Week 8/9 Challenges & Continued Growth! (May 21st - May 31st) Welcome back, dudes! This update covers the period from May 21st to May 31st. We've got some good progress, but also a minor hiccup that I've been tackling. It looks like I messed up with the pH for a bit, and as a result, my White Widow XXL Auto has developed a visible Cal-Mag deficiency. This is a bummer, but it's something I'm actively working to correct. Live and learn, right? I'll be keeping a close eye on her and adjusting things to get her back on track. The good news is that the other girls are handling things much better: Auto Banana Blaze (Dutch Passion) - Both Plants: Both Banana Blazes are feeling good and continuing to progress well. They seem less sensitive to the slight pH fluctuation and are just cruising along. Auto Kong 4 (Paradise Seeds): The Auto Kong 4 is still doing its own thing. Up until now, it's primarily been on just water, but I did add some GHF Bio Grow to her recently to give her a boost. She's looking healthy and building structure. Overall, it's a mixed bag this week with the White Widow showing some stress, but the rest of the crew is powering through. It's a constant learning process, especially when trying to balance multiple plants with slightly different needs. Stay tuned for the next update as I work to resolve the deficiency and these plants push further into flowering!

Had some severe drooping on one side of the plant. It was kind of weird, but most likely nothing. I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 2.5 gal every other day now. Growing strong. Untied the LST ties to move them and rearrange the greenhouse. Going to leave them untied. I hate having to water around the ties 😭 Just did another spinosad treatment. Haven’t seen any more thrips since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

Hello everyone, gardening brothers! my gorgeous nuggets are starting to get a little chilly! ❄️ these girls have risen a lot and we had to adopt more techniques to keep them at bay we had some small led burns .... but nothing serious....

A new plant was born, thanks to the seeds of Sweet Seeds, I hope the best girl will grow up

She is easily the smallest girl in the tent. This week she was transplanted into her forever home. A 38 litre airpot. The timelapse is the whole week except a few hours when I was repotting.

Less is more. Lesson learned. Without training these plants, having the fifth plant has really cramped the tent. Because I have limited space for the tent, access into the sides isn't possible. I have only the front entrance. Next time I think I will stick yo maybe three strains that have been positive and try and find the time to train more. The WOS-Northern/Skunk has grown out so nicely into a Xmas tree type of posture. She is making her really good friends with her neighbours, perhaps to their detriment. Seedsman Blueberry continues to be solid and unphased by anything. This is the first time I have smelled a plant that has such a fruity aroma. It really took me aback in surprise. Very cool. HiFi 4G needs support. Did a McGyver solution for the time being. Doesn't appear to have bulked up much this week. Jack is about the same. A bit of bulk up but not expecting this one to be a big yielder. Appears healthy overall so I'm happy. CBD+ bulked up for sure on the main cola's. I'm skeptical she will be done at 60 days at this point....but have to trust what Dinafem are telling me. Be safe folks.

This cultivation I lost a little bit the size that could reach . 😓 The light stayed too much close of the plant .

She spread her wings this week. Lower leaves widened and color deepened. I added more Bio365 around her base to support the stretch and keep her rooted. No top dress. No sprays. She’s growing in silence, absorbing the rhythm of the light. Every new node a sign she’s preparing. No water was added this week, and the self-watering reservoir was maintained.

Sorry for the late updank. Not a whole lot to report but some awesome stacking and packing. She is def on serious cruise control. Been warm here the past few days so my heat has been a lil higher than normal but i have been keeping it in check. I want to thank everyone for your awesome coments I love it. At the end of the day, she's overall healthy and strong Day 42 Time to feed the babies, so we added 900PPM (300ml) floranova grow Followed by 1590ppm (300ml) flora nova bloom to make sure she's got all nutrients balanced well, also added 400ml of plain water after that so they could get a nice run off. I think they're happy and we gonna check on them in a couple days to see how they go, Ph is around 6.2 which is great Temp outdoors from 7-@ 1pm around 25C to 36C Then back indoors Temp is 28C and drop to 22 at night and dawn so they're good and comfortable Keeping humidity lvls around 40/65% top Nice AC and Fan for air circulation Thank you all for your support

