Week 6 of flower and now I have ugly plants wtf??!!! Calcium deficiency?!!!

She continues to show good growth. I had to do some more defoliation this week to remove the bigger fan leaves...again. She's showing good bud formation and I am enjoying watching her grow. She is nice therapy after my heart attack. Growing relaxes me and gives me almost as much relief as the medicine I am growing.

The photoperiodic Tangerine Dream has flowered super fast and efficiently, it is full of resin and has hard flowers, very hard I dare say like never before or almost. The flower density is at the highest levels really. It's mostly sativa but just 60/40 so guys if we want to keep a more sativa effect we must harvest with a majority of cloudy/milky trichomes if we want a more indica effect, remembering that the thc oxidizes going too far, amber is your color. I do day use and therefore I look for more of the sativa effect when the plant is sativa. D50. The start of the second week of flower, and all is well in the tent. The girls stretched quite a bit in the first week, and I'm curious how much they will stretch this week. I did some additional defoliation, removing leaves and branches that didn't make it above the scrog. ------------------------------ D51. The first girl shows early signs of a deficiency, which I suspect is a lack of magnesium. I guess the recent stretch is the cause, but I think the stretch is slowing down. I gave each girl 2.5 liters of water with 1.5 teaspoons of Epsom salt and a foliar spray with Epsom salt. That should hopefully take care of any lack of magnesium. I also calibrated my Hygrometer since I've noticed lately that it seemed a bit off. Sure enough, it was off by 7.9%. ------------------------------ D54. The tent is blowing up! The girls look great, and the first buds have started forming. However, they have more than tripled in size in almost two weeks, and I'm slowly running out of room in the tent. I've raised the lights as far as they go, and I hope that will be sufficient as I'm going out of town for a week, and the girls will be left to their own devices. The chlorosis hasn't spread, so I think the Epsom salt helped. Other than that, there's not much to report. ------------------------------

These are doing pretty damn good for the most part. I figured out with the green buzz the only thing in bloom that raises ppm is the base bloom and the more PK which is good to know. Also been using lower ppm for the autos and they seem healthier than usual. These pics and the video were taken on Day 36.

I made a lot of mistakes, but 100gr harvest. Light power was 120W. I'm not satisfied with my work. I will start the next try 😜

I gave the girls an organic compost tea for nutrients(1 tsp Blk molasses,1cup worm cast,2 tablespoon kelp,2 tablespoon alfalfa meal,1tablespoon bat guano) and lsted again to get more bushier autos. I also moved my smallest autoflower to my 4x4 tent which is on a 12/12 schedule on 3/18/23

Growing Great

Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

------------------------ HARVEST 1: ------------------------ Harvested this girl because she stopped eating and was drinking less water, and the weird flowers, so she was finishing, and im looking for something psycoactive, so the trichs are cloudy too... I expected less flowers, but there are some material behind leaves. The smoke is really nice flavored, and it hits you with psychoactivity. Despite the production and weird buds it is really tasty and gets you in a really nice sativa mood. The flavor would be like: An apple with Gasoline touches (i suppose its because of the Sour Diesel heritage) 15 gr. ------------------------ HARVEST 2: ------------------------ This plant was harvested in the optimal point to me, with cloudy trichs and a nice production. She really added weigth in the last weeks. The smell is really like the original Lemon, has deep citrous notes. Taste is very good, more powerful than the smell(Will complete this in a couple months when properly cured in jars). I like the psychoactivity, its a nice day smoke, and a tasty one. Overall a very good plant, i love the therpene profile (citrous/fruity), it is so refreshing when you smell the citrous flavour. 90 gr.

Update the to a 4x8 this week and added a HLG 300 V2 RSpec with the futur vert FM8 flora max 660watts pumping 960 watts now .. Every thing is stacking up an fattening up beautiful in week 4 , The frost is coming out like a snow storm now in to week 5 flower ... I’m very impressed with the bud size on the slurricane ix this early on !!

28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura) 05/05/2021 (Day 50) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, esta vez utilizando safe roots para limpiar todo el sistema hidroponico. 600w de Citizen a 30cm en 160x80 y la plantas parecieran que si les doy mas luz van a usarla, es increíble la tolerancia a la alta intensidad de ppfd que tienen, gracias a esto logramos subsanar esa semana de raíces marrones. La temperatura bajo drásticamente y nos dejó el indoor en unos 22 grados, donde todo marcha perfecto.

Start of week 5 for White Widow Shes still getting bushier & bushier! Its really making me debate whether to defoliate some more...but greenhouse told me not to? 😂 Ive sent them an update video so lets see if they change their mind. Still feeding her every day from the bottom.
