Here’s a deep dive into this exciting and educational week: The “Flush” in Full Swing The flush continues as we prepare the ladies for their final days. While we’re a week or so away from harvest, the plants are responding beautifully, showcasing stunning fades that highlight their unique genetics. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost. Trichomes are piling up like snow, giving the entire garden a magical wintery appearance. I genuinely believe the ThinkGrow LEDs and TrolMaster spectrum control deserve a shoutout here. Overall plant wet weight was 2,6 kg after initial trim and removal of all stems, it came down to 2,1 kg, which will end up up somewhere in the high 300s maybe 400 gr dry. Harvested a bit in a hurry as the one mutated bud on the plant looked a bit funky and I feared but rot (all other buds look rot free so far). Tried to take some nice pictures with the plant out of the tent, however she was not able to support herself at all and I will there fore post some nicer pictures of the finished product . I have to say for a, in the beginning, pretty small plant, she turned out very nice and I would definitely grow her again.

April 28 - May 5 This week the nutrients have been completely phased out and they are now just sipping plain TO water ph balanced to 5.8 still. As they start entering into the flushing zone with harvest day quickly approaching. Daily tricome inspections become the focal point In these final days and or weeks. I

And this Mama keeps getting better and better every week, she is now putting weight on her fruits to a point that i am already using extra help to keep them in place lol , and man she keeps increasing her trichomes to an outstanding levels and formation , she is a beauty of the goods and a keeper thats for sure. Stop my P and increase my K and everything else except my CO2 levels , don wryly control that , and my PPFD that i control and am keeping the same as last week. Welcome back in the 8th week of flowering with Dutch Passion’s Colorado Cookies. She is ripening good, buds are rock solid and covered in trichomes, such a beauty. The smell is exactly what I hoped for, the Cookies characteristic as we all know from the GSC. Last Sunday I gave her the last bits of nutrients, so this week is flushing till Sunday, Sunday will be harvest day!! I noticed that this one Colorado Cookies less to almost non purple than the rest, since most of the GSC genetics do have purple in them. But it doesn’t matter im happy with how the buds look and smell. Cant wait to have a taste! After this one is cut down ill put the other 2 cookies straight in the flower room for at least 1 week maby 2 depends on how well they will perform in there. My next grow will take place first or second week of December, in the meantime I will chooce a new strain to grow and prepare the next grow. This time I will perfom my first real ScrOG and combine it with the airdome underneath my pot (they say you can improves your yield by 20-30%). So it got my attention and im very curious about the results. That’s it for now see you all back on Sunday harvest day!!
