So this week the plants streched like crazy, the NL started to flower too and has actually become taller then the other 2 plants, even though its technically 2 weeks behind. the strange thing is its way more spacious then the packed Diesel.... it'll be fun seeing how they match up in the end! My new fan and dehumidifier solved the RH issue I had and I crushed it down to under 50% now! Things are looking like they're on the right track.....fingers crossed! I wonder if there is anything else I can add , nutrient wise... i know I shouldn't overdo it but I'll play around a bit and see. Got rid of most bigger and medium fan leaves that i felt were blocking the bud-sites from getting light...again, not sure about if I'm going about this the right way, seems counter-intuitive to get rid of so much green but hey ...it helps greatly with lowering humidity and keeps the bottom of the girls nice and ventilated. I actually took off a bit more because it keeps growing shut. Update: got some big bud and overdrive from my local grow shop... I'll give it a try...

Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. Hi Growmies, She is becoming a monster. This plant is only 18 cm tall and basically consists of stems an buds, by now she has overtaken her mother in terms of bud production, quality and bud volume. I like to believe that the one feeding of pk 13/14 stimulated it even more. As of now the feeding will get less end less, preparing her for ripening. I am a super proud of this little project and it’s outcome and looking forward to cut this beauty down in roughly 3 weeks. Not much more to do but wait.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. This week has seen a bit of stretch but theyre all hitting flower nicely opening the tent right now makes my heart sing. They all look so healthy and happy to me. This is hands down the deepest green Ive managed to get my plants compared to past grows I think the blurple has played a role in that and maybe from starting silicone from the moment they popped. Im glad I took a few clones from these before I flipped just hoping the clones pull through as these are some happy ladies in my opinion.

The other 3 GDP went through a flush today. Zkittlez was flushed. The very first GDP flushed in the 24th got flushed a 2nd time alongside the other 3 GDP. I’m still eyeballing to see when Runtz will be “ ready “. Finally got my dry box slapped together, DIY TIL I DIE BABY. Still it came out well for a first try. Heat ran out of control & I learned the HARD way why we don’t let our girls hang out above 85 for extended periods of time. I kinda had some severe foxtailing going on. Just biding my time until harvest , fingers crossed I don’t mess this last leg of the race up I’d be distraught . UPDATE : Lastly I found an area of BUD ROT on Runtz not knowing that’s what I had found the dust got flung in the air twice sooooo there’s spores in my tent & possibly on all my plants now . Trouble is I’ve flushed 5/10 plants & watered 5 others in the tent so humidity is super high. I’ve added in an additional dehumidifier because it is riding at 70%-80% . Within 3 mins of adding additional dehumidifier & opening tent doors as we as pointing circulatory fans at plants instead of the grow lights overall humidity dropped from 73% to 53% & still declining . Hopefully this is enough to keep the other 9 plants healthy & im going to have to harvest Runtz without Flushing . Ergo, schon gestern hat meine Pflanze extreme Probleme mit der Wurzeltemperatur bekommen und hat die Blätter hängen lassen . Ich hab das Licht runtergeschraubt und Abluft extrem erhöht. Ventilation direkt in die Pflanze sonst gibts Schimmel . Aber hilft halt nicht wirklich . Luftentfeuchter läuft auf Dauerschaltung und produziert dann auch noch Wärme, die ich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen kann bei den Temperaturen draussen lol. Das Licht noch weiter reduziert dafür näher an die Planze gemacht. Das ist wirklich das mindeste was noch geht. Liegt ca bei PPFD 600 an der Spitze . Wenigstens ist hier die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen , zwar immer noch zuviel (67% im Zelt) aber besser so als das hier die Hitze in die Höhe schießt . Nach 12h Licht (19:00 Uhr) wird dann wieder aufgedreht und die letzen Stunden mit mehr intensität nachgeholt was nachzuholen geht , denn dann gehen hier erst wieder die Temperaturen runter . Day 56: Läuft wie gestern ab 19:00 wurde das Licht aufgedreht und DLI nachgeholt .

Esta fue una de mi primer cosecha con éxito, esperaba una mayor producción, y mejores efectos y sabor, pero para ser la primera ves esta muy bien 👏🏻 aún me quedan un par de semillas, la próxima ves espero crecerla mejor.

I planted the seed on March 31 Easter and 8 days later they all sprouted . I literally throw em in the soil. Didn’t use paper towel nor let it soak in water. I had this strain yrs in freezer and grew previous strains before from Elev8 like Granny Apple Fritter, HeadCake , Magic Monkey etc last harvest was Birthday Runtz. I be wanting to clone but I am still trying out diff as well looking for a keeper. Now willing to show my work on their discord plus on here diaries to seewhat I can do with their genetics.

This week has gone well most the plants looking healthy my six shooter is looking a little but yellow other than that I carn't complain. Will be trying some calmag see it that helps her out. Seeing and smelling some interesting things this week. The Quick #1 is frosting us nicely and smelling really nice. I grew it outdoors last year and they did alright but this one looks like its going to be a lot nice. The original Russian is fattening up same with the zkittles og 👌 I ended up topping one of the Lemon Ak's and she has turned in to a intresting little Bush. The stardawg is a tiny stinkin Christmas tree! Had the missile 33 outside for the last 2 weeks she is going to be the biggest plant out of the lot of them, she still hasn't started flowering at all yet but is a nice looking bush! Will bring her in when some of the other are finished and I have room in my tiny tent. Hope everyone's gardens are doing well, peace 🍁 Will take pictures of each individual plant again soon.