10-14 Buildabloom 1/2 tap 10-16 Water Water between 500-700 ml a day. 10-18 Fed 450 ppm build a bloom 10-19 Water few leaves removed. Love her smell. Lemon, lime, sourish! I definitely over filled my tent and this one felt it the most. But mainly because I didn't know what to expect. Somehow she has not been over fed, yet! I still got time! Im excited for her and to grow her again! Oh and to learn to not over feed more than anything. Think imma try just drit, till shes hungry, then do water feeds! When hungry 🤣🤞 .

2 of my Blueberries were root bound one more than the other.. i transplanted them into soil in a bigger pot. I Have a bunch of strains going on but one vegging mother soon ready to get in under the CFL. Loving the HPS tho wont go back to LED any time soon. Feeding with CANNA terra nute line and using the last Bud candy and big bud from Advanced Nutrients before going full canna. The monster crop was a succes but it took long before shooting. Hope my other clone will do better. I have a very healthy strawberry banana that will be my motherplant as well as a sweet valley kush that are just a seedling now. I am very happy with the HPS from phillips it work wonder in my oppinion :) I started 12/12 as well this week

Ya estoy de vuelta, hay errores con la página al subir los vídeos pero es igual, los intentaré subir otro rato si no suben ya. Estas misty gorilla auto tienen un ritmo frenético , estoy con la modalidad LST , y la verdad que con esta variedad es muy recomendable. Regulo el ph en 6,2 la temperatura no sube de 26 grados y la humedad oscila el 50%. Están bajo un CFL de 250w. Estas autos están siendo alimentadas con la gama completa de AgroBeta. Sin zambeza y sin AgroBeta esto no es posible así que gracias 🙏. Un saludo fumetillas.

Questa è l’ultima settimana. Faccio fino alla 10 con il flush e dopo taglio

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. I guess the correct headline here is bud rot. Took a while to figure out why I ran into these issues, after a bit more snooping around and investigating I came to a mostly certain conclusion. My passive intake was clogged with dust, barely any air was coming into the grow room. This, coupled with the fact my temperature and RH sensor/recorder was giving me back dated information and applying it to the present day. I didn’t realise I was getting 80%+ RH spikes during lights out for the last 3 weeks. I’ll call it a lesson, and start to check things more regularly around the grow room, not just the plants themselves. After a heavy crop scout with sterilised gloves and alcohol rub to hand, I carefully pulled back and inspected every cola, washing my hands between each cola. Unfortunately most of the largest colas fell victim to botrytis, in the end I cut off 7 colas completely and carefully sorted through into 3 separate piles on D100. One pile was the bin put into double tied sandwich bags with a good spray with 70% alcohol , this contained directly infected areas with a 5cm radius. (235g including fan leaves and stems (wet)) The second pile was for buds that were within 10cm of the rot sites that appeared to be healthy, this went into a brown paper bag, ready for hash making when I complete the harvest in the next couple weeks. (305g including buds and sugar leaves (wet)) The third, and most limited pile was bud sites that were more than 10cm away from the rot sites. These are now successfully dried and are now in their curing jars. Based on the smell, they already smell better than my last harvest so I’m hoping it’s a sign of things to come. (58g buds (dry)) I had to buy a 4x4 tent to temporarily dry the good buds, and will use again when I do the main harvest. The top colas that are left look a little stressed this week, not sure if it’s to do with shock from early harvest, but I am going in and checking every other day with clean clothes to make sure the problems are not progressing further. Based on the trichomes (video) the samples look like they’re a week or two away from harvest now, so hopefully I won’t have the throw anymore away before then. Anyway, waffling over, mainly wanted the detail for my own reference if I ever have to come back to this (I hope not). Good luck all!
