So we have done another defoliation to allow the lower shoots to be exposed to the lights which equal to a better yield come flower time, they always need a day or 2 recover after being put under any stress, especially if its an extreme amount of leaves being taken off. They were also lollipoped to clear up and messy under growth and to improve airflow under the canopy. I also took clones from each of these. Paying close attention to the EC and pH. Increasing and decreasing as and when I need to going off what the plants show me. Close to flower now. A few days to go! Weather was great this week, warm and sunny. One plant was ready and got the chop and is hanging now. The other three are probally a month behind. Kinda funny they are finishing so far apart. The only difference l can see is a bit of shade. Would never have thought. That partridge was back, must be my Cannabis guard bird haha. I uploaded a video of it, kinda funny. Harvest Update – RUNTZ Both RUNTZ phenos have been harvested, officially bringing this incredible journey to the end. It was a grow full of satisfaction, learning, and beautiful results. I’m truly impressed with the genetics from Zamesia both plants delivered super dense, frosty buds with an absolutely insane sweet and candy-like aroma. The terpene profile on these girls is just mouthwatering and promises a top-tier experience in the vaporizer. Solid, rock-hard nugs on both phenos this strain really lives up to the hype! We loved this photoperiod Super Boof from Zamnesia right from the start. This plant has developed an excellent cannabis body that has allowed it to give us beautiful flowers, with good density, a great scent, and excellent resin production, especially considering the hot periods it experienced. Up until now, I haven't had the chance to control the temperatures with air conditioning, but I'll soon be able to do so at the new location, and everything will be even more precise. However, finding an ideal spot and making as few adjustments as possible remains the ideal solution. I love hillside locations; at most, you need to cool them a little in the summer and heat them a little in the winter, for sure. In any case, we're gearing up for full control; I'm still a home grower like everyone else. Our plant has given us good trichome maturation, mostly milky/cloudy, just as I like it, with some amber and still a bit of clear stuff. Compost tea turned out well, let it go for 26 hours total and geared it towards fungal. Also took some soil samples several days later around the stalks and found a lot of nematodes and protozoa which is what you want to see. Lots of different types of nematodes so what your looking for are the bacterial feeders (there are charts online that show you how to identify them). Mycorrhizae can be identified by it's dark colour, uniformity and segmented nature. Testate amoebas live in a translucent shell like a snail and are easy to spot but hard to spot moving due to my shitty microscope, but look for the tentacles. Also found some eggs with movement inside, no idea what they are but they have vacuoles and flagella. She is really getting sticky and smelly now; berries with herb notes. You can see the resin stretching over the trichomes in the last pic. No signs of senescence yet so I'm not going to feed them, they should have plenty of food anyway as this is a second run of the same soil.

Cali crasher is doing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She is starting to bulk. She has a nice resin layer going and good aroma starting to develop. Nothing else to report at the moment. Only 3 out of 8 turned out to be females. 5 male ones were culled a week ago. 💀 Today I transplanted them to final - 26L - fabric pots and moved into flowering 4x4 ft tent under Mars Hydro FC 4800 (466W). They get around 650 μmol/m²/s for now - will crank it up in a few days. I used Canna Terra Professional substrate - as always. After they get accustomed to new pots I'll flip them to flower - in about a week. 👌
