This plant was outstanding was with the other two that caught a little bit of powdery mildew but this one did not show a sign at all so I would say it is very resistant to powdery mildew. It was the smallest grower but produced the biggest yield and the prettiest flowers. She will sit and cure and I will update with the smoke once I am ready. But other than that I would see the stunted growth is cultivator error as they are my first auto flowers I was very careful not to overwater so I very well might have underwater. So I will experiment with a little bit more water next time and maybe a 20-4 light cycle.

Just putting these seeds in well see what they do and what they end up actually being is a mystery. Our local weed store (seeds store too) are fuckin morons. They insist Northern Lights and Skunk are not and never were a strain because there supplier(who's weed is utter shit by the by) never heard of it..idiots. a simple search would show them but a 20year grower doesn't know better then there 2 year grower apparently. Anyway I got these seeds from a friend who bought them at the store. One is supposedly reCon but what I saw grow was NOT reCon. So maybe it was a different phenomenon I dunno. The second mystery seed is an actual mystery as the original packing was ruined so all possibilities are listed on the cup lol. Wish me luck

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had lots of sunshine and a lite breeze. The soil began to dry out and I watered about 1.5 - 2 gallons per plant, from the water hose, that afternoon. Day 2 we had rain early morning and showers throughout the day. The girls look like their roots found the iron I added last week. Day 3 we had early morning rain, drizzle and showers in the afternoon. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 1.66ml/gallon of soil. as I've only got about 25 gallons of soil. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 4 we had more rain, drizzle, and mist intermittently throughout the . The good news is the ferrous sulfate has lowered soil pH to 6.2 👌. There's still a small excess of phosphorus, but the girls will grow into it. Day 5 we had more rain. It rained all morning for about 8 hours. The pots are soaking wet. Day 6 We missed the scattered showers but it's been 80-90% humidity all day. Even with the beautiful sunshine the soil isn't drying out. I'm looking at the nodes to see when I'll be topping. Day 7 we had lots of sunshine and temps over 80°F. These girls are loving it. I'm looking at the 4th node to top. I'll wait for more stem above the 4th node.There needs to be enough stem above the node that it won't split as the branches grow heavy from large buds. This week was a success. The girls more than doubled in height. They performed their job while battling excessive rain and winds. I'll be looking to top these girls and add soil to top off their pots next week. I'm hoping for less rain and more sunshine next week.

Veg15, han crecido como 2 centímetros desde el transplante, aún no necesitan riego, desde ahora regaré cada 3~4 días, cuando el sustrato este un 80~90% seco, han estirado un poco desde que subí la distancia del LED y bajé su intensidad, mañana haré Main Lining. Veg16, hoy se torturaron las plantas con Main Lining, se cortó arriba del segundo nodo y se cortaron también las hojas de un dedo bajo el primer nodo, las plantas que tenían suficiente crecimiento de les hizo LST también, cuando se apague la luz se efectuará un spray foliar con B-52, y mañana un nuevo riego. Veg17, riego con 5.5 pH y EC 1.8~1.9, se regaron con 1.5 litros y no se obtuvo drenaje, próximo riego tendrá que ser con más cantidad de agua para obtener drenaje, el agua se calentó a 23 grados y se oxigenó antes de regar, mañana se ajustará el LST ya que siguen creciendo muy bien. Veg18, hoy solo se ajusto el LST, siguen creciendo bien. Veg19, ajuste de LST, nada más que anotar. Veg20, siguen creciendo, talvez hay que ajustar la cantidad de luz DLI. Veg21, tuve que poner una estufa para aumentar la temperatura en el indoor y bajar la intensidad del LED a un 50% para alcanzar un DLI óptimo. Hoy haré ajuste de LST y revisar la humedad del sustrato.

So we started feeding them. just some organic growth by BAC and some Calmag. Mostly around the sides of the pots to encourage the roots and start the Microlife overall. We have used nice lukewarm water and added some sugar sirop to activate all the wee beasties. The growth last week was phenomenal although one is going faster than the other. For this reason I changed them around, should climate on that spot have anything to do with that. Now we are looking at other XL runts diaries, to learn from the best performers and copycat their methods to maximize yields with this setup. We will decide if we will just LST them or give them a top... Have to be quick tho, these ladies will flower soon... This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!

The Apple Cup hermied this week along with the Baker's Dozen. Fortunately Tropicanna Poison is flowering so fast that it seems to be unbothered by the hermies next to it. The hermied plants will be stunted as more energy will be focused on developing pollen/seeds. Also I'll have to chop them down early before any seeds begin to solidify within the buds. It's ideal to immediately remove any hermies as soon as pollen sacs are spotted. Unfortunately I only have my small closet space so I decided to leave them and observe the growth of hermies.

This is a new seedling I topped think I’ll keep 8 tops was considering only keeping 4 but I’m going for 8 there all staying up equal hight on there own Tied her down she good! 8 nice tops one more week and flower time!

I apologize upfront for all the photos. It was hard to pick which ones to upload, so I picked a good variety. There is gonna be between 4-6 pounds once dried/cured. These were all super dense and very little larf. This was a higher temp/higher humidity run with lots of co2 and they blew up big. It’s been a minute since I’ve grown a cola or 2 that were bigger than my arm…this time there was dozens of them. Each plant was only topped one time. The temps were usually mid 80’s and humidity in the mid 60’s during flower. This might seem high to some, but learning to apply VPD to a grow should not be trial and error, in other words, this was intentional. It’s not risky either. During the first 6 to 7 weeks of flower it is very important to not let your night time temps to go below 75 degrees. POWDERY MILDEW=LOW TEMPS AND HIGH HUMIDITY. Take one of these away and there will not be any powdery mildew! Do not let your temps go below 75! The last 2 weeks I dropped the humidity to 40% and my night temps to mid 60’s for resin production. A couple of thing one should have to create large buds is a temperature gun(for leaf temp), a par meter and co2. Keep the stomata open and feed lots of co2=huge buds. Learn about VPD and not just a quick google search! When it’s dry and cured I’ll be back for an update on weight, taste and effects. Currently the plants are drying in the room at 60 degrees and 60% humidity until I can get in there to trim them. Might be 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for all the likes and comments!
