Week 3 of Flower we focus on Defoilation. This really is going to test the genetics response to extreme stress. Performed a 5 day Schwazze to minimize stress instead of ripping off most leave in one day. Plant seem to have reacted well so far. This technique has really opened the canopy and expose many bud sites. Preparing for a top feed at start of new week.

Have some problem with unfiltered water and it just cause the water to be come unclean and the root seem to also be uncleaned and unhealthy.

I’ve been flushing the plants for a week now. The colas have definitely gotten fatter from last week. It’s looking like I’ll be harvesting in 1 more week. Pretty much all the trichomes are milky and I’m starting to get amber ones.

Great week this week :) been really fattening up and putting out a really sweet sugary smell. Really liking the purpling I’m getting in the one. Had one of my males accidentally pop too soon so might end up with a few seeds :p

Well for how I messed up the early weeks of this plants life I was rather surprised by final weight. Buds are hard and dense with hidden colors all about in light. Just started curing. Gonna be making another attempt at this strain soon. Thanks again fast buds. Hello Diary, The third week of flowering has ended, Cherry Pie is progressing very nicely, which is clearly visible in the photos. Cherry Pie has almost stopped growing, it has grown a scant 3 cm, which means that that is more or less the height. 72 cm is almost ideal considering the size of the grow box. The main cola rises high above the other branches, it is completely covered with flowers. As for the flowers, they are developing nicely, it is still early to make any predictions, but if it continues to develop like this, I will be very happy. Cherry Pie has also started to smell more intensely, when I open the grow box, the smell is immediately noticeable. The leaves are a healthy green color, there are no signs of a lack of anything. Watering has become more frequent, they have become much thirstier. I have continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering. All in all, I am very pleased with how Cherry Pie is progressing, I try to provide them with the best possible conditions and the plants return the favor in their own way. Here is what the past week looked like. 29/08/2024 - Day 36. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, added CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertiliser and lowered the pH to 6.0. With that amount of water I watered all three plants on the "Farm". 01/09/2024 - Day 39. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 03/09/2024 - Day 41. Watering. Same procedure. 04/09/2024 - Day 42. End of the 6th week, or the third week of flowering. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants. Cherry Pie - Day 42. - 72 cm. Well that was fun. First time delving into the homegrown world and I’m officially hooked. Following the cocoforcannabis nutrient schedule and method, I ended up with 200 grams of dry bud and an extra 40 grams of trim/larf for edibles. I may have had them in the dry tent for a day too long, the hygrometers in the jars have settled around 54% RH, but they feel pretty damn sticky and moist to me. Been toking the larf and the high is really nice, definitely smoother than anything I’ve gotten from a dispensary. Can definitely taste the 🍇 and I’m excited to see what a little more cure will do. Already have my seeds ready for round 2, thanks for checking out the grow!

As week 2 comes to an end 4 of the 5 have shown great growth 1 is behind (#5) but it also has a mutation and has a few 4 leafers on it. #3 is shorter and has wider leaves.

This week we the weather will be a bit cold, so I put her a bit close to the house. Weather was a bit windy, so pictures are not the best, but hey... it's an outdoor thing isn't it? Last week we had wonderfull weather, but this week weather will go under 15C, hope everything will go well. No additional nutrients yet, there's enough in the soil for 1 full round, but i iwll start adding mineral nutrients soon, just to get better taste and to be sure that no shortages of minerals will be visible on leaf (or better said... let's feed enough, so the insects can have some too (outdoor).
