Grow Update: Vanilla Latte Is on Day 27 Black Strap by Brother Mendels on Day 22 These are outdoor grows. Unfortunately the weather has been 100+ since germinated which is hindering growth. During the 100+ weather I use mister to keep them cool. Yes this did cause mild damage to the leaves but it was much better to keep them cool then to have them bake in this mini greenhouse setup. Heavy LST will take place through out the grow. I use standard twine which causes the least amount of stress possible in my opinion. Humboldt vanilla latte Auto has responded extremely well to training and has been a joy to work with. The black strap has also been okay but it is 5 days behind and is more indica dominant so its not taking the heat as good as the vanilla which is showing more saliva Dom traits. So far no complaints. Vanilla latte auto by HSO 1 of 10 seeds germinated. Blackstrap by brother mendels 1 of 1 germinated. It's in day 3 now and surviving outdoors with 100+ weather. Both seedlings are doing fantastic in the heat. Vanilla is on day 8 and blackstrap today is on day 3. Let's see how these go 🙌

Doubled the nutes this week, ive never followed the feeding chart because the regular feedings were enough. Since I'm outside and i figured I'd give it more to work with since I am trying to pull an obscene number with the size pot I'm working with and veg time. The nodes on the side branches are sort of reluctant to stretch out, same are big enough to train many aren't but nothing that should concern me. Had some crazy high winds today, I called that free training.

I counted the days again and came to the conclusion that I have 70 days full and harvested tonight. Enough brown and amber trichomes are also present. I'm excited to see how they taste and pop. They definitely look and smell very good. What's really funny: From the 2-3 week onwards, I turned both TS1000s up to 100% for 18 hours a day. I just wanted to find out my cap. I used around 100kW/h and €40 less in electricity costs. Compared to my last grow with Feminized and 10 weeks of flowering + Veggy. I wouldn't have expected that. Well... let it dry in peace first. Giving her banana peel tea everyday 100mls with a 200ml of water. Hairs are turning orange and now just waiting for them to fatten up.

Week 2, started with LST

This one has been the second easiest harvest we ever did (back to the Purple Punch), the plant lost many leaves by herself, still pretty easy. she has a strong flavour and we literally cant wait to smoke her.

Growth has been good even with serious power / lighting issues. But with effort the plants had very little down time. The heads are starting to look thicker and continue to stack and grow. Some of the plants are more frosty then others but that is pheno variation more than anything. Really looking like we may have a substantial yield in the next 5-6 weeks. The plants are being watered heavily with 2-3 day long dry periods and it seems to make the growth after a feeding just insane.

24/02: Colas again have become real heavy in places and have had to strap them together to prevent the stalks from falling and snapping. Over all blooming well have been on maximum dose of nutrients now for a few weeks. lots of orange hairs. water now for a week and then to harvest. the topping in this grow really paid off.

Chopping Time

Purple Punch Auto gibt Vollgas. Krasser Stretch, sehr durstig. Ich habe Verfärbungen in den Blättern entdeckt. Chlorosen? Insgesamt sieht sie weiterhin fit aus. Ich versuche ein sanftes Spülen gegen eine evtl. Versalzung. Später stellt sich heraus, dass das wahrscheinlich geholfen hat.

Hey guys, late into week 5 finally have some time to tend to the gals. It's been almost a week since I last watered them. We had 2 thunderstorms roll in so that kept the ladies quenched but when i went to check them out today most of them were pretty dry. Before I watered them, I topped off the soil level with some more promix hp and started our first topdressing. As usual 2tbs per gal @ 70/30 ratio of 444 to 284. I'm my case 21tbs to 9tbs. After that I water them with 50mL of molassas in 5gal of dechlorinated water with each plant raking about 3L of water. I also defoliated some under growth and to clean up the canopy to allow more light to penatrate prime grow sites. Last week I noticed some fungus gnats flying around, so I put up yellow fly traps with bamboo skewers (best way imo). I also did a preventive maintenance and watered the girls last week with neem oil soil drench to kill off any larvae or eggs that may have been laid. So good so far, as the traps did not have many gnats on them. Other than the usual pm items done, the ladies are taking off quite fast, so I need to stay ontop of things when I can! Defoliated all around tops to bring the main canopy of fan leaves below this (at strip level). Hoping this results in light reaching all parts of all available bud sites. Fingers crossed! This girl is a beast. I've read this strain can be problematic but I've not noticed any issues whatsoever. Been an absolute beauty to grow and I hope she turns out good in all aspects as I'll be preserving the pheno if so.
