End of Week 4, Defoliated and more training, first feed at 378 ppm. Humidity is high so added the dehumidifier. Hoping for another week of veg before flower but some are looking ready to go. Just started another journal with Papaya Cookies and Pound Cake.

Hello Diary. Medusa F1 is definitely a record holder, in less than 70 days from the time it sprouted, it matured and was harvested. The second Medusa will wait a few more days, she is not yet completely ready. But incredibly, 12/01/2023 was planted and 21/03/2023 was harvested. 68 days from the day it sprouted, incredibly fast. I've always thought that if the plant grows so fast, the result won't be great, but with Medusa, that's not the case. The plant is full of hard fragrant flowers. As you can see in the photos, the leaves were completely yellowed so I removed them before cutting the branches and putting them in a box to dry. Since the second plant still needs light, I put the first plant to dry in a box to protect it from light. This week watering was usual, every three days. The conditions are great, the humidity is very low, below 40%, which is great because of the drying, and the temperature is around 26 degrees. Here's what it looked like last week. 15/03/2023 - Day 50. Watering. I prepared 7 liters of water, lowered the pH. to 6.0 and watered both plants evenly with that amount. 18/03/2023 - Day 53. Watering. The same procedure as three days earlier. 21/03/2023 - Day 56. Photographing and harvesting the first Medusa F1. I'm just really pleased with how things went from start to finish. Now it remains to harvest the second plant and wait for them to dry to see what kind of fruits I got. This is all from me regarding the Medusa F1, if anyone has any questions, feel free to write. At the start of week 8 all 3 girls are showing preflowers! They have started stretching a good amount. I will apply nutrients on day 5 just before I leave for vacation. I added 5ml of Flying Skull Z7 to my reservoir. On day 3 of week 8 I added another 5 gal bucket reservoir for my Blumats, which will work through a siphon to essentially raise my reservoir volume to 10 gal for my upcoming vacation. I defoliated the centers of each plant to improve light penetration and airflow. On day 4 of week 8 I took clones from each Pheno. On day 5 of week 8 I applied weekly nutrients. I also filled up and adjusted the PH of my 2- 5 gal reservoirs in preparation for vacation tomorrow (I adjusted the PH to 5.5 in hopes that it will naturally drift up over the week I'm gone to no higher than 6.5). I wont have much updates until the 15th of April 😳🙏 (I will post pics from my security camera while I'm away)

Another fun week! Really starting to believe in this strain. We have now filled 80/81 squares with atleast 1 bud, most have 3. The lower flowers have made a sprint for the surface so happy with that. Applied some high stress training this time around as I really wanted a flat canopy from this point. A dozen or more branches bent off at a 90 degree angle to achieve that. Only one casualty. Upped the food to about 125% what ghe recommends along with some future harvest ton o bud. Did a really good flush and clean with half strength solution as I refilled. Decided to add a little phosphoric acid as i hadn't been for a few weeks. Flower set is coming along nicely. Plant 1 is still way ahead, but fairly docile whereas plant 2 finally put on some flowers and had started to stretch. Plant 1, oddly enough, has actually slowed its internodal growth and is starting to pack on the buds🤷‍♂️ As far as the phenotypes go, I think I lucked out and got two different purple varieties. I could be dead wrong, but both plants seem to show purple on early flower set. The mature fans look oddly lanky for a pure indica🤔 I have a half dozen clones that will hopefully take as I'd really like to give this strain another go. Til' next week🙌

Alaskan Purple auto is doing good. She had a solution change. I also trimmed out the bottom of the plant today. While doing some selective defoliation in the canopy. She is doing good under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. She is stretching now, and should start developing her colas soon. Week 9 Update – Pushing Limits 🌿 Everything is running as it should, but AN#3 is completely maxed out—there’s no more room left in the tent. One thing is clear, though: the difference in stem thickness between BioBizz#1 and AN#4 is striking, likely due to Rhino Skin. AN#4 is also developing a gorgeous layer of frost as expected. ❄️ BioBizz#1 – BT35 The CalMag issue is fully under control now—she’s getting 140/40 and shows no visible deficiencies anymore. Overall, she’s in great shape! AN#4 – BT35 There’s a minor calcium deficiency visible on one leaf, but at this stage, it’s not a concern. Advanced Nutrients CalMag Xtra is doing its job well at 1ml/L. EC: 2.4 pH: 6.5 Drain: pH 6.1 (EC not measurable due to organic soil). AN#3 – BT31 She’s lagging slightly behind the others, though she should be further along. This is due to suboptimal conditions—she’s far too close to the light, and there’s nothing I can do about it. Supercropping is nearing its limits, but thankfully, vertical growth has almost stopped! EC: 2.4 pH: 6.5 Drain: pH 6.1 (EC not measurable due to organic soil).

Week 8 of 9 for Do-si-dos! This girl is also appreciating the extra feeding even though she shows the least amount of deficiency. Not much else to say about this girl, this week.

The lady's are a bit shocked after the ✂️ decapitation (topping) on 10-05. going for 6/8 cola's per plant👌 Stay tuned growmies 💚

Ended the last week of veg going into flower!! Excited never grown photoperiods! Second grow ever! Sprayed them down one last time with NEEM oil. Top dressed w/ elemental, foundation, and bloom from Roots Organic’s. The plants at the bottom that you saw are Dj Short Newberry.

Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

She had a mutant leaf but she kept on growing through it, it's a little funky still but not as bad as it first looked. She seems to be thriving now so all is good.
