D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I hope the Choco Haze won't be too bushy, even if I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones ! One of the four ChocoHaze is growing a bit slower. What is weird, is that it's the one in the center of the grow room. Isn't it supposed to be the one that have the bigest amount of light ? I guess it comes from this specific phenotype.... we'll see, maybe she'll explose in the next days ! Who knows !

Only water

This week I top all 8 Green Poison ( 4dwc and 4 coco ) clones. They look healthy and happy and few days later I already start to low stress training (LST) them.

And again on 09/02/20 Auto speed bud is pretty much an experimental strain since its so fast. 65 days from sprout to harvest. 3 are looking really good. The other 3 not so much. We'll see what happens

3 Phenos of Wedding Glue. Dense Nugs I tried three types of training intensities. Pheno 1 I topped all cola sites twice for more tops. Pheno 2 I topped each site once. Pheno 3 I topped the main cola once and tied down the whole plant. Pheno 1 will have the the biggest harvest. Pheno 2 will have the most trichomes and turning purple. Pheno 3 has the largest orange colas. Going to push the trichomes this time. The trichomes are finally starting to turn milky. They were clear for a long time it seemed. I am anxious to harvest these plants and try the flower.

Nothing really happened besides that I once again missed my watering schedule 😟 and heat was not being kind. The tent reached a maximum temp. of 32° C (or 89.6° F) which as a lot but sadly there's little I can do about that 😢 There's a photo this week that shows how Pistachio looks after I didn't water her in the right day, the recovery is impressive! I also increased the amount of PK and gladly there are no signs of over fertilization as well, so I'll keep doing this! 😃 Trichomes are developing, some of them are white-ish but most of them are still transparent. They are getting there! I also learned a new technique for my macro photographies so probably they'll be better this week compared to previous ones! The new HVAC for soil is performing well, allowing me to incorporate flood/drought style to watering, without any worry of overwatering, Cannabis has a "sweet spot" where stress response to "drought" can be triggered before the negative effects of drought can impact growth dramatically, During night time plants process all the stored energy from photosynthesis as a by-product of cellular respiration and releases a lot of water vapor RH% into the air, don't water at night, water in the morning. Just got done with trimming the 4x4 @greenhouseseedco Super Silver Haze / @blimburnseeds Silver Surfer Haze tent. The final yield is exactly 1000g plus some (kind of a lot)that I smoke in the last 2 weeks 😃 Also got 6, gallon size ziploc bags filled with good quality trim for concentrate. To be honest I was expecting a little more but keeping in mind that this grow I did not supplemented with bottled CO2 I think I’m good with the results. Definitely I enjoyed a lot this grow and I’ve learned even more.

Well, the drought stress in week 11 really fucked my plants up, but Twiggy recovered, while Zoey was hurt pretty bad. If I did nothing, I'm betting harvest would've been 25% more, and Zoey's buds wouldn't look so crappy, but overall, I was so happy with this grow! I was under a time crunch, so only did minimal veg for 4 weeks, topping once. Daily watering with 1.8EC mix that was pretty consistent. Kept pH between 5.5 and 5.8. Kept tight control on humidity and temperature up to mid flower, then kept air circulation on to keep room humidity around 55% Things I'd do differently: 1. Veg longer - I'd love to try a mainline 2. Canopy control - wish I had spent the time on a SCROG screen, or at least a couple of rings. 3. More light sooner into flower. Waited about 4 weeks into flower before maxing out the light. Probably could've bulked them up significantly if I started earlier 4. Drought stressing - For Fucks Sake, keep a close eye on your plants, and the minute they start to wilt, get the water back on 'em!!! 5. Measure your run-off more frequently for salt build-up. Didn't have any problems, but it's a good best practice. 6. Set up proper closed-loop environment to allow for CO2 enrichment. 7. Set up a clone environment before you get to flower. Oops. Things I was happy with: 1. VPD control system (heat, humidity) during veg and early flower worked flawlessly. Never any nute burn, and super healthy plants. 2. Sterilized soil and grow-room before starting - never had a single bug or any mold/mildew issues. Used a MERV 13 filter on the air intake, exhaust through carbon to crawlspace. 3. Coco/perlite mix - super drainage, low build-up, very healthy roots. 4. Power meter - neat way to measure what's really going into the grow, so when your wife complains about power usage, you can show her the real numbers. 5. Photone app on Android S20 - Knew where my PPFD was for optimal growth control. 6. REX-C100 PID controller for toaster oven - super tight temperature control comes in handy for decarbing as well as toasting oak for moonshine.

This is my first grow and I'm following the canuck method because it's the easiest . Eventually I would like to get into high frequency fertigation with a coco medium but I want to produce a great smoke in soil first to get some experience.
