Plants looking good, stretching 2-3 cm a day now. As mentioned last week, did increase the EC slightly, same ratio, keeping this for the next ~8 days, until stretch slows done and buds start to grow in size. DLI now at 31 will raise it to ~35 in the next 8 days. Last day of this week, removed all leafs below the ScrOG net, set LED to 80% and DLI to 42. Changed fertilization frequency to 5 times per day.

Happy enough with it we see how she’s smoking and how much she’s weighting.

Garage grow SoCal. Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to develop and gain weight. Trichomes are coming along. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. Hey Growfam! Week 10 is over and there's not much going on since the flush on day 60. They got some more plain water with ph6.3 but not much. Afghan Skunk 1 Harvested on day 63 and is hanging to dry in one piece. Waiting for the other Afghan Skunk to mature before posting the harvest pictures of both. Afghan Skunk 2 This lady really is in no hurry to finish! Trichomes are half clear half cloudy... She faded a lot during the last week and is also getting those reddish/violet hues, like AS1. Somango Glue 1 More than ready for the chop. All trychomes are cloudy with some amber. Will take her down tomorrow or so. Somango Glue 2 Also pretty much ready for harvest, although not as mature as I like. Trichomes are mostly cloudy with just a few turning amber. These 3 remaining girls all have to go down soon. Maybe I'll harvest both Somango Glue tomorrow and leave the other Afghan Skunk standing in the dark for a day or two before taking her down as well. That way I can use the tent for drying whilst giving the other plant a little more time to mature. Probably this won't make much difference lol 😅 But I definitely need the tent to dry - Afghan Skunk 1 has been stinking up my place proper!! Thanks for looking! Happy growing! Deelicious

They are all showing sex and doing really well. Hoping with what we learned in our first grow that these three ladies end up with nice big firm buds. Based on their structure thus far I think these ladies have real promise.

Week 4 seemed a bit slow at first, but i also realised that I wasn't treating coco appropriately, I should feed nutrients every time I water and control the ph and ppm better. By the end of week 4 I got a water quality tester and am now able to properly take my ph down and monitor ppm so my plants don't get nutrient burned, but still gets enough nutrients in time. I also allowed good amount of the top layer of my coco to dry because I mixed up advice that received about soil and coco together. Apparently coco has no issues with overwatering unless your pots have no drainage so in the last 2 days I started treating coco the way it's supposed to be treated, I also finally got calmag and my plants are showing good signs of health past 3 days, they look revitalised and happy again 😊 Unfortunately, apple fritter was way too sick for me to continue with it so I restarted it in a proper coco and perlite mix that's non fertilised, that's a separate diary because its a whole month later. I decided not to train the first 2 plants just to see how the natural process is supposed to go.

Welcome to my Sour Strawberry scrog diary, sponsored by SPIDER-FARMER & Barneysfarm. Days 22-35 weeks 3-4 off veg Veg Days 12&13 25&26(seedling stage was done in germination week) Both plants had difficult with a bad PH imbalance that hit my plants across the board. All suffered from 2x Terpinator & Pure Zym PH 4.5 feeds. Lessons learnt you get no 2nd chances growing co2. A light def can be a serious looking one a few hrs later even though fix was applied. Growth can't keep up with uptake. So Foliar sprays I've been using a lot in these grows. It helps with the fixes much quicker. I've started training the plant and moving things to spread it out. I reckon if I flipped her after the stretch I'd fill 60-70% of the net. So, it needs a few more weeks in veg. I have done a lot of fresh toppings. So, they'll need a few weeks of growth and training and fixing to the net. All nodes are in the strip process so it'll help fatten up the stems as if there's too much growth below the main tops and if left late (stripping them late) you'll end up with weak stems, so the stripping needs to be done, and then you need to train your nodes/shoots you want to focus on growing your colas. Any input is welcome this is my 1st scrog. I used 2 seeds 2 different phenos, 1 is a lot taller, big mistake. Itll take time, lots of training and she's gonna look awful for the next few weeks but, their will be a method to the madness. I'll flip when I see 60/70% of the net filled either by attached to the net or trained so that'll it sit under where the stretch will go when flipped. Giving me 85-95% of coverage. Again, this is my 1st scrog so any input is welcome.. SCROG / DEFOLIATION / LST / NODE STRIPPING Only started in the 2 week of this update. Through a pro scrog frame over her. As this will be the easiest way to deal with it in my 1m2 tent. It will take up a lot of space for just 2 plants. But, I'm planning on doing a long one, or at least until I get it right so it'll be a proper scrog with an even canopy. I stripped the nodes to premote them to grow some mass i did semi removal of shoots that are deep into the canopy. Didn't wanna do to much stress that and she'll still need a lot of that growth to get her to grow out. Next wk I'll readjust and start pulling her in areas needed. 1 pheno is much shorter. So, I'm thinking I'll just train her so she at least gets right underneath the net, and then when i flip it'll help reach the net. But, them areas will need lots of growth, and I'll have to weave the bugger one abs pull her nodes down and maybe lollipop her a lil more so there'll be an even canopy. Week start PAR 540 PPFD Week end PAR 570 PPFD After week 3 of flower the plants don't need to grow more roots, so therefor I stopped giving them Plagron Power Roots and Plagron Pure Zym since there is no use for it anymore; but they did their jobs very well.. my plants flourished on it and I didn't even had one dead leaf. I also defoliated again and lollypopped everything from the ScrOG net down to the AirPot's. Did some supercropping on about eight flowers to keep stretching under control and the canopy more even. Also placed a 2nd ScrOG net to arrange the branches and to support them later in flower.
