10/20/2021 - Day 32 - finally some pistils popping. Time to move all these girls to flower nutes. Got a lady bug named Senua to kill all the thrips. It is her sacrifice. 10/25/2021 - Day 37 - she’s finally stretching a bit. Was really crowded for a little bit there. Thrips seemed to have disappeared. Will do a defoliation in a few weeks.

Both Growing amazing. Did a full defoliation on all big leaves on the fruit spirit. The 3 G looks dangerous!!

In all this was a terrible harvest, and because I also do videos for my YouTube channel I don't update on Grow diaries properly which I will start doing with future grows.... Well on my next harvest will definitely do a better job of documenting my harvest details. But in regards to the Dark Phoenix, yeah not a strain I'm a fan off. At first I kept telling myself that I done a terrible job that's why i don't like it... But I need to keep in mind that I'm not going to like all strains, all strains are different and we all have different preferences. Some people might like the Dark Phoenix, me personally I'm not a fan. It has that earthy taste to it... Hashy/kushy...... Smoking it as I'm typing that's why 😅 and even with a longer cure I doubt it would make much of a difference to make me like it. But in all still a nice smoke, good high from her, the high hits you straight away and keeps you active and creative.... Don't know what else to say about her really, just trying to give you guys the best most accurate review that I can without bringing my own personal thoughts about the strain. I might not like it but its still a good smoke. 👍🏾😎

The plant's buds are showing more pistils, and the aroma has become quite fragrant, a creamy scent. Trichomes are now visible on the leaves. There hasn't been any significant increase in fertilizer this week; I've only doubled the amount of fermented banana peel liquid. I also did some foliar feeding with a light spray of fermented banana peel liquid. The daytime temperatures are very hot, and the humidity is low. I've noticed a few whiteflies, but the plant's strength is good, so it's not a major issue. Airflow is also good, being outdoors. The UV index has been between 7 and 8 this week.

Any advice on moving these or keep them all in square base?? The two females are random seeds, along with the ones in the ground. Can anyone tell if the ones in the ground are likely to be male or female? The two small ones in the video are fastbuds stardawg auto and grapefruit autos..

Was an easy grow, took lst and defoliation well. Only took 70 days from seed to harvest with roughly 10-15% amber trichomes. In the last couple of weeks of flowering she absolutely stank! And she got frostier by the day, if you rub a fan leaf and smell your fingers you get a sweet mango at first then rub a bit more and you get more fruits, citrus and maybe berries 🤤 I really can’t wait to smoke some, I hope she tastes as well as she smells. I’ve made up a dry box with a computer fan stuck in the side at the top and draw vents in the sides at the bottom covered with filter. Humidity is around 54% and temp at 20°c currently in the box, all sealed for 5 days. After opening the box on day 5 I closed it up for another two days as it wasn’t quite ready. Trimmed up after 7 days of drying and I’ve been left with 64.09g of good bud and 7.61g of fluff and a lot of trim! After a couple of days in a jar the humidity is at 59%.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. here we are Guys, 11th week, 6th into flower, the girl is recovering nicely. she started to put some size buds and pistils are started back to grow white. the Led is working perfectly and the buds are really frosty as fuck. I hope she will still give me some nice weight even with the past big mistake. UPDATE: she's definitely recovering fast. at day 82 the buds are swelling, I apologise for all the colors shades but i changed lights in order to get the best shots.

8 week We have 12 strong plants and one skinny one. They start drinking more then 1.5 l with one application of water. Smells really sweetly and fruity. I really love it!

This week or a bit more was absolutely fucked up. Heavy rain and cold strong winds every day, but it is getting better now. Plants keep growing taller, except for White Whidow, which is the only one whos flowering well at the moment.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and happy father's day to all the dads. The Strawberry Banana is almost done stacking and almost heading to the ripening phase. I did raise her up on a 10 inch milk crate last week to ensure all plants have an even canopy. She is really starting to smell very strong, I definitely smell both strawberry and banana's on my fingers after working with her. currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear they sell a timer that does this but it does cost 0. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old.
