Seed sprouted and all going well so far.

Not much to say right now, will update in about two weeks with the dry bud weight and the taste/smell/smoke profile. I'm hoping this strain is as tasty and potent as the smell, stickiness presents itself to be. Update June 19, 55 grams on the scale. Very impressed with the hardness and density of the buds. They are pretty sticky too! The smoke is okay, but not great tasting and gets harsh towards the end of the joint. For people that like to make extracts, rosin, etc, this strain might be right up your alley.

WEEK 6 and i am as impatient as i could be. Battling the temps by having dehumidifier running with heat 👽👉 17/11 Waterday* They got same feed as last time, but giving a bit more volume now 👽👉 18/11 Christmas coming early, frosty times 👽👉 19/11 I had some buds that got too heavy and fell over, Fixed with some natural thread to hold them up 👽👉 20/11 Close to getting another SCROG to hold them up, but i think its time for harvest soon

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. 73 Day 10 Weeks to Harvest

1-2-2022 A solution has been found and implemented. A simple quick project that cost little and not much time to make. Works very well. She is responding to her new environment and soon she will be into her new home in true Aeroponic spray only fashion.

One last week and chop chop. Strawberry n cream really looks like it could go another few weeks but I’m done lol. They all smell amazing!!!

Hey 👋 I missed to upload week 3. In week 4 I tooped the gorilla zkittlez and FIM the wedding glue. The plants recover fast and nice. I didn't know what to look for to see in the fiming proces but the plant looking good and width. I don't know if I should make another FIM or top to them. One time is enough? They'll start flowering soon.

She’s taking her sweet time now! I found a nanner and pulled it off, but I have to keep an eye out. You can see from the trichome shots that she is not ready yet... thinking maybe 1-2 more weeks—-hoping for sooner. Going to start a flush because of the leaf yellowing. Otherwise, she’s moving along! ✌️🏻💚🌿💨

📆 Semana 4: Primeros Pistilos Las Auto Pablo Escobar inician floración. 🌸 Los primeros pistilos blancos ya asoman en los nudos, mientras el crecimiento vertical sigue controlado, con ese porte sativo elegante. Esta semana arranca el plan de floración: 🔹 Master Bloom como base 🔹 Sugar Shot para azúcares y resina 🔹 Enzymes para mantener las raíces limpias 🔹 Silica Force para reforzar tallos y defensa Se mantiene unos días más el Master Root como apoyo radicular. Riegos ligeramente más frecuentes, sin encharcar. Clima estable, luz generosa y sin estrés: el entorno perfecto para esta nueva etapa. Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Day 52-64 (Day 54) I’m going to thoroughly inspect each plant and remove bananas if found. So far it’s only been the one on #7 but I don’t want to take a chance. I’m also going to give a watering with some runoff. (Day 55) Can’t find anymore bananas but that one. I will probably find a few bag seeds but who knows. It’s way too late for pollen to really have effect anyway. These 5 plants finish nice and early compared to my other tent flipped on the same day. I would never take this strain 65+ days like last time. I would do 56-60 days next time I flower this strain (Day 58) Holy shit this tent is fading like crazy now. They are starting to show some beautiful autumn colors. #1 #5 and #7 are definitely done. #3 and #6 could use a little more time so I’ve decided to take them down on the 24th. I haven’t seen anymore bananas and the one that popped out on #7 has shriveled up and receded. (Day 63) I’m seeing what look like seed pods starting to form in some of the main colas on my picture perfect pheno. #7 is showing 3 or 4 little bananas too. All of the top buds are definitely done so I’m going to harvest as soon as the lights come on tomorrow. I’m going to give one last watering right now and then harvest. I’ve noticed that harvesting a watered plant will extend the dry time by a few days and that’s exactly what I’m looking for. A nice slow dry. Plants are being full plant hung + dry trimmed and tent is being kept at 60-65 degrees and 60-65% RH. Cutting everything down was a pain in the ass. I had to individually cut each square the scrog net so it wouldn’t contract and squish all the buds. I chopped down my other tent as well so I have no other plants in flower right now.

We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.
