Week 16 Nothing really moved this week. It’s something like between low tide and high tide: not my favorite moment … waiting for blossoms and flowers 🙄🙏. Good point is that every plants are healthy ( except a parasite problem on Psicodelicia) and well prepared for flowering. For now it’s bad weather outside: 20 degrees max, with lot of wind and rain (cf video). The green house is the best option despite of less exposure. Morning soon I moved the plants outside to sprayed them with potassium soap (natural insecticide). I cleaned the grow space inside the greenhouse (didn’t touch spiderwebs…good insecticide too). I removed the automatic watering and get a few liters of rain water during this days. Watering 1L every 3 days -Calmag + Cannazym + Alga mic + Root booster -Flora Series: preflowering quantities. Daylight 14h30: 6h50/21h20 Blackberry Moonrocks is still healthy; no problem of deficiency or pests, diseases. This strain is resistant and vigorous: no more stretch, waiting for flowering.lot of blooming sites along the branches.

Ran out of room to raise my light more so i turned the intensity down from 80% to 69% giggity. The white hairs coming out of the buds stopped looking burnt and withered so I think my PPFD lower is better. My lame little dehumidifier is doing its best but these girls are moisture machines, transpiring like crazy. 58% RH is about as low as is possible. Many leaves have been removed to promote airflow and even light distribution as well as lower relative humidity. Lower larf has been removed without prejudice. The Jealousy would have been an unorganized massive bush without training and defoliation. It made so many bud sites. I love these genetics. When i do a trim the leaves smell so good on both plants. Fastbuds is the truth. Despite some minor mistakes and a few signs of suboptimal conditions these girls push on growing. Trust your insticts, listen to your girls! Each seedling has sprouted its initial set of leaves, and I’m seeing great promise in their vigor and resilience. Key Observations: • Color: The seedlings are a healthy green, with some displaying slight variances in shade—typical of unique genetics like Mentha de Croco. • Structure: Leaves are developing steadily, with short internodes (the space between sets of leaves) that hint at nice, compact growth patterns as they continue. • Energy: Each plant seems to be finding its rhythm, which is a beautiful thing to watch! Some are taking their time, while others are diving right into rapid growth. Nutrients & Supplements 💧 For this first week, I’m keeping it light on nutrients, letting the seedlings draw what they need from the Root Riots and the remaining seed stores. However, I’ve continued using Aptus Holland’s Regulator and Startbooster, both at 1ml/L, to support foundational growth. Why These Nutrients? • Aptus Regulator: Adds silicon to fortify cell walls, giving the seedlings extra strength to handle environmental changes. It’s growing pretty good. I’ve been debating on topping it or doing some LST on it 🤔

These are about a month old. I've no idea what they are as there from a long time ago and were mixed with a few varieties of autos and photoperiod. Hopefully they work out and are not Spanish sativa as that just gives me a headache after more than 0.25g in a day?? Anyone else ever have that? Powerplant does the same if I use more than 0.50g in a day. The only two strains that have that effect on me!

