Chopped her on day 83 from sprout. Discovered some Bananas on Christmas, the plant looked due anyway so no worries, wanted to chop her anyway, guess I was right with the timing and the plant showed me it is done and did a last attempt to pollinate itself, normal behavior in my opinion, also the Bananas were blanks, didn't see any pollen. Overall great strain, will use this strain to test the limits of the prototype of my new hydro system. No mold or anything, vigorous growth, easy to train, stems did bend and not snap but are stiff enough to hold their weight. Buds are very dense, some might think the buds are a little small but there are a lot of them, good sizes in my opinion, perfect little ready to take with you buds. Even the buds are the bottom are dense, I had lights at the bottom but even inside the canopy with little light they are dense! Plant turned purple wherever there was intense light on it, visible on the short clip I took of a top branch where below the bud where there is shadow from the bud above is the branch is green and a little lower where light reaches it turned purple. This purpeling in my opinion is a great and normal feature in plants overall, probably do not expect a purple plant unless you go with intense lightning and high CO2 values to handle it. 9/10 because it hermed at the very end, didn't hurt the result because the plant was done but it would be nice if it wouldn't do it to maybe let it go some more and trade THC for more CBN and even more yield, total yield is good as it is but more is always better :) Whoever reads this at the very bottom... I hope this diary helps you out for your next grow. I hope this diary also shows that fertilizer brands are more marketing than anything, my fertilizer costs me ~ 1/5 compared to Canna, Plagron etc. etc. and it works great. Yara is used for example by Demecan a medical Cannabis producers, if they use it why not you? This is no advertisement for Yara, use Haifa or whatever just maybe don't buy overpriced fertilizer with big marketing and rather put that saved money in good quality genetic seeds. Update: dried weight is 320g total, smoked a little besides that so maybe 330? didn't count how much so I didn't add that to the total, but it was a little more. Tastes like Wrigley's Spearmint gum! Will definitely grow this one again, so far my #1 from what I've grown, just dense, frosty and good tasting, can't really complain. 🙏 In case anyone from Mephisto reads this, make this a permanently available Strain 🙏

In the end I was pretty happy and surprised about the dense and hard buds! Especially when I think about the way we had to move this plant in a setup that was completely crap except the LEDs.

Black Strap and Peach Crescendo getting close. I see they will get cut way before the Fat Bastard. Fat Bastard must have a long flowering period. But branch structure is thick. I will get a heavy yield from it. Peach Crescendo has so much frost on it. Ethos fkn rocks! Black Strap smells like baked cookies and gas.

Plants took a tumble while I was at work and came home to everything laying on the ground like a robbery. I also learned that my plants wasn't burning but in fact when the tree hit the deck the 33C heat and the roof torched the leaves. The vertical growth is slowing as it only grew 4" in the week so far, next summer hopefully I will use 20 gallons and not 12. Just solid knowledge for next year as I wanted all 3 tree to hit around 6ft after the stretch and all the training. Lost a few main branches on this plant so idk how realistic 1.5lbs is at this point

Very difficult for me to grow. So much foliage. This plant bushes out like crazy. She was also a real pain in the ass to harvest. You should strip her of every god damn leaf except for the top nodes right before flower or she will fill out to the point of cover up all the bud. I had to throw out a bunch of under developed flower because it was so bushy..

Another beautiful black cherry punch pheno but this one is one of the 2 which are completely purple, beautiful sweet aromas, I'm just in love with this strain man 🍒💎💚👨‍🌾🌱✌️

The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This strain by Dutch Passion is one of my all time favorite strains that I've cultivated previously with phenomenal results so I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! I'm going to things a bit different this time around. I have a brand spanking new AC Infinity 4x4 tent and was just given one of HLG's newest lights for 2022, The Blackbird! I've got this 600w monster hooked up to my Trolmaster Hydro X Controller so I've got full control over timing, dimming and Sunrise/Sunset. This beauty is going to annihilate the 4x4 for sure! 😎👍 I'm going to grow her all by herself and veg her for around 70-90 days after witch I'll install a trellis net in the tent and spread her out. Because of the slightly larger internodal distance, buds don’t have the tendency to become really big, which could make her a bit more interesting for growers with higher humidity levels. There should be enough fresh air around these flowers though, because they become rock-hard. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where it stayed until a tap root emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerged from the Jiffy Pellet she was transferred to a 1qt plastic pot. As she grows I'll be moving her into larger pots along the way up until she's in her 10g fabric pot. ~Grown in a 10g fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and fed Dutch Pro nutrients throughout the entire grow with de-chlorinated water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8. ~19/5 light cycle for vegetation, then 12/12 to flower with supplemental UVA added during the last weeks of flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~ Supplemental co2 provided throughout vegetation and flower - monitored and controlled by an AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked the seed for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which it was transferred to a moist paper towel laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉. After 30 hours she had not popped open yet so I soaked another seed for 3 hours and then into a paper towel and onto the heat mat it went. 12/3- This afternoon I checked and the seed had a root that was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 5 pm I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By the next morning she had her cotyledon leaves opened! 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the Dutch Passion Meringue! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 2qt plastic starter pot to begin growing. 12/7- Today when I checked her, she had roots just starting to emerge from her pellet, so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 'starter' pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! The warm weather has returned! (This has been such an odd year weather wise.) Also so has the humidity. There was a few days in between the end of last week and the middle of this one that were perfect, temps in the 60's and low humidity of like 40% RH. Looks like a lot of rain in the next coming week so just glad the girls get to soak up all this sun! An increase in nutes should also help with growth, slow and steady wins the race. Almost to peak level of nutrients, probably next week.

Hulk-Berry- starting to really develop b leaves are much larger and fat!! In 2 weeks we are definitely topping her. RuntZ- slow moving for some reason. 4th set of leaves but still stacking small. I am going to do some bacteria LABS and some SST. 10-27 OK, I added some fulvic/humid acid with Corn SST and Photosynthesis plus. Each one of the plants responded positively. The growth has sped up in development. Okay, all cylinders firing now. Hulk Berry is looking like it’s doing it’s Hulk thing, FINALLY. The leaves are getting larger and it’s trying to touch the lights. Runtz- My 3 little Kings 😂😂 2 of the3 have the same growth structure and speed. The 3rd one is kind of lagging behind. I loaded an app on my iPhone that measures the DLI. As I become more familiar with how it works, I think lighting will be on point at all stages. ( Daily Light Integral) DLI measures the amount of light hitting your plants. Keeping them within a certain range helps them grow to their peak when growing indoors. 10-29 Making some Corn, Lentil, Barley SST’s today. I rinse first using distilled water. I let each soak in a separate jar containing distilled water and 2-3 drops of seaweed/kelp to kick up sprouting faster ( works with seeds as well).

The plant is drinking over 3 gallons of water every day. I’ve lowered the PPM’s to 600. Everything seems to be ok now. I will try to change the reservoir water every 5 days from now on. She started to smell amazing! Very lemony 🍋 P.S. Lowerd the TDS to 550 PPM on day 46. Also just realized that I stressed my plan with to much light. I moved the light at 13” and dimmed to 95% ... I will continue to dim it 2% every day...
