This was the girls last week! I decided to call them finished on day 63 the tricomes are almost all cloudy, with a small amount of amber. I’ve learned that they continue to degrade as you dry and cure your flower, so I’m trying something new for me, and pull them a little earlier than I usually would. In addition, after watching a podcast (Dude Grows Show) if you don’t know, check it out… I decided to run the lights for 18 hours instead of 12/12 for the last 5 days before harvest. The idea behind this, is to stress the plant enough to increase its natural sunblock/protections, which would be terpenes and tricomes just before you harvest, while also possibly quickening the finishing time for your plant. The group was discussing the benefits of this (listed above) while some already had implemented these practices when finishing plants. The recommended time to run extra light time would be around the last 5-9 days of the plant, without having any nanners or weirdness happening with your plants. Howdy growfessors! Another week has come and gone with the outdoors grow. The ladies took a bit of a beating from the tail end of tropical storm Ida. Going to build a partial greenhouse roof to help keep the rain off them, which will hopefully lower the chances for mould.

First week of veg ! First true 🌿 😁 Just Moved too the vegging room.

This week I’m introducing my plant stands. It is a carousel design. They are lightweight, independent and can be put on/removed during growth with little effort or at the time of setup. I’ve had this idea for years, tried to find anything similar to it on line without success. I designed and assembled it about 2 years ago. It’s very versatile, can be modified for various uses and sizes, allows you 360 degrees access to you plant by rotation, brings you the ability to grow in a sea of green environment. Netting can be any size you desire and rotates with the plant. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Please take a look at my video this week that explains more. **The one on the plant now is actually designed for a 5 gallon bucket, I’ve simply modified it to work on this 2 gal bucket temporarily. This week she continues to outperform expectations and needed bracing because the weight of the flowers tipped her over. This was expected and remedied and all branches have now been spaced apart to allow bright lighting to penetrate deep into the plant. This is needed to mature out the lower buds. In another week I will cut back some more of the bigger leafs to allow even more light to get through. She continues to focus her energy on bud and trichome development (girth). The nutrient schedule has been updated as she is headed toward a late bloom cycle. Her smell is intensifying weekly. Maintain light power at 100% and PH at 6.24 I would highly recommend doing your own research on the blooming cycle. The change in nutrients is still controversial, but there is new and relevant studies that show of the main 3 NPK - K potassium was thought to boost flower production, the fact is this need on the plant remains relatively unchanged from vegetation through transition up to ripening. I continue to increase K in my schedule, but have started cutting back over this past year - up to 1/3 - without any noticeable difference. I have more that lends credibility to this theory I’ll explain next week. The case of bigger bud doesn’t mean anything special unless genetics and growth are in synergy. A quick note: I use General Hydroponics for nutrients and not this other one that is being listed, Terra Aquatica. I have no control over this update within Grow Diaries.

On the first day of week 4 I did topping on the plant at 6 node. Up to this point the plant has been growing very strong and healthy as fast as Autos I have grow before. Day 22 the plant doesn't seem stressed out at all and in fact is pumping New Growth right away I thought it was going to be sad for a day or two but no way the genetics are very strong the plant is very vigorous also their leaves are starting to smell . Day 24 I did some minor defoliation to allow the light to penetrate everywhere in the plant. I will continue to update thank you for reading and have a happy grow.

The lady has developed wonderfully 😊. The buds keep getting thicker and smell better :-). This week I added 1 g GHSC enhancer per l Coco. in total it was poured twice with 1.2 l each time. Fresh osmosis water was prepared and filled into canisters. The tent was completely cleaned and each plant was checked individually under the magnifying glass. Otherwise a few little things were done like yellow boards against sciarid mosquitoes and blue boards to prevent tripods. have fun with the update. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. the girl went to the tent on the 69th, they predict very bad weather, which would probably cause her to rot, I will try to finish the growth in the tent, she has 14 days left and will be cut, I am going on vacation, so I am forced to do it a little earlier... In general, the girl is very it's healthy, it barely fit in the tent, so a fair amount of leaves were stuck to the edges of the tent, I've never seen anything like it, that people carry from nature to the tent - and not from it to nature :D it will be interesting to see how it all ends :) good luck:)