Plants started growing very fast. 20 hours light a day and 140 ml water for 2 plants so 35 ml each plant. (70ml -35ml one plant- morning, and 70ml -35ml one plant evening). From Monday I will start giving 200ml water 100ml in the morning and then the rest in the evening. Ventilation almost 24 hours, They are getting bushy and the color looks healthy green. I am excited. Purple Punch ( the right one) does not have the smell but the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe started smelling from the 3rd week, it is not strong, it is smooth, enjoyable. I still use trigger spray but I stopped triggering directly on the plant to avoid any fungee or toxicity, I just keep the soil moist. I surrounded them with kitchen foil around the lamp to have a more effective light. It reflects the light and the light goes everywhere. This step has been done because I have only the 60w LED each plant so I try to provide the maximum strength this way, and by keeping close distance also. The lamp is not hot so it ain't gonna burn the plant I had checked it before. I just purchased today a 600w LED because these plants look so good so I wanna provide the best circumstances for them. 4th-week 4th day I a just waiting for my delivery my 600 W grow LED light will come. From today I started watering with 50ml each plant 2 times a day so all together 200ml a day. Plus I always use trigger spray for the soil to be kept wet. They are looking better and better. Nice color and bushy appearance. Wonderful. I realized some holes on the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe's leaf but there is no insect I was checking. I do not really know the reason for that. Tonight I will set up the new 600 W LED so I am changing the current 120W. Big Step forward! It is not that easy that I thought, the lamp is great but the temperature raised up a lot, so needed to buy a fan also and the humidity went down. It is not easy to find the proper solution to be acceptable, good temperature and humidity at the same time. So I decided to program a 6/2 schedule, so 6 hours light on and the fan always with 15 min more, and 2 hours off so I do provide 18 hours light and 6 hours darkness but it is divided. The plants can rest after every six hours and use the energy they received. Last day of the 4th week, LST has been done with the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe, both are growing rapidly, let's see what the 5th week brings! End of he week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 25cm, Purple Punch is 20cm😇

13/11 - Watered with 2ml/L Soil A & B each, 0.5 grams of Kraken Roots 16/11 - Watered with 2ml/L Soil A & B each, 1.0 gram of Kraken Roots 18/11 - Watered with plain water - PH 6.2 - started LST 20/11 - Watered with 2ml/L Soil A & B each, 1.0 gram of Kraken Roots 13/11 - So far this week the plants are taking off - loads of growth under 20/4 lighting. Plant 3 in particular is growing super strong! 18/11 - Applied LST, wasnt sure if maybe it was too early? Seems to have quite a few nodes but my plants seem pretty short/compact. 20/11 - Plants went a little down hill since LST - removed the LST and watered them - found lights were ~50cm from the plants so moved to 61cm - reduced hours from 20/4 to 18/6.

Desde el momento uno fue fácil de cultivar, no tuve ningún problema en todo su desarrolló. Como planta supero todas mis expectativas, se encuentran densos y muy pegajosos los cocos. En algunos hay partes de color violeta/lila. Y por ultimo recomiendo mucho cultivar esta genética por lo sencillo que fue cultivarla y sus resultados finales, todo de diez.

Week 7 of flower in the books and we’ve had to adjust to the height issues in an attempt to salvage what we can of the largest mains on the cheese. Really should’ve done this 2 weeks ago and while it’d be preferable not to supercrop this late in flower - there really wasn’t a choice. It was done early in the week and the plant is none the worse for wear. On the whole, the nute burn issue has been rectified and while the damage isn’t massive, it’s still really obvious. For all the above reasons, We’re really not going to get that late flower look with this plant. Kinda sad there. Otherwise, the plants have begun to colour up and were quickly coming in to the harvest window. At this rate it looks like the gorilla cookies and cherry Bomb will go off first, with the cheese to follow and the lemon haze last. The GC is absolutely covered in trichs. We expect a great finish for this one. She’s unlike any pheno I’ve seen on here - ducksfooted with a pineapple shape to her heads but again, got it where it counts. The cherry Bomb is similar but also true to her description - huge cherry diesel scent coming off this plant. She’s chunky and sticky too so very pleased she’s made something of herself. The lemon haze is developing And rounding out slower. Trich production is moderate and I suspect she’s got a week longer than the rest. We’re getting there - maybe a week to 10 days. Almost time for jazz hands👍😎. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Got a 2nd alaskan purp thas goin weird in mr. Other then thst all lookin good. Buds comin in everywhere. Bringing out the tent fabric and ladybugs to make sure ee finish strong and disease/mold free 😁. Been waitin on the rain before i bring out the clear plastic but not sure if ill need it this year. Gotta love this michigan weather.

Well I decided to transplant this one as she was holding to much water in that smaller container and she wasn't liking the soil so much so I put her into a more balanced soil no nutrient additives . She will hopefully be doing better by the end of the week and if not I'll still keep plugging away at her and here's to the best cheers ...

This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. Defol again every day :D it started flowering
