Compared to other diaries looks like this guy is growing a little slow. I ts been 7 days since I placed him in water to germinate. March 4th Raised humidity level to above 50%

Dec. 11 - Week 10 begins with a fresh sachet of Cucumeris and lots of plain water. Dec. 15 - I have removed the majority of the crispy leaves. Watering is a slow process now, 5ml takes almost 5 minutes to absorb into the soil, and about 25ml before there is any runoff if the soil was allowed to dry at all, like when I sleep. During my waking hours I just give it 4-5ml here and there as I go about my day. There are a few trichomes showing up so she's still progressing, still growing. This is such a hearty cultivar, it's a shame Humboldt Seeds may be retiring it, but excited for what the'll introduce next. Dec. 17 - While applying the first bit of water today I noticed something moving on the can, often it's a droplet from spilling, but this was different so I looked closer. It was what I assume to be a fairly young thrip (3-5 days) being harassed by a couple cucumeris, something I presumed was happening, but never actually thought I'd witness. Unfortunately for the cucumeries I squished the bugs they were after.

(Log date week 7, day 49) So this week was a mixed bag, Tuesday started off with me finding a spider web on one of the lower fan leaves on my Hulkberry plant and noticed some bite marks on some of Fat Banana. In my haste to give rid of the spider mites, i caused some minor wind damage to some of the fan leaves on Hulkberry which caused some copper spotting and a stunted Fat banana cola. After i correctly treated both plants for spider mites and wind damage, they both bounced back and started to recover quite nicely. I also noticed a difference between topping these plants at different times; i topped fat banana when it had 4 cola's but i waited until hulkberry's roots reached to the bottom of my 5gal bucket and she had 8 cola's. A BIG difference in their recovery and overall structure, where fat banana jump out the gate with explosive veg growth and hulkberry struggled for two weeks just to develop it's first set of fan leaves. To now whereas hulkberry is much bigger, greener and bushier than fat banana. Hulkberry has responded much better to the additional stress whereas fat banana has struggled or stalled due to the stressful conditions. All in all wasn't too bad of a week, except for the power going out for a couple of hours on Saturday which raised my grow-room temperature to 90f, i was able to put out a couple of fires this week without any adverse long term effects. I also topped hulkberry on the last day of the week and I'm going to continue to feed them Technfloa at the full recommended strength since they have both responded very well to last week's formula. as always my pic are in chronological order Mr. O.G.T

So as you can tell, a branch broke off in training... She has been pretty hard to train as her stems had been getting very thick, very quick.. I have been adding silica, but I do that with all my plants but this girl just gets thick quick... Nothing but dots recharge and some silica.. hope everyone is doing well and happy growing! Well I said I was leaving her untrained but on day 56 I gently tied back a few branches to open up the canopy. This is looking like it's going to be my best grow yet.

Hi folks,I ran out of terpinator and it seems like my last two plants are finishing way quicker,I don't knownif it is coincidence or what the story is. I chopped down the last remaining green crack,I reckon I've got somewhere between 8 and 9 ounces on it ,I'll have a final summary next week My last gelato is looking really good,I hate yo speculate but I'm thinking she has about 6 ounces on it,ide say its got between 1.5 and 2 weeks left. Went into flower after 25 hrs of darkness, switched from night time light cycle to day time light cycle as its actually cooler during the day in the house. Decided to go minimal salts and go mostly organic esp. With the macros NPK. Top soil amended with Azomkte, dolomite, ewc, bat guano, mycho, perlite

Auto Lemons abit behind but the making up for it in size and smell

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

Week 2 of flower 👍🏾

Trouble in Paradise! Both experiencing all kinds of trouble. BUT theyre growing and swelling! I put the blame solely on me, i overwatered in the early weeks and really havent had much time to take care of them in time. Also started flowering nutes way too late. Im happy with both of their forms though! small and bushy, thats how i like them. Sad that the deficiencies had to happen, but oh well, theyre gonna pull through i hope! i downed water to 2L from 2.5L just because it takes really low for them to dry out in between and i wanna get fresh batches of nutes in more often. 2L is also enough to get a tiny bit of runoff so no dry spots or anything. Will see how they like it! due to deficiencies, i skipped giving them 2ml/L of bloom and went straight to 3, also added a good dose of calmag. Didnt defoliate besides really effed-up leaves. Hi gromie's welcome to week 8. These girls are going great, started flushing on Monday 11/11/24 with plain ph'd water and Resin from Green Planet Nutrients at 2ml/ltr. I also reduced watering to just 2 times a day for 15 minutes on each time. Just trying something different as I usually do high fertigation . 15 minutes on watering cycle every 2 hours. From what I've read, I was hoping they would draw moisture from within themselves to help with drying but also some people believe it can increase THC?? It has worked at bringing out some more of that beautiful colour with in the buds but you can really notice the back plant has started canabilising itself! Starting to see some really nice fading of colours on the vegetation of the plant at the back, which is something I don't usually get with hydro because you usually feed them right to the end & Only need to flush for 2 to 3 days. Gave them a long flush this time. I've been waiting on a new microscope to arrive to check trichomes, but these girls are looking about done going off pistills turned orange/brown & curling in , Calyx closed & swelling up, looking really frosty!!! Will harvest this week! As I need to get veging plants into Flower Come on Grow diaries get your act together!!! I'm tired of updating my Diary only to see it's all wrong, things have been changed, put my day temp at 28°c save it & it shows -2°c & it's like that All through the diaries????
