Missed a couple weeks of progress from this beautiful girl. But, today is day 42 of veg, beginning of week 7. I quickly learned that she loves to be fed! Been feeding the Advanced Nutrients line(Sensi Grow A&B, B52, Nirvana, Bud Candy, and Fish Shit) at half strength. She loves it! She's been topped for a second time and the now 4 main colas are growing fantastically!

GIVE THIS GROW A THUMBS UP 👍 WEEK #2 DAY 9: She was stunted day 6 & is recovering from that currently . She is in a 5x5 with 3 autos between 35-42 days old . The plan is to veg this single Cereal Milk out to fill this entire 5x5 once my Autos are harvested . This is my first run with this cultivar & breeder however it was an easy choice considering I adore the taste , smell, & smoke of the strain! Week 1 issues: The tents VPD was out of whack . Due to the VPD being out of proportion slowed/stunted growth occurred equally across all 4 plants in the tent . Plants showed deficiencies of CalMag and interveinal yellowing , necrosis leaf spots , reddening leaf petioles & leaf stems slowly progressing in the worst affected plants to red leaf veins & lastly droplets of condensation on the leaves (plants were sweating) Anyways after I fixed the VPD issues , I added a makeshift dome for humidity retention of the Cereal Milk & 3 days later which is today she has added 2 new nodes almost catching up to where she would be with normal healthy unstunted growth at day #9. She was transplanted from her starter pot last night into a 2 gallon with plenty of dry amendments mixed in for a 6-8 week veg. I’m debating on scrogging this plant or LST & Supercropping the SHIT out of this plant . I’ve never scrogged before and am not welcoming any new learning curves at the moment which is my main reason not to even though I think it may be the biggest help to filling this tent & “supporting” the enormous load of bud sites I am planning to grow . I worry about to inconvenience of defoliating & training branches down without being able to get around the outside of my tent given its location in a corner . If I had anticipated wanting to grow a single 2lb + plant when determining my grow location I would’ve placed it more ” openly “. If I can think up a work around to canopy maintenance so that I can keep it clean & by the books I’ll quit complaining & try it . Otherwise she’ll be LST’d & Supercropped OR topped and mainlined . Day 14 END OF WEEK #2 I’ve added remote temperature & humidity monitoring/controller. Now I can monitor the dips & swings while making adjustments to better dial things in . (Just trying it on for size here , for full disclosure I am not in love with it & if I can not modify what it is that is bothering my existence I WILL be returning this unit AND purchasing another brand with the capabilities I am looking for the connectivity for this specific unit I am trying was a BIG deciding factor for me but all in all is not enough to make me settle on this one if I can potentially have it all. . Odds are highly leaning towards returning this unit .) Finally raised the pot to level with the older girls in flower currently . I was wrong when I reported in setup that she was “30 inches “ from the light . She in fact was 35 inches‼️away so I raised her to be 26 inches from the light by placing a 1 gallon bucket beneath her . I WILL NOT LET THE MID-END OF FLOWER & DRYING to cause my run to get derailed

Welcome growfessors! Harvest time for Do-si-dos! This gal is looking great after her last week in the tent. She developed a little foxtailing over the past week, but she did bulk up, pack on more frost and is sticky as molasses! July 11 dry weight of 83 grams. Smooth smoke, mellow flavors.

Everything going great. Smells like sour candies. Legit can smell the cantaloupe origins and it’s already getting blanketed in trichs. Can’t wait to see these girls get dense in the next few weeks.

I’m very concerned about baby 1. Her growth pace is behind her sister baby 2. Working with someone to help me figure out how to remedy this. Fresh batch of water and nutrients for baby 1. Loving how rapid they are growing!

Switched to 18 hours light schedule now and she seems to be loving it so far. The lemon balms are keeping the soil nice and moist.

