10/01: They are growing fine and seem happy. I plan to swap out the water, defoliate and switch the lights to 12/12 this weekend. I will be removing an hour of light each day leading up until the weekend.

I've added week 4 early so I can keep track of the nutrients bucket , I have decided too add full recomend dose of the humic acid and the more roots and have half dosed the organic veg feed , and the results from day one / first feed on green buzz nutrients too this photo today day 5 is dramatic , the photo of all four was before defoliation , but the defoliation has just shown how busy they have this week , Also a note on nutrients I learned a lesson this week , organic feeds do not store in a bucket of bubbles , I went too the bucket I made up 3 days ago and has been stored in a 20 ltr bucket with two large bubbler air stones in as I always have with no issues , But today the mixture had seporated I had like a skin on the top of the bucket , I mixed and mixed and mixed , ended up like a soup bits floating all other the place, So I suspect I will have too make up my bucket and only use the base nutrients and only add the additional addatives on the day of use , This is probably common sense too most growers but a first for me so lesson learned , So far the plants are liking what there drinking and I've had an amazing couple of weeks with temps peeking around 23.5c - 24.8c light cycle , so have really got this extraction side sorted with my recent fan and filter upgrade , I today turned the idle speed of my climate control too around 25c But all in all a really good week progress wise as you can see from week 4 photos of day one defoliation to today's photos day 6 of week 4 , the defoliation has really bought the BlackBerry kush alive from a droppy leaved sulking runt too now just 5 days later has become something very different , some say don't do it , some swear by it , I first time round didn't and the lower plant really suffered , for me by pulling off the big problem leaves or anything you know will grow into a problem early on , you get her that shock before the flower really starts too form giving her just enough time too recover before flower , but too be fair a good defoliation doesn't seem too faze fast buds strains , infact it seems too induce them too shoot out in all directions , Then giving me the chance too tigh down those side branches , and if I'm lucky enough even the main cola , my last blackberry that was an amazing plant , I managed too pull down the top stem under a net , and it gave me meany colas and all as silly thick as each other ,

Overall, everything seems to be going very well at the moment. The plants are growing faster than ever and the space on the sides is getting cramped. We still have plenty of space for them to stretch, but the upcoming week will probably be the last one in veg before we'll switch to 12/12. The roots of the plants already reached the bottom of their fabric pots. Topping: We decided to top the three largest plants (2x PCK, 1x Gelato). This was only done because we wanted the smaller gelato (top left) to catch up a little. I'm curious how that will work out. If all the plants had been the same size, we probably wouldn't have done it, because the space at the sides is already tight. Lamp distance: As the plants grew, we forgot to adjust the lamp distance until the distance was slightly below 30 cm. The upper leafs are currently looking a little stressed as a result, but it is not too bad. Right now the distance to the lamp is 50cm. Fungus Gnats: We added some sf-nematodes to the soil to get rid of fungus gnats. It is unclear where the gnats came from and it could be completely unrelated to the grow. However, we gave the nematodes to all plants so it does not become a bigger problem.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

Flipped my plants to flower as well so they are now on a 12/12 setting. Been using the medic grows mini sun 2's internal timer in the lights and they appear to be working just fine. They have pre-programmed setting of 12/16/18/20/22 "on" cycles, I thought it might have been hold the dial till the number you want came up but its not that fancy. As of now my photoperiod is from 1:30pm-1:30am but I might move this up to 12pm-12am so when I need to look at my plants I'm not waiting till the afternoon. Its really only an issue on the days I'm working. over all happy with the progress, Plants are drinking lots so I'm happy with that. Lights still running at 80% with V1 spectrum, will increase to 100% after stretch, don't need to growing into them and burning up.
