WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. The flush is almost over and these are almost done. Few more days and they’ll be gettin chopped. Paying close attention the trichome head colors and ratios. Everything looks and smells fantastic. Fastbuds most definitely is a leader in the auto genetic world. More than pleased every time.

This has by far been the most stressful part of the grow. as I'm trying to increase yield as much as possible, and in doing so f£&ked around and found out the hard way. She has gone into what I would say is severe shock this on the 31/1/25 will be the 3rd day of shock hopefully she can pull through and start growing again 🙏 🤞

Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. I had to take a big decision. I know it is not good it is way too hot in the tent but needed to remove from my garden because of some reasons. Firstly, illegal which is fine but I do not want to take a risk for 3 g of harvest. She should start flowering in autumn when less sun and weather is basically shitty here in London it is okay to grow but when starts flowering.... so I planted an auto and saw that it wont yiled good so I was thinking what will happend to my Zkittlez in autumn when mush less sun and weather is going down. So realised I can have a 2-3 m plant but it ain't gonna flower just a bit. Soni decided to put under artificial light but it is summer my plants are suffering in the tent. Inhave no choice I will try to manage maximum I will cut back. Hopefully all goes ok. Day 86: Fucked up she was totally wilt I removed all the leaves basically the stalk left only..... she will be okay

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Big week, lot of bending, and not Always easy, some breakings...but quite a nice shape at the end. I defoliate a bit, and give them a 4h night now. Everything look nice, they are flowering and look healthy and very fast!

Week 27 for Gelato 41 by seedstockers, Shes survived the caterpillar attack 😂 Have found a few spots from bud rot from high humidity cant really help that as weather has been terrible just storms after storms of heavy rain 😐 dark clouds not much sun, we still have more rain coming with highest of 21 degrees...😒 Shes coming very close to her harvest window maybe 2 weeks time. Shes probably ready to come down but i want to push it a little longer because of those sativa traits.
