍃 Each Croco girl is a masterpiece of mutation, with unique leaf shapes and growth patterns. No two plants are alike, and that individuality is part of what makes this grow so exciting. I’m patiently waiting for them to grow large enough to identify their sex. Here’s the plan moving forward: Option 1: Flip to 12/12 Temporarily: A one-week light flip to identify sex, then returning to veg. Pros: Fast and straightforward. Cons: Slight delay in veg growth. Option 2: Clone & Flip: Take cuttings from each plant, root them, and flip the clones to flower. Pros: Preserves the main plants in veg. Cons: Requires additional space and time for cloning. I’ll decide based on how the girls progress over the next week or two. Either way, I’m excited to unlock their potential. Photography: Capturing the Magic 📸 This week, I focused on showcasing the Croco girls’ beauty through a mix of macro photography and behind-the-scenes shots. Using both my Sony and Nikon cameras, I’ve been able to capture intricate details—from water droplet reflections to the delicate veining in their leaves. Why Use a DSLR/Mirrorless Camera? Greater sensor size allows for higher-quality images compared to even the latest smartphones. The ability to swap lenses provides flexibility for macro shots, wide angles, and close-ups. Depth of field and manual focus control ensure every shot is intentional and artistic. Lens Choices: Macro lenses (e.g., 90mm) for close-ups of leaf textures and water droplets. Standard lenses (e.g., 50mm) for portrait-style plant shots. While phone cameras like the latest iPhone can take great photos, they can’t quite match the level of detail, depth, and creative control a dedicated camera offers. I must say that among the three, the one that had the greatest success on LST was OG2 folded one week after the others excellent response even from ICE CREAM even if I see it too empty .... I can't say why ... maybe it was the exposure one thing is for sure, the best satisfactions happen after so many mistakes ... kiss kiss to everyone who follows me happy and abundant crops

Welcome to my first grow report on this site! I've chosen for 4 Runtz seeds from Zamnesia. Seems to be a great strain, 50/50 hybrid with a high thc percentage. After 5 days, all 4 germinated. I don't do pre-germination, the seeds go straight into pre watered soil (Ph 6.2) Just kept the temperature between 22.6 - 27.4°C (72.6°F - 81.3°F) and the humidity between 64-94% No nutrients right now. -SOAKING SEEDS STARTED AT 4:15PM on 4/2/22 All of them sank by the next day with a little stirring of the water - most of them were floating before I stirred the water then they sank & stayed underwater. -PLANTING SEEDS STARTED AT 6PM on 4/3/22 Seedling Starter Soil: 1 Coco Coir Block (hydrated with 12cups aquarium water) About 5 cups Vermiculite 4Tbsp Down To Earth Starter Nutrients Mycorrhizal Fungi Spring Water - watering the hole with mycorrhizal before planting seed & then again after planted. -AFTER THE FIRST SPROUT ON 4/5/22 Turned on seedling clip light to blue only, dimmest setting @ 20%. Keeping light on for 18/6 6am-12pm - 4/6/22 INCREASED BLUE ONLY SEEDLING LIGHT TO 50% It seems like they were slightly stretching for light **watch for light burn on cotyledon leaves** -4/7/22 MORNING INCREASED BLUE ONLY SEEDLING LIGHT TO 100% The plants are stretching even more I increased light to full 100%, it'll have to keep an eye on them & make sure they don't get light burnt or topple over from reaching -4/7/22 AFTERNOON SWITCHED LIGHT TO GIIXER The two tallest plant cotyledon started to droop to the side so I didn't want to take a risk continuing to try the clip light only on blue @ 100%. I have the Gixxer on only veg at a distance of 10" away from the tops of the cotyledon leaves. I also cracked the lid & put an oscillating fan on low just to give them a tiny bit of movement to strengthen their stems because they'll be tall and weaker with stretching. *I tried using a new seedling light & it was a failure - they are now stretching due to that light. I switched back to my trusted seedling light & hoping they'll be back on track.*

Sept 10th She was ankered to the fence with rope. Notthing to report really. Looking great no sign of mould. Heads are yellow looking. Pretty bizarre. From a distance its is really striking...does'nt show in pictures sadly She is next up for defoliation, together with Killer Kush. Few more days rain till sunny period..fingers crossed. _____ Week 12 | Day 85 - 91 | 5th week of Flower ______ Day 79🌞 oh yes... the smell when I open the tent becomes more and more intense. The buds also look more and more frosty... I think the extra side light pays off, where normally there is little or no light, the buds look just as frosty as the top colas. I hope you can see that well in the pictures... unfortunately I don't have much space to take good pictures of the pages... Only LPH 2 & 3 can be seen well from the front. Amnesia Haze: Amnesia, as expected, is much slower in development than LPH and Biscotti. Number 1 looks a bit wilder and scruffy than 2 and 3. Also from the development 2 and 3 are further and form already diligent trichomes Biscotti: both biscottis look identical, same pheno I think. development is very good and already looks very frosty Lemon Power Haze: LPH 2 & 3 look identical, with number 3 looking frostier and furthest along in terms of development. LPH number 1 looks totally different, the buds look quite small, and it also looks different. I have to think about something for watering. I love my plants but watering 8 pieces in such a small space is no fun hehe. At the moment I water them manually via a small water pump, the whole thing is very fast but I still have to dislocate myself every time to get to the back plants. this is not the yellow from the egg :D For the next grow, the plants have to be higher and I'm thinking of an automatic water supply. Actually, watering my plants calms me down when I do it with the watering can, but under different conditions...Possibly also fewer plants but more training. When the tent is empty again, I start to implement my plans. I'm also thinking about growing 1 or 2 plants in a DWC system. Whether I make something myself or buy something ready-made is not yet clear. If you have any tips, feel free to write to me. Day 81 🌞💧 - Today was feeding time again, as announced again after the 3rd day. it was interesting and easy, the variety has a very high potential, the plant has survived both a deficit and an overdose, but she coped well! the effect is pleasant and strong. I recommend an excellent variety for its price!

Growing this strain was quite cool. A nice small grow or macro grow I should say. The plant seemed quite resilient which is always a good thing. I wish I could have waited another week before harvest but was getting complaints about the smell. Most of all I have to say I am rather impressed with my yield, I thought I would get 10 grams in a 4ltr pot maybe 14 at the most but ended up with 21 grams/ 3 quarters of an ounce, so next grow I'm hoping for an oz!

She is getting fat! What a great plant she is - again, little to no deficiencies, other than some light burn but I could not complain to have such strong genetics for my first ever grow! Trichomes are not too cloudy, so still a while to go but what an AUTO!

Removed a few fan leaves.✂️🌿 Changed the nutrient solution. 🌊💉 Very happy with this strain so far. 😁👍
