Skunk Special, a.k.a. Red Skunk, stems from the infamous Red Skunk clones that conquered the Netherlands in the late eighties/ early nineties. Ferry started working on the Skunk Special in the nineties. The Skunk Special is the result of several S1 lines inbred with a 25% of Automatic. The current line was selected over several generations in order to retain the right and essential Skunk features, yet creating a fast flowering strain. Showing almost no variety between the individuals, this is among the most stable and homogenous strains since it was selected from a few thousand plants. This Skunk Special is a powerful and strong plant with thick, solid stems, creating massively tight buds during the flowering stage. The Skunk Special has gorgeous looking red pistils that give this plant an amazing bag appeal. Skunk Special is suitable for indoor, greenhouses and outdoors if grown in temperate and/or the warm Mediterranean climate. It is a massive yielding outdoor behemoth with amazing trichome production. The smell can be described as extremely pungent and citral with the classic cat-piss smell of the old-school Skunk. It is a very clean smoke. A Skunky and slightly sweet taste that is pleasantly acidic towards at the end. A mildly relaxing body high that causes a tingling sensation combined with a very pleasant head high.

Hola a todos, En esta semana 3 de floración la planta sigue engordando sus cogollos purpuras. Ha dejado de crecer para centrar su energía de producir sus flores, que presentan buenos tricomas.

Started flush. Mostly white trichs with small amount of amber. Will harvest on Wednesday and hang them up in an open tent. Will wet trim the big leaves and let dry for 7 days then cure for three weeks. If I learned anything from this grow is to defoliate the lower buds more. My canopy was great but I had a lot unusable immature bud. This is my third grow using my A.B.L.E. Grow Chamber and it was the best. Hoping to get about 5 ounces worth of dried bud.

Such a lovely looking lady. Super frosty and smelling super tasty. Fruit and gas! I lost count at 25 tops, some super huge and some smaller but one things for sure, I'm going to be getting lots of good grade weed and very little larf. She is starting to swell up. Will feed next week then start her flush depending on how she is looking. Getting close!!!

first issue, one of the plants has some spots on a leaf, which started popping up around the time of a watering, but I was also away for a few days and only got around to watering a few days after I had planned to. so I suspect that it might have been too dry which might have caused the EC in the medium to rise too much? No idea, let's carry on.

This strain had a very strange behaviour. It was the first to germinate, and at first had the fastest growth. But at the 3rd week she started flowering. I've done some LST, but after entering in flower, the plant stopped entirely to grow, and I was left with only 5 branches. On the other hand, now the colas are very big, the biggest I had ever grown. They are very thicc, sticky and dense. The smell it's very delicate, a lil minty I would describe it.

This was my very first indoor grow in my cupboard with my 1 strain Do-Si-Wine and the other 1 Sunset-Sherbet. Growing the Do-Si-Wine was very fun and this strain especially is also quite tricky to LST because during the Vegetation the plant grows long and slinky, because of this I experienced a snap on week 6. (Here are my notes of the 6th Week) 30th September 2020 ( 11cm in height ) The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very beautiful grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds. (Notes Done) So when I harvested on the 29 December 2020 (Week 19) I have definitely learned a lot about this strain, this strain is extremely exotic and is impossible to find and growing this strain was such a blessing as well being able to smoke top shelf exotic weed straight out of your Cupboard

