This has been an amazing growth once again and I got to do the compound genetics like been wanting to for a year. This stuff is so decked out

Day 43. Little sign of nute burn. No nutrients all week. First leaves cleanup. Growing strong.

Buds should be dried in the dark, 50% humidity, at 20 degrees

Boy oh boy, the final day of the first Medusa F1 Hybrid 1/5. Seed to harvest in 93 days. The first medusa F1 grew super fast. Her vegetative period was very short, showing white pistils at day 18 already, but grew into a beautiful lady. The first medusa was only subjected to LST and a little defoliation. The other Medusa plants from my diary (2/5 and 4/5),were topped and this definitely increased the amount of flower sites. Nevertheless, she grew thick and fat with heavy buds smelling like a sweet petrol station. The pistils turn bright orange and many calyxes are formed with hardly any leaves in between. I noticed after week 11 she started producing new calyxis with white pistils and therefore I waited a bit longer. I would recommend this and wait a bit longer to see if it happens for you too. Some trichomes were starting to turn amber and I maybe could have waited a little longer, also for the lower part to develop more. She was cut down on the 18th of July and was placed in my dark dry tent for 13 days at a temperature of 18 °C and a humidity of 60%. A long and slow dry is important to preserve terpenes. After 13 days, on the 31st of July, the branches were making a cracking sound when bending, so I decided to take the branches out of the drying tent and trim them. My 4 x 200W lights (on the box) only pull 50W from the wall so I think they are not super good. I made pictures with a Nikon camera and a white background. I smoked some and she tastes peppery with a sweet aftertaste. I will smoke more after a good long cure for at least 2-4 weeks in my jars. Check the progress of my other medusa F1 diaries and see the full experiment if topping is beneficial for these F1's. I would recommend trying out these amazing genetics and see for yourself. Great job Royal Queen Seeds for breeding these cultivars.

04/13/25: The plants have now fully adjusted to their new environment, and all five are looking vibrant and happy. Leaf posture is strong, color is rich, and the canopy is filling in nicely. They’re handling the training and topping well, showing no signs of stress, and overall growth has remained consistent. While inspecting them before today’s round of training, I noticed what appear to be early signs of male pre-flowers on PP1 and PP4. It’s still too early to be certain, but it’s looking like I may already be down to three possible females. I’ll be keeping a close eye on them over the next week—things should become much more clear soon. Today I topped all five plants again—this time at the first node of each of the four main branches created from the last topping. This will help build out a broader, more evenly structured canopy. I also used plant ties to gently pull down each of the branches to open up light penetration across the plant. In addition to branch training, I used ties to lightly hold back some of the larger fan leaves on the lower two branches to help expose new growth sites. I’ll leave those fan leaves on for another 3 to 4 days as the new tops develop, then remove them to redirect energy upward and continue opening the structure. They were also watered today with a light nutrient mix, similar to last week’s. The plants still look very nutrient-rich, so there was no need to push the EC any higher just yet. Based on the current rate of uptake, I expect they’ll be ready for another watering in about 3 to 4 days. If anything noteworthy comes up—especially regarding sexing—I’ll update sooner. Otherwise, I’ll be back in a few days to document a light defoliation and any continued developments.

Casey's Rollex OG is growing good. She is transitioning more into flowering and should be toward the end part of her stretch. She was lollipopped today and a selective defoliation done across the canopy. She has been eating a lot and is looking good. She's looking very nice on this week, developing a lot of new bud sides so let's see if I can achieve an ideal shape before I flip them into flowering stage. Remember to do that you need to give the plants 12hs or less of light. She's 100% organic grown with Florians living organics.

