End of the second week of the stretch and pretty much as expected. One male has gone off early spilling pollen everywhere. The females Id say are a little behind this one but no real worries - we got another 2 males in there ready and waiting to burst at the right time👍. We’ve now pared down the whole tent for pollination and taken cuttings of each fem. Plant for a separate run. Best part there is that we have 3 identified phenos of both indica and sativa dominant traits so we’re gonna get a really even look at what the genetic has to offer, while at the same time being able to isolate desirable traits in the resulting F2 seed. Pretty sick outcome to date 🔥. We moved over to GHE nutes this week to save the Druid nutes for the fem run in the recirc system. Stronger brand for sure, but similar in value and ease. All told, everything is proceeding far better than expected. The rest is just praying that we found a kickass combination in the polyhybrid mix🤞. Till next week yall👊. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. She’s got some of the most unique bud structure I’ve ever seen, along with the most beautiful colors! Fading and thickening up very quickly as the grow winds down. Going to chop very soon.

The cannabis plant is generally growing well and is progressing as expected during the flowering stage. Despite the positive overall growth, brown spots have appeared on some of the leaves and I dont really know what it is. While the appearance of brown spots is concerning, the overall health of the cannabis plant remains good. With careful monitoring and appropriate adjustments, the plant should continue to develop successfully. It will be exciting to see how the plant progresses as it matures, even if its growth rate is somewhat slower than expected.

It is still hot here, even though it is a tad cooler. The leaves still show some unhappiness. The buds have grown beautifully fat and do now boast some impressive size. The buds are getting too heavy and I had to add some support. It smells very fresh and citrusy, like grapefruit. I love the smell. I´ll start checking the trichomes now...

Oh, Week 5 in the fabulous world of my green squad has been nothing short of a horticultural sitcom! I kicked off the festivities with a low-stress training (LST) session that would make any plant yoga instructor proud. Imagine me in my gardening yoga pants, coaching the lower branches like, "Stretch, my green warriors, stretch! We're aiming for a yoga retreat, not a sedentary plant spa!" I decided it was time for a botanical makeover – no more settling for an average, run-of-the-mill plant. Oh no, my friends, I was determined to turn my green buddy into the Beyoncé of the tent. The plant underwent a transformation that would put any Hollywood diva to shame, becoming a bushier superstar that covered more ground than a celebrity red carpet. I could almost hear the applause from the tiny plant leaves – a standing ovation for the botanical sensation. But why stop at just a physical transformation? In the spirit of keeping up appearances, I went full-on garden Marie Kondo. It was time to declutter! Any discolored leaves that didn't meet the high standards of my garden's fashion police got the boot. Who needs an unsightly leaf cramping the style of the green kingdom, right? It's all about maintaining that A-list garden aesthetic – the Vogue of the plant world. In the grand comedy of plant life, Week 5 has been a laugh-out-loud episode filled with beauty, drama, and a touch of horticultural glam. As I stand there, admiring my now Beyoncé-level plant, I can't help but feel like the director of a blockbuster comedy – green leaves fluttering in the wind, tiny plant divas striking poses, and the whole garden stage set for a laugh riot. Flowering day 3 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. This was an easy to grow varietal for me... Plant was extremely stable... Great flowering time period 8to9 weeks... Other phenols took longer... Will keep this cutting fo good

At the end of this week we got to put these ladies outside to finish out the summer; finally! They have made a large jump in height; but we low stress trained them all down, now that they have ample space to do so. I had an accident with one of the plants while LST and ripped the main trunk a little bit at the topped knot, we repaired the rip with para film immediately; she seems to be recovering well, barely skipped a beat so far. We continued to water with ancient earth every watering, and I gave them a foliar spray of gaia green soluble seaweed extract the morning after their first night outside. They are acclimating well to their new permanent outdoor home. ☀️
