Day 54 and I think we're on track to harvest some time next week. I've decided not keep any of these as a mom, the back left one has some potential but non really seem like good hash plants. I'll jar test each to make sure but all have really greasy trichromes.

These girls are getting bigger and bigger every day. I’d say week five is the beginning of pre-flower. I started with a very low dosage of nutrients to see how they will respond. I’ve had to tie them down quite a bit but it has helped branch out new nodes and Bud sites that are comparable in size to the main cola. With the small environment I’m growing in I’ve also had to do a large amount of leaf tucking. The EC and PH of the runoff was pretty spot on, I was around 800ppm, 1.6ec, and the ph was around 6.0. Overall I’d say that these plants are a hell of a lot happier than my other plants in the different medium. This is the Miller soils organic ammended soil, which is pretty decent but I prefer to control most of my grows so next time around I will be using either bio bizz light mix or light mix with 40%-50% coco and added perlite or pumice. I want to really see the full potential of these advanced nutrients products and see how they compare to other brands/amending with basic dry organics. I have so many seeds to play with so I will have a lot of diaries coming soon after these are harvested 😉

I started germination of 2 Jack F1 beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their new home. Cant wait! Just some background information on my last run with the Jack f1. It was relatively strong during veg. But was middle of the pack in size after the 6 weeks of vegetative growth. After the flower stretch she became the largest quick! With a enormous stretch rate of 300%... Yes she tripled in size. Forcing me too super crop her which she didnt like at all. Setting her back and definitely hurting her all around yeild. Despite the staggering, unexpected stretch amount. Leading to the stress inducing supercropping. She still pulled off immaculate bud structre, density, and trichome production. She just took much longer than she should have... and didnt pack on the whopper size buds I'd expect out of these genetics. Definitely learned alot out of my first go. So I'm amped for the second run with this variety. This time around I'm going to anticipate the stretch and cut veg time shorter. To roughly 4 weeks or 1 ft in height. Also utilize a bit of very light lst to their side branching to open them up a little bit. Without stressing them out... well hopefully.

Howdy growfessors! Another week has come and gone with the outdoors grow. The ladies took a bit of a beating from the tail end of tropical storm Ida. Going to build a partial greenhouse roof to help keep the rain off them, which will hopefully lower the chances for mould.

Hey guys! I chopped all the top half of the plant on 6/4 21:30 and the bottom half on 7/4 23:00. It’s now the 9/4 at 11:30 all of it sits in jars. Dried quicker than I wanted it to but all the buds were very dry too touch so I jarred them. I figured it was easier to remove moisture from the jars than it is to put moisture back into them so hopefully this plan works out🤞 she has a hay smell to her and I’m hoping this goes while curing her. All the nugs look great and some are mega dense and others are very airy. The more airy ones being from lower down I just didn’t have time to keep her going. She weighed in at 110+ grams wet, But I didn’t weigh any of the lower nugs. Dry weight all combined is 35.8 grams. 9.2g from the bottom half and 26.6g from the top half. I’ll re weigh it once I’m done curing. Very happy with this first grow I wasn’t expecting to have this good of a finish even if it isn’t the best💪 both jars are around 21c, the jar with smaller nugs has been sat at 55%-65% and the bigger nugs are getting up to %70 so I’ve been opening the big ones letting the humidity go back down again. I don’t expect to get the drying and curing done %100 but that’s what the first grow is all about. Roll on to my next 3 plants harvest day😎 I smoked all the material that went through the sieve while trimming and damnnn.. tasted like something out of Amsterdam. If the flowers end up like that I’ll be very happy😁 I’ll be adding a smoke report once she’s ready, really looking forward to it🤣 Id like to give a huge thanks to everyone who has helped and advised me on this journey! 01/04/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed Second week of my Shogun bloom 🐉🐉🐉 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼 Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼 Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week Training: LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡 Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves did not shade the already forming buds and the plant could breathe freely - Shogun had a lot of leaves that blocked the flowers from the light, so I removed them all 🍃🍃 Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓 In general: The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴. It's a sativa, yet Banana is taller. I assume that he will catch up with Banana in peace 😊 Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. All plants were thinned out a little below. Since not much light was able to reach these shoots. Now we give them a week or two before we go into bloom.

So after a very slow , deformed and sluggish start , as you can see this girl has now come into her own and very healthy and produceing really well , I seems as soon as I removed all the very first droopy leaves coving up all the branches she shot out in all directions , So I am pleased with her progress now and she looks too be a good yelding plant even at this stage ,