Zkittlez #1 has been building some nice bud structure and is starting to smell really nice up close. Zkittlez #2 has seemed to stop stretching as much measuring at 3 ft 5 for now can't raise the light an more so hopefully that will be the end of the stretch and time for her to focus on bud structure. There are lots of bud sites building on her too many to count now which is a brilliant thing to say XD. The 2 pineapple chunk photoperiods are still developing nicely in their negative state and have been undergoing L.S.T to keep the canopy low and even. planning to do a 100 day veg on them (hopefully just enough time for both Zkittlez to mature and then harvest) and then FLIP! starting to give all plants a weekly spray of Canna-cure to help prevent any infestations.

She is all done stretching now and soon will have fat smelly buds. She's doubles in size in the past week progress has been great coco coir is defiantly the way forward! Feeding 7L ever other day have switched to bloom feed. Install a carbon filter and extractor fan to bring the tempter down and fam to keep buds from roating. Will need to get a better reflector to allow more light to reach the edges of the tent.

Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. Hola! Antes que nada, quería pedir disculpas por no poder continuar las semanas de vegetación como correspondía, pero por cuestiones personales se me hizo imposible. Las fotos corresponden al ultimo dia de la semana 13 de la planta, el día 6/02/2021. En todo este periodo de crecimiento vegetativo realice mainlining, como muestro en la semana 5 subida, y luego deje que las dos ramas se desarrollen hasta tener 5 nudos cada una y realice en ambos extremos una poda apical, o topping. Luego, con tecnicas de LST fui torciendo las ramas para que vayan creciendo mas o menos parejas, pero al ser un cultivo outdoor obviamente esto no sucede tan prolijamente como en un indoor. Mas alla de eso, estoy contenta con el resultado: 10 ramas principales y muchas pequeñas en la vegetación. Fui haciendo defoliaciones suaves, y ahora le tocará la ultima antes de que empiece a florecer. Con respecto a esto, la planta sexó finales de enero, pero recién ahora esta comenzando a mostrar signos de que esta por empezar a florar, así que la semana que viene será la primera de flora. Esto por mas que parezca raro suele ser común por lo menos en esta region, muchas veces las plantas sexan antes y no muestran signos de comenzar a florecer hasta unas cuantas semanas después, nada que ver a como ocurre cuando uno controla el fotoperiodo. Por suerte la temporada viene siendo mas seca de lo normal, y poco lluviosa, por lo que tuve problemas con trips pocos días. En general cuando tocan veranos lluviosos se vuelve muy complicado tratar las plagas. En particular en mi patio suelo tener problemas con trips, pero no de otras plagas ya que las plantas de acompañamiento son suficiente para espantarlas. En las fotos notaran que el tronco principal esta partido en dos, esto sucedió cuando se le cayo un peso importante encima hace 4 semanas, pero con unas rápidas ataduras y la correcta nutrición la planta sano al 100%. Esto ha sido todo. Cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida. 💪 Saludos!! 😘

This girl looks fantastic on tje beginning of the 2nd wewk of flower she's developing beautiful flowers,she's being fed 100% organically I applied my lactobacillus serum and also bat guano liquid by guanokalong she's doing very good so far,let's see how she ends up however I think that she's a very good automatic plant to train with lst she's getting pretty big and bushy,she's responding very well. Week 5 done and dusted and these girls have started their flowering stage, stoked! This week has been a bit slow growing for them unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't been tending to them as much as I would have liked. I started the week with an over water and then neglected them for a few days and and they dried right out. They were not looking happy. I then top dressed the girls with Herbi's all natural nutrients, 2.5 tablespoons of bloom and 2.5 of Veg mixed in with 5 tablespoons of Worm castings for each girl and i got back to regular watering. They've sprung back up to life but I can't help but think it's another bit of stunt they didn't need. I've bent this girl over and I'm continuously pulling her head over around the pot, just trying different techniques with each girl. Some light defoliation as well. She's hasn't had the best week but I'm hoping she bounces back soon Hope you had a good week, and thanks for checking in 🙏

Well time for the chop, I'm not waiting any longer! 10 weeks on a "fast" "ruderelis" cross my a@$! None the less she smells amazing, thick strawberry old school hash at the moment.
