The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.

Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I don’t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesn’t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasn’t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! Hello fellow grower Starting directly under the Mars Hydro FC6500, seedlings are doing very well (see inputs for distance). The dimming is at maximum power. The light footprint might be a bit oversized for only 20 cups. Technically, for a commercial crop you can stick 1.2 sq. meter of seedlings without any problems. _________________________________________________ Barney’s Farm seeds are as usual, very vigorous ! All the seeds germinated in 24h to 48h. Auch die zweite Kabul ist bald soweit geerntet zu werden. Jetzt wird mit reinem Wasser gegossen, damit die Pflanze die restlichen Nährstoffe verbrauchen kann. Diese Woche noch und dann wird die Tanne höchstwahrscheinlich gerodet. Aber lecker wird die bestimmt! Late to update this week. Was out of town and finally I found some time to update. I started giving them a healthy dose of KoolBloom to start finish this grow off. Temperature is getting higher and I wish I started these girls 2 weeks earlier, but hindsight is 420. I think these should be ready by week 9, so i’ll be looking at those trichomes at this stage of the grow. I like mine cloudy. What do you all prefer?

7/17 just feeding once a week. added worm castings and took a clone

No res change right now, still working with a fresh res. Low PPM, pH is dropping, leaves are turning crisp. Added some H202 today. They slowed water uptake, nutrient uptake, have had some heat spikes with weather and 3rd light, turned down 3rd light to about 80% power.

Using Trimzilla for the 1st time very excited to see how quick it speeds up the process

A lot of spreading this week. They basically doubled in size if not more and are now starting to grow up. Due to this incredible growth I've cut some leaves of the bottom; they've just gotten over grown by other leaves and the top to let more light in.

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and gave her two gallons of water with 5ML of MagiCal and 80ML of Sugardaddy per the Technaflora feed chart. She’ll get two doses of that and then straight pH’d water till the end. Day 80 - Nothing to update today other than she’s showing a bunch of gorgeous reds pistils mixed in with the yellow and oranges. She’s still got another couple days, I think, until she’s ready for some water. Day 82 - She was ready for water today, so gave her two gallons of water with her final feeding of MagiCal and Sugardaddy. It’ll just be straight pH’d water until harvest and thinking about 7-10 days or so. Day 83 - Just waiting for her to be ready to chop and she’s finally starting to fade out a bit, 7-10ish days left. Day 84 - The end of week 12 and she’s really starting to fade so don’t think she’s got too much longer, another week or so. Not showing a whole bunch of amber trichs but a few so hopefully she’ll finish off strong.

The flushing phase is on, time to get rid of the rest of those nutrients that got locked up in the plant system, this step will affect almost 60% of the end result bud quality and taste along side with curing and drying properly the buds. The plant will remains in darkness until i harvest to slow the degradation of thc to cbn and to squeeze the most out of thoses resin glands that activates the most at night . Beside a bit of foxtailing due to the heat differences caused by the addition of 3 cfl buld, the buds are looking great