The germinated seed was directly placed in the final 11-liter pot with BioBizz LightMix soil

Beginning of week.. I am beginning the flush today.. I ran some FloraKleen thru the medium.. Then just watwr tomorrow.. Then FloraKleen once more the next day.. Then just water till harvest! Not even going to pH the water and I want to see if it brings up the runoff pH any.. Just for shits and giggles, I suppose. Look at those colas! Man, they are gonna be delicious! Mid week.. Wow.. These girls are maturing quick! I think I could harvest in the next couple days.. But 1 more week should do wonders! They are both neck and neck with eachother it seems.. A few ambers starting to pop up all over the top colas.. I think by next week they should be perfecto!!! So excited! I did a super late defoliation.. I know that is not ideal to do this so late.. But the humidity is getting crazy out of control at times.. It doesn't sit there very long.. But my dehumidifier is much needed. The fans should be helping combat any mold.. I hope 🤞🤞🤞 should be fine.. These are some super sense nugs! Even the lower nugs are pretty dense! So so SO excited!!! End of week... Posted a video this update.. Plants are looking great! The Mandarin Cookies is flopping all over the place lol.. I COULD harvest now.. But I'm going to wait 1 more week.. They should be perfect! That will be 10 weeks from 12/12.. As of today.. The mediums of both plants should be good and flushed by now.. I've been using unpH'd rainwater to flush (30 - 40 PPM at 7.0 pH).. And some FloraKleen (2x for both plants) and now the runoff is reading about 80 PPM at 6.8 pH for the ETHOS Cookies and about 100 PPM at 6.3 pH for the Mandarin Cookies.. Very excited for this run to be over.. Kinda wanna try a 1 plant ScrOG'd in this 2'x4' tent under the Optic Slim 320H before I swap out tents and start bustin out the autoflowers till it's cool again 😎 but I am ready to start smokin these ladies! Anyways... On to the LAST week!!!...

This strain was a pain in the ass honestly. I will never grow bagseeds again, when real genetics are so cheap. This plant hermmed so I have a metric fuckton of seeds that I have no idea what to do with. But for a first grow, this plant was really good at letting me know when I was doing something wrong. My other runs suffered the same treatment, but their strong genetics didn't mind as much. But this plant, this plant bitched and moaned about everything. Its leaves faded like 2 weeks early. It had all these weird mutations. When she was a babe (Weeks 1-4), I literally thought that she died from how she didn't grow much at all. Every other plant I've popped since, has been a dream compared to this one. But now I know how to diagnose all these things. I feel like I got 10 grows worth of wisdom in one. So for that, I am thankful. RIP Big Bertha. You may be gone but, with the amount of seeds you've given me, your lineage will never die.

Basically I'm taking this as new hobby. I don't smoke but since I was 16 that I wanted to embrace a grow project. 18 years later, decided to get my hands to the work, bearing in mind that it should be as simple as possible. Ordered 3 easy bud seeds, germinated all 3, only 2 survived on the soil, mostly because of my technique. For me, it's all about learning so I did some experiences. 3 different soils, 3 different planting techniques and this is the result so far. The one that died, was due muddy soil, so she drown. No oxygen. Started this project with a simple indoor greenhouse, 160x40x60cm size, 2 daylight lamps 11 watts, 6300 kelvin and roughly 700 lumen each, 1 usb cooling fan. Distance from the lamps to the seeds +20 centimetres, which you can see on day 3, we had a lot of stretching (video). Nevertheless, started to see some life!!! Decided to take the project more seriously. We are now on the day 4, with a new setup. Adequate soil, carefully buried both plants in bigger vases and new lights. 4 cfl lamps, 1297 lumen, 97 watts and 6300 kelvin. I was about to buy the cfl pure light lamp 125 watts but found these cfl's at leroy merlin. I wanted to keep this low budget/experimental project as much as possible, therefore after doing some calculations I found that with these 4 lamps I would roughly get the same lumens and watts I would get with the pure light lamp. Today is week 5 now since dropped in water to be honest I think these are growing slow compared to other peoples. I changed a couple of things like upped wattage of metal halide from 250 to 400 and started giving full strength nute from half strength which I should of give 3 quarter strength instead of full because I can see a slight tip burn so will back of a little. Water every day till run off. At some point this week I will top for the first time to get the main line thing up and going. See you next week peace.
