Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. These girls are filling out now. And there's some pink and purple going on too. The plants are smelling stronger now and they are putting out THC crystals. Plant #3 has a raw minty smell, like I rubbed a peppermint leaf in my fingers and smelled my fingers. I'm hoping these plants will smoke strong... but I'm not seeing very much THC crystals forming. I hope they are strong enough for me. The last 5 pictures are of the "Real" Pink Kush and a cross I made; I took Dr. Atomics Northern Lights #5 pre 2005, And crossed that with Barneys Amnesia Lemon, to be called Northern Lemnesia. I too that and crossed it with the Pink Kush. I took the Pi for Pink Kush and No for Northern Lights and the AL for Amnesia Lemon and got Pinoal Kush. Got a musky citrus taste and smell. So if I can do that (see pics),... then I was expecting more THC crystals out of these WeedaSec plants. Ok. Have Fun out there on this New Years Eve. Be safe... Chuck.

Mar 28th - plants have been moved into 1 gal pots - gently watered-in the plants to get them through the transplant - DynoMyco was sprinkled into the 1 gallon pots ahead of the transfer, and the Solo Cups Root-Ball, was also sprinkled with Myco, making sure any exposed roots made good contact Mar 29th - a watering program begins tonight, Its posted above, next on 31st (day 3) - p.m. feeding saw 400 ml h20 per plant. (First Official feeding and there is no containment for any water leaving the pots… i held-back 100ml ea. just to see if the Pots leaked… all good for now x 30) Mar 31 - day 3 of the watering cycle; 350ml tonight (posted above) - petals are big enough on the true leaves; foliar spray @ lites-out - measured Soil pH, found it to be 7.1; Future waterings will be ~ 6.2-6.3 to help bring the soil pH a little lower towards mid 6’s Apr 4 - watering tonight ~ 250ml ea - topped-up the Soil in each Pot. Maximizing the Root Zone this whole grow

Plant is looking good. Probably the best looking in the grow so far IMO. Can’t wait to see her grow out!

Week 7 today/ can’t see my goal being achieved / 72oz was the target. I now start to push back Ec in take 1.6run off 2.1 Ph 5.8 run of 6 Aiming for pot EC to be around 1.6 week 8 few problems over the last week with heat and thrips but heyyyy oooo ok

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. There getting thirsty watered every 2 days last week twice with nutes and once with phd water with molasses coming up in week four Sunday I will do one last defoliation after that I will only pluck leaves that are blocking bud sites !!! Not sure if things are imrproving with the calmag but i am seeing more growth but still little brown patched on the leaves but ill stick at it and see how it all goes. I am wondering if i should remove any of the leaves with the brown patches etc but tempted to just let it grow and see where it ends up

Ladies and gentlemen here we are for a few days away from starting our third week of flower and she is now starting to crown and all of her shoots are starting to shoot up towards the light.. from the beginning I've given this plant a complete beating and she's taking it with stride.. as far as the high stress training and low stress training goes that's all over with and we're just going to let her ride out from here on out... I'm not expecting any massive size buds I'm expecting a whole lot of thumb size buds and I'm okay with that... Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days.
