Day 69 (March 6th) Just gave everyone their last watering. I’m going to harvest and wash everything tomorrow night on day 70. I‘m not going to do that whole 48 hours of darkness thing because I didn’t see a difference last time I did it. In fact, it made my plant under watered before drying which caused it to dry too fast. Slurricane and cheese will be washed with h2o2 and the rest will just be rinsed off in warm RO water and hung up. Before and after washing I’m going to go over each branch with a flashlight and make sure there is no dog hair or debris in or on the buds. I will be drying in my spare bathroom (that no one uses!) from hangers. Aiming to keep it around 60-62F and 50-60 RH. Hoping for that 10-12 day dry. I wanted to do a full plant hang but the tent got pretty dirty and I would feel more comfortable just cutting and rinsing everything off branch by branch. I’m going to try my best to keep the full plant intact. Got my humidifier hooked up and running RO water because with tap water it deposits calcium and lime all over the buds and walls. For air flow I’m just indirectly running a small usb fan. I’m not worried about air flow in the bathroom honestly. It stays nice and breezy down there anyway. Got the food grade peroxide and RO water to wash up the slurricane and cheese. Everything except for the cheese and garlic#1 is looking more than done. Trichomes all look pretty well done. Some of them have even burst open. Smells are all super ripe and mature too. Can’t wait to smell each individually in jars. Next week I will recap what went wrong and what I will do differently next time to keep it from happening again. (Day 70F) Just got everything chopped, washed and hanging. The vast majority of the PM was washed out but I can still see very small amounts. When they dry out I can shake the branches a bit to get the rest off. At very least it’s sterile now. There is no question I lost some potency while washing but the amount is negligible for a much cleaner product. I could see lots of dirt and other debris float to the surface of the water after being washed. And no those are not trichomes, those sink to the bottom. I could put that nasty water through a bubble bag and wouldn’t get all that much. Although it probably does remove a lot of the actual trichomes heads. I’ll have to check with the microscope. Everything is rigged up for a nice slow dry. Temp is sitting at 64 and RH is at a nice 60%.

Cherry is quickly making me forget all about the tragic death of her sister. She is really bulking up and starting to really put on the frost even some fan leaves are starting to become frosty. She may have started slow but MAN is she making up for it now.

This week the girls kind of blew up a bit, and I've added a second trellis. I've stopped trying to fight the higher temperatures and am instead aiming to increase Humidity to make up for the extra perspiration, so far it's working well, though, the plants are drinking a lot more. (11/04-11/10) First Week Notes & Observations: One week old, not much to report to report other than the first plant is smaller than the second at the start of the week. Removed the domes as the humidity in the tent is set pretty high and think it should be fine. RH this week was monitored for 80% Temps were monitored for 78F daytime and 68-70F overnight. Lights were adjusted to provide 280ppfd on plant 1 and 270ppfd plant 2 - that is also the max for this week. It's an increase from 150 last week. Feed & Monitor: Day 11 - both plants were fed about .80 gallons of 5.8ph de-chlorinated tap water for runoff. Both plants produced .25 gallons of 6.7ph and 1980/1950ppm runoff measured with 2 ph pens that were tested&calibrated first. Plant 1 top soil test after feed was avg 6.62 and plant 2 avg 6.85 both plants were tested 3 times on top soil. Made a video of plants.... not sure what is expected here, but think it will just be for fan movements and free music. Watered for the last time on Thursday going to have them dry out in their pots for 3 days and them chop them down I'm thinking probably on Sunday. Also have been using ice and cold water to flush pretty happy with the colors and trichome production. After completing week 14 successfully the plants are going to be harvested tomorrow Sunday the 23rd, the first day of Week 15/Week 10 of flower. This grow has been really awesome and a great first experience at growing, I'm so far pleased with how the buds have turned out, they are very dense and the smell is a strong berry vanilla fragrance that smells delicious. Buds have a decent amount of trichomes on them they foxtailed a little bit due to higher temps in flower but so far so good onto drying and curing now cross your fingers that goes well I do wish I was able to bring out a bit more color in the buds though.

12/01/2021 FIMed all plans a second time, and also FIMed the tips of the other main branches of all plants. They will get another dose of Recharge with their next feeding tomorrow. 12/04/2021 I fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. 12/05/2021 I gave all the girls a second major defoliation. I plan to switch to 12/12 flower cycle this Tuesday evening. 12/06/2021 I removed a few leaves and fed two gallons of water with the nutrients listed above. These girls are doing excellent. They have responded very well to the major defoliation that they received. I will flip them to the 12/12 flower cycle in a day or two I believe. I uploaded a couple of pictures of the strains I plan to grow in the future, which is mostly Humboldt Seed Company genetics.

wow, they are really bulking up. the strawberry/gorilla is a big baby! If you the slightest bit late for water, it goes into full wilt mode. looks completely dead. i did a flush this week with only 4ml per gal of signal.

Pretty slow week... no added nutrients or changes. Sticking with a light watering every few days or so. Other than that, just admiring and watching them- letting them do their thing :)

Week 9 (Week 1 of flowering) has been a jaw-dropping experience in my Tropical Tangie Ninja Run. Our girl is absolutely killing it! Her luscious green foliage is a sight to behold, and my Lego Ninja buddies are always on point, making sure everything is in order. The excitement escalated as I spotted those little preflowers showing up towards the end of the week. I have a strong hunch that she's going to turn into a flowering monster during the first two weeks! <3 <3 <3 To support this explosive flowering growth, I made some savvy moves in my nutrient game. I decided to switch from my root booster to the fruit booster. Why, you ask? Well, my Tangie is transitioning her focus from root development to bud production. So, it's like shifting gears to give her exactly what she needs to create those magnificent flowers! But that's not all. I also added some P-booster to my nutrient mix. You might wonder why? It's because this little ninja booster is packed with phosphorus, the secret ingredient that stimulates robust flower formation. We want those buds to be big, dense, and super potent! <3 <3 With a canopy as lush as this, I'm already contemplating a potential defoliation around day 21 of flowering. It's like planning my ninja strategy in advance! But let's keep that for the next update hehe. As for her TDS numbers, they might not seem massive at 230, but remember, I'm using those amazing Aptus All-in-One Pellets mixed with the soil. Her main NPK is already packed in there, and these boosters are just giving her that extra ninja kick! With room temperatures at 28.9°C and a humidity level of 62%, the conditions are perfect for our Tangie to thrive. I can't contain my excitement for this epic ninja run! Unfortunately, I had to correct the first week of flowering as the last week of the growth phase because I didn't reset my timer and the lamp therefore ran at 18/6 for another 5 days Some plants are a little lighter, some are a little darker, they all received about the same water I'm assuming it's phenos Otherwise they look really good and grow into the net.