Finally my last harvest of this season and i have to say, Mac finished it like the queen she is.😎👌 No, her yield was not the biggest (she was in 6.5L pot so ..) but the taste is just exquisite! its sweet and earthy .. and the effects are very balanced 👍 Its a hybrid but feel i can still take a nap after a big vape (i tested her yesterday afternoon as well)..so i think indica is the dominat one here.. not sure though.. could also just b i vaped too much (or used too much THC oil yesterday😉 ) Buds are very compact and frosty... am very happy with this lady.. beautiful flowers she had with all kinds of soft violet and pink colours.. I had to harvest a bit early bc weather was getting very bad and my greenhouse/safehouse was kaput..(note 2 self: buy new cover!) But that only resulted in me throwing the lower buds away (another note 2 self: next year, do some HST!) I can def. recommend her, a beautiful plant to grow and so smooth to vape! She did great in my lil'garden in Amsterdam with very few sunrays and lots of rain (yeah but i am content. for amsterdam standards it was great👊) Luckily no caterpillers or WPM this year .. (butterflies knew they where NOT welcome here, with all the demons in my garden 😁.. see diaries of my big demons😉) The end of summer was real smooth as well, she was able to be in garden till middle of september!🙌 So time 2 hibernate.. Its good bc i need it, think most of u know by now that i am batling MS and grow Cannabis for my medicine (there is none for MS and i cant handle the pain medication..) and to say it short, it has been..f hard this summer.. I did my diaries for whole summer long anyways, despite the hardships. ..i need 2 recover...(Luckily i grew a lot of medicine ..so winter will b xtra chill😸👍) Thank you to the select few that supported my work and understood my struggles. For that small group, I am eternally grateful.😚 U rock! cyall next year, growbretheren and sistren, but beware for the new shiny Hologram 2.0! ;p Happy growing4all✊ *wet weight: 107 gr + 15 gr sugarleaves and some small buds for making THC oil *germination: 03.07 Havest: 13.09 *dry weight: 31 gr + 10 ml THC oil (how 2 make THC oil: https://growdiaries.woodroom.tel/diaries/179107-grow-journal-by-hologram) *feeding schedule: water with nutes every other day (the other just water) https://dutch-passion.us/cannabis-seeds/auto-mac-1

A step back recently: Started a final flush (2 days in), and decided to start feeding her again - thanks to some great GD input! 250 ppm at re-start and will work my way to 500ppm? She's still rockin' along - like nothing happened. She topped out at 350 ppm without tanking PH, so she is stable here. PH is now swinging down fairly quickly last 12 hours. Drained off 1/3 of reservoir and get reservoir down to 250PPM. 5 days later, major PH swings down again. Mixed another fresh reservoir. I am using Zero Water 5 gallon system, and just realized the PPM coming out was 100, and PH at 3! If I am at 100 today, that means these filters have been shot for a while, maybe since start of my PH issue. There is also interesting information about when zero water filters reach their expectancy. They put out fishy smell and otherwise. I will be watching my filters more often and taking more notes since this ZeroWater 5 gal system is really the way to go if you are only growing a plant or two. Filters are a bit spendy but when you take time, gas, convenience etc. its a no brainer (if the water coming out is zero:) - I get about 15 gallons per filter (175ppm from tap). Day 70. It’s been about a day since new res change. Steady Eddie at 250 ppm and 6.2. I’ll let her drink the bucket down a good ways if things remain stable with a drift down. I doubt it though, 5 gallon is fine for 12” autos but at 2’ she really needed 8 gal. Time to up the R&D on the cabinet! Also checked Zero Water again and filter is now putting out 200ppm of 3.0 water. New filters installed! Hope she finishes soon, the top of her canopy slowly getting cooked over the last 10 days. 8" of light distance is too little. PPFD 2000+ at the top, but leaf temps are in the upper 70's. Gotta hit a decent DLI on these lower buds - without nuking the top nugs, right?! As the week concludes, she’s in a fresh bath, at 250ppm @ 6.0 and running stable again. New water filters installed so zero water variable removed. Last serving of half+ teaspoon of GH dry KB ripening, and will reduce ppm by 25/day until I reach 10-15%. 1-2 day flush, if at all.

Stretchy mguee over here... stems have yet to harden to my liking, removed all lowers and supercropped to see if that helps. Girls are looking stunning, first round with the cropsalt nothing else PH 5.8, no fluctuations, DTW. It been a slow transition to flower but this could also be due to flippin’ early, in a weeks time when I see more pistils and flower development I’ll be switching over to Bloom nutes. Temps/RH are on point 80/60 has been my range for this one. Stay Safe Stay Fresh GHL

The roots are still looking great. I cleared the old water out and only put 2 gallons in and not the 4.5 I was putting in previous weeks. Starting to get a weak smell from the plant.
