Welcome back to Fat Yappa's ladies and gentlemen, its been another mad week in the garden. This week these girls have began to produce some serious quantities of bud sites, but the transition into flower has not been without its adversity to be conquered. Gone is the humidifier, and the battle with humidity has commenced. All of a sudden the three larger Banner ladies, together with their Wedding Cheesecake Fastbuds cousin in Coco Coir have levelled up from 2.5L per plant ever four days, to 2.5L every two days, which has increased the humidity substantially, and this week has mostly been a battle to get the RH down to 50% or below, which has meant the tent door has been open as much as situations have allowed for that, the grow tent heater has been turned off, and my central heating has been ramped back up to 21c in an endeavour to dry the air some what, and the room in which the grow tent is situated has seen the addition of an old but reasonable dehumidifier on loan from my parents. I have also had to put some further serious thought into air circulation, and the T6 has been ramped up to level 6 as a constant, the intake fan has been increased, and Ive lowered one of my 40w fans closer to canopy level. The other 40w fan is situated in the top back corner, opposite the carbon filter to try and prevent stale air from building up in there, and I did try and lower this one also, but the way I have it wired, the plug flex would only allow me to gain a couple of inches. Circulation has improved, but is still not ideal across the entire canopy and this has caused some anxiety in regard to humidity and mould etc. To counteract this, and now that bud sites are developing, gaining a clear vision of which fan leaves could be removed, there have been a few defoliation session this week. Nothing major, maybe a couple of handfuls off the the older Bruce Banners, yet compared to the Wedding Cheesecake in Coco, which stands at a whopping 28 inches, towering over everything else in the tent by almost a foot now, despite the LST, which is much less of a leafy specimen and has only lost a dying leaf or two. In terms of LST, I have continued to perform the technique two or three times a week on all the plants, yet have stopped on the four larger plants in the past few days as I fear their stems are becoming too rigid for it now, and to further add to this, there is literally no more space for them to go besides up. The Wedding Cheesecake in Coco is a concern, with it being so high above the rest of the canopy, but there is literally nowhere else to tie her down. I will continue on the smaller Wedding Cheesecake, growing in living soil, and the Bruce Banner runt for another week or so, which at the moment I would describe as being in pre flower, and seem to be about a week behind the other four, until I feel the same fears in regard to the technique damaging them. As hinted at above, space is becoming an issue, housing these six big autoflowers in a 4x4, and the five plants that were originally intended would have been more than adequate to fill the space, and things have become so tight in there that I have had to remove the intake fan and place it on the outside of the tent, but the increase in sound from this has left me dissatisfied with this as a permanent solution. The increase in intake and out take fans, and the edition of the noisy old dehumidifier has caused noise to become a slight issue, but I will be ordering a good, modern, efficient 20L dehumidifier tomorrow and hopefully this will aid significantly toward solving a number of this weeks issues. With most adequate timing, the click from the timer on the sf4000 signals lights out on another day in Fat Yappa's Garden, its time for me to zip these ladies up and tuck them in for the night, so I must bid you all farewell for another week, and wish that all is growing well for you too

Sour kush a,b, and c are all flowering pretty well critical purple a little bit behind it’s crazy how these girls already stink up the tent without the buds can’t wait to watch them continue to grow going to run on a full 18/6 light schedule I’m thinking of getting a self space for a as she is really starting to take up a lot or room alone. 10/5: Comparing photos from the beginning of last week and today, it was pretty decent growth. If they were stunted from being in the temporary grow bags for too long, it wasn't too badly. --Blackberry I (I call her Halle), is really purpling up well, and looking like she'll be a single uber-phat cola...no branching at all..whereas her sister is all about the branches. --Wedding Cheesecakes are consistently big and vigorous. They'll probably be the best producers of the crop. --Orange Sherbets look like clones they are so consistent in shape and leaf structures. Kinda short compared to the other varieties, but nice and bushy. --Gorilla Cookies are also identical in plant shape, but two of them are a few days ahead of the other as far as pistil production goes. Also not a very tall cultivar, but many branches. --The late/stunted Lemon Pie is praying to the sun at all times and starting to look like she belongs in the same crop. The bigger LP is gorgeous..perfect structure, the other one is catching up, but my cat keeps defoliating her.😏 ---Strawberry Pies have massive sun-blocking fan leaves that require constant tucking, but they are branching well, and a couple of them are pretty beefy. The other SP is doing fine considering her crooked trunk and slow start. 10/6: Today I noticed 9 "lone" nanners on the nodes of the crooked trunk-Strawberry Pie!😧 No clusters.. just single pollen sacs here and there.🤨 These plants have experienced no major stress at all...I'm keeping it like late-August upper-peninsula Michigan in the closet. 80f/50%RH 👌 Damnit...this is a new, stable strain, right??👈 I've seen no other SP diaries with hermaphrodites...just my fukt luck I guess.😖 I plucked them and will watch for more..and I guess I'd better keep a close eye on the other two SPs as well... I just got my wife a new 16 x 7 x 7 greenhouse frame with the green semi-translucent cover for her 4' x 12' raised bed...if i see any more sneaky nanners appear, I'll probably remove the plant(s) and move them outdoors to finish in there. I swore I'd not do any training this run, but while removing the pollen sacs I couldn't resist opening up and tieing down some branches on the hermie.🤷 10/9: I fed them.

This plant was healthy and strong from the get go! She quickly grew in height surpassing all other plants around her. Left me scratching my head a bit considering she was only in a one gallon tester pot. She formed a main cola early on and fat buds on the end of each branch. She didn’t really have the classic cheese smell I love and remember, but it was still nice, more on the flowery side. BOHOLD…. The cheese smell has really started to shine through now that she’s been drying almost a week. It’s a deep cheesy/sour mix of funky goodness. Can’t understand where it’s come from as she smelt nothing like this while growing. She was harvested in day 79 and her buds where rock solid and covered in sticky goodness. Easy to grow, would recommend to anyone who has the space and time. Il do an update once she’s dried and had a few weeks curing. 🌱💚

Right so this is where I’m currently up too, 11 weeks all together and flower for around 4/5 weeks. Nute wise I’ve been using Dutch pro a+b bloom (20ml) and old times organic (10ml) and 2 days ago started using a bloom booster... So last night I had noticed one plant foxtailing... see in week 11 pics? last week I also had a few day where temps got to low 30c but I soon sorted that out with temps now at 25 high and 16lows... Question is, was it the booster or heat or both? The plant looks so happy so I’m suck I need help 😂😂. Any advise is welcome. Ps these girls are massive, ain’t to sure how I’ve managed it, 3 plants are over 170cm and the others are 150/160cm bushes

She put on so much weight this week I flushed her and now feed with ripen untill next week Mid week 11: still cloudy trichomes Maybe i let her go a few more days after the ripen scedule

What another great week it’s been , today is Day 39 from seed an the lil ladies have jumped into preflower 😍! Yesterday gave em the trim up of the unders , kinda popsicled you can say to each one, cause we want to focus on them colas ! This is a purple haze clone I received on 3/23. She has been topped and trained in prep 4 scrog!! She received her first @gaiagreenorganics all purpose 4-4-4 feeding on 4/23. Also installed scrog on 4/23. She received her second dose of 4-4-4 on 5/23. Installed Marshydro tsw2000 on 5/31. She received a 15 tablespoon dose of Gaia green worm castings on 6/2. 6/30 gave her a mix of Gaia green all purpose and power bloom. 6/30 switched light to 12/12 cycle.
