This week i harvested her on day 88 from seed week 13. This girl had some issues. She none the less survived long enough to finish up. Around the 2 week of flower she began burning up underneath the led's ( which don't get that hot). It's really weird, because out of 3 plants that were under the led's i run, this candy kush was the only one to react this way. I narrowed it down to this being the issue after flushing and verifying run off ph, defoliation, and nutrient decreases.She was also transplanted during preflower from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon pot, which she took to well and really grew alot bigger from. I pulled off soooo many damaged leaves from the issues that occurred from the burning. It was so bad, i eventually built a greenhouse for her to finish up in. Although i think she could have been grown better and produced more, i cannot complain. I did oven bake some bottom branch larf buds and rolled up a sample. Of course the terpines were garbage and she tasted like shit haha, but the high was pretty good and intense! After she is done drying i will supply dry picks and weights, then she will be going into them curing jars. Oh and she was flushed for one week using only tps signal and molasses. She will indeed get another run in the future.

This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of us sites developing!

Sugar high came out very nice. Has a very gluey terp almost like super glue. For an f1 this genetic grows like a weed lol but seriously Sugar high by Mephisto genetics should be taken seriously!!!

I applied a defoliation now on the second week to get that the light gets to every bud site,let's see how this wonderful little bush performs.

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. she has 103 days and I'm going to leave 120 days to knock her out. she still enjoys the sun and the outdoors and she s feeding every 10 days with red bird guano... 80%ambar

They looking good, but temp is a little too high. It is what it is One of the plants (In front to the left) is more frosty, with less amber pistils. But overall the trichomes are starting to go from crystal to cloudy. Which is my timing for start flush. 24/7 -Temp 23-26day/21-24night -47%RH (2+-) 25/7 Water day* start of flush Gave them till run through with plain ph balanced water, and topped it off with some light nutrients-mixed water. -Temp 23-26day/21-24night -49%RH (2+-) 26/7 -Temp 23-27day/21-24night -47%RH (2+-) 27/7 -Temp 23-26day/21-24night -47%RH (2+-) 28/7* Water day / flush -Temp 23-27day/22-24night -47%RH (2+-) 29/7 -Temp 24-27day/22-24night -47%RH (2+-)

I dried them for 9 days and now they are in jars with bovedas ready to cure for 1 month. Very strong and sticky weed. I love it ! Another great thing : they are not hard to grow. Make sure you wont train them too much and they will be fine. Big and strong plants.

It is visible that one of them is delayed by 4 days, but everything is going well. I apply 500ml of water per week to this plant per plant. I'm taking it easy and they seem to be enjoying it. when I complete the 3 week I will do the top pruning and start preparing for the SCROG.

1 more week to go can't wait everything is fading nicely,and chunkin up big time

This week I made the decision to remove the ScrOG net because the plant has stunted growing and the leaves were droopy before and after watering . Given the fact she is an indica dominant strain, my approach to training wasn't the best. Also the light intensity has been adjusted to PPFD level of 700. The light schedule is 18/6, so the DLI is about 45, which is the recommended maximum for autoflowers. I will keep my eyes on her, how is she will react.
