Plants are striving nicely..🤗

Another successful week plants aren't dead. Did some more defoliation this week to allow light to penetrate the smaller colas at the bottom of the canopy, still haven't found a feeding schedule that works for me, going to cut my feedings in half next week because I'm starting to see some minor nute burn on the leaf tips. Good week though I'm pleased with it onto week 10/week 5 of flower!

Day 33 - RH 52% Temp is 80F - Bushing out like crazy & growing strong! The double mainline seems to be bouncing back as well! So far very impressed with this strain😍👍🏼 Day 34 - RH 56% Temp is 79F - Decided to top the two bushy plants today, they also got fed today with PH about 6.3

It’s going well, I think it could be better though. I decided to decrease the part A nutes a bit because she didn’t like the extra nitrogen and increased part b to full strength. Her lower leaves are fading, although I’m not sure if this might be a bit of a magnesium deficiency. I hope she fattens up some more and produces more trichomes. Any advice is welcome!

Hello Growmies, We’re at week 15, and our Epic Buzz is showing some serious gains. The plant has been swelling so much that it's barely managing to hold itself up. An inspection reveals a coat of trichomes adorning the surface, with calyxes continuing to expand noticeably. It's as if each day brings a new level of plumpness to the buds, pushing the boundaries of what seemed possible just a week ago. From the images, we can observe the heavy load the stems are carrying. The top colas are thriving with density, their surfaces a landscape of rich, sticky trichomes, the kind that promise potency and depth. While the overall structure of the plant leans heavily, a testament to the weight it bears, there's an elegance to this droop, speaking to the fullness it's achieving. In terms of care, there's a significant change in our approach – no more PK 13/14. We've seen the best of what it can do, and now it's time to let pure, reverse osmosis water do the talking. This shift will ensure that we're not overloading the plant with nutrients and will help us to start the flushing process gently, easing into the final stages of flowering. The result of this can be seen in the leaves that are starting to yellow, a natural progression indicating that the plant is consuming the last of its nutrient reserves. Meanwhile, the roots, those unseen heroes, continue to draw up the necessary sustenance, fuelling this impressive final push. We’re now on the precipice of full maturity, where each day counts double. I'm keeping a close eye, ensuring the reservoir stays topped up every few days to keep her hydrated without causing undue stress. As we approach harvest, it's a balancing act of watchfulness and patience. The once-dominant aroma now fills the space with a subtler, sweeter scent – a prelude to the bounty that awaits. It’s day 43 of flower! All of the plants look great! I’m going to start dialing back the light intensity slowly over the next couple weeks. Harvest time is getting close

Partially drained the tank at the start of the week and topped up with ro water and 1ml of final solution per Litre. Last 2.5 days were in darkness. I trimmed the majority of fan leaves before hanging up to dry in the tent today. Started out trimming with the plants in the tent and soon realised it would be much easier to just cut them down whole, hang them upside down outside the tent and trim them up a bit. I have a small dehumidifier and a small fan heater setup in the tent and they have been keeping a humidity level of about 60% and a temp of 16 Celsius for the last few days while the lights have been off. I figure that's a good starting point for drying and I can increase the temperature if needed, that will drop the humidity also. Intake fan at the bottom and extract fan at the top are running constantly as they have been since the grow started (low power 4" fans). I might add back in a fan for circulation depending on how the drying goes, or maybe even trim or hang the plants better to get more airflow around the buds

I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.
