I'm very happy with this weeks progress. They transitioned very well to the garden, which I'm chocking up to the row cover. They didn't need any water due to the thunderstorm we had last night, but I did make a ring around the base of each plant and gave them about 1-2 TBSP of the Coast of Maine Stonington Blend fertilizer. They also got their tomato cages.

So there were a couple little things I did to the tenth I removed some of the very low but that we're definitely not getting anywhere close to the canopy in fact they're only sticking up about three and a half for in above the trellis net so got rid of those guys and I moved the air conditioner Inlet to the top of the tent other than that the girls are doing really well

This week started with a milestone: transplant day. The little Purple Kush was ready to leave her starter pot behind and step into her first real home – a 3.5 L production container. Nothing extravagant, no decorative fabric pots or “Instagram gear.” Just a simple, practical setup with coco/perlite 70/30. Because here, it’s not about looks – it’s about results. To make the move stress-free, I used the “pot-in-pot” method. It’s as simple as it gets: place the small pot into the bigger one, fill around it, pull it out, and you’re left with a perfect socket. Then it’s just a matter of gently tapping the bottom, sliding the seedling out with the rootball intact, and dropping her straight into the new slot. No torn roots, no drama. The medium was freshly buffered and still moist, so I skipped watering. Instead, I let the roots dig in and claim their new space. And it worked – four days later, Purple Kush looked like nothing happened. Wide leaves, clean growth, zero signs of stress. Sometimes simplicity really is the secret. By the end of the week, two things caught my eye. The plant started stretching a bit – trading some stem thickness for vertical gain – and at the same time, it became clear just how much potential she holds. So I decided: no more waiting. It’s time to flip the switch. Next week, we go full rocket mode. Photoperiod stays at 16/8, but PPFD jumps to 750–800 µmol/m²/s. The environment remains steady: 28 °C by day, 18–21 °C by night, 60–65% RH. To close this week, I gave her the first proper feed: a balanced mix with potassium at about twice the nitrogen, phosphorus kept lean, K boosted with potassium sulfate, plus 1 ml/L of Canna MONO for micros. Final numbers: EC 1.1, pH 5.8. A soft intro. The next irrigations? Pure rocket fuel. Purple Kush is settled in, comfortable, and about to be pushed. The goal is simple: take this tiny setup and squeeze out maximum performance. Technical Focus: Stage: BBCH 12–14 (first to third true leaves). Environment: 28 °C day / 18–21 °C night, 60–65% RH. Light: Photoperiod 16/8, PPFD ramped up to 750–800 µmol/m²/s. Medium: Coco/perlite 70/30, freshly buffered. Pot size: 3.5 L production container. Fertigation: EC 1.1, pH 5.8. K:N ratio ~2:1, light starter feed with potassium sulfate + Canna MONO micros. Focus: Smooth transplant → root expansion → prep for accelerated veg under higher light intensity.

Today is the beginning of the 5th week I see the first sings of hairs/pistles she does not need feeding so I am going to top dress her with some local bat guano and some raw bloom stage microbes in prep for the next feeding. Hopefully she gives me some more stretch. Side not I know I could be asking a lot of questions but would just rather learn the process by watching her and see what she does and when so I can better programe in the process for any other auto grow. I feed her on sunday/yesterday just to add an update. See above nutrients and additives.

📅 Week 8 | 🗓️ Day 50–56 Day 56 – Lemon Cherry Runtz 🍋🍒 (flipped to 12/12 on Day 50) 🔸 She put on some size this week. The canopy is compact and even, with many side branches sitting at the same height. Tape reads ~50 cm. 🔸 Leaves are a rich, healthy green with no spots or burnt tips. I’m still tucking the big fans every day so the lower sites stay lit. 🔸 At ~700 PPFD on 12/12, that’s a DLI ~30 mol/m²/day—right where I want it for the transition/stretch. SANlight 80% @ ~40 cm feels dialed in. 🔸 Looking ahead: in Week 9 I expect the first tufts of pistils on most tops. I’ll do a light defoliation/lollipopping if needed and keep stakes ready. She’s still a touch smaller than Papayton, but she’s catching up nicely in her own tempo. 📈 Current Conditions 🌡️🔆 = 24°C 🌡️🌜 = 19°C 💨 Humidity = 60% 🔦 PPFD = 700 µmol (12/12) 🛠️ Setup (unchanged) 💡 2 x SANlight Evo 4 - 120 ⛺ 120 x120 x 180 Spiderfarmer 🍯 Pots: 18 liter fabric pots 🌱 Soil: Bio-Bizz light mix 💊 Nutrients: BIO Tabs only water method 💧 Water: Tap Water 0,5 EC 🌱 “Easy, organic, only-water method. 118 CM! What-a-stretch!! Lol I forgot to give her week 2 ferts and gave her week 3 ones instead (removing Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, adding B-52, Big Bud and Nirvana). No problem because she already had two portions of fungi and bacteria when I had problems with the timer some weeks ago. Well she’s getting bigger and bigger. I’m a Sativa lover, and this is definitely a big gift to me.

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The short one never did stop making the hook leaves on all her new growth, but she seems happy..budding faster than anybody else.. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Day 21 of flowerig going great. Gelato strain was too much bushy, so we had to defoliate it. Now all the works are done, only have to wait buds to get fat 😁.

Seguimos creciendo fuerte!💪

Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. Every corner, every canopy, every branch tells a story — and this week, I’ve taken the time to slow down and capture that story as best I can through the lens of my camera. All the photos you’ll see in this update were taken with care and intention. I use my Sony camera in full manual focus mode, and I don’t just snap and go — I spend time with each plant, each angle, waiting for that perfect moment when everything aligns. These are not just photos to document — they’re my attempt to reflect the feeling of the room, the energy of the grow, and the soul of each plant. Just like with the videos, I don’t shoot randomly and decide later. I record what matters, and what I record, I use. It keeps me focused, organized, and deeply connected to the process — and I believe it helps me tell the story more clearly, whether through stills or moving pictures. All five Runtz phenos are finishing beautifully. Each one expressing unique traits, but all carrying the same stunning quality — dense, clean, colorful, resin-rich flowers that fill the room with pride. This garden is finishing spotless, and I couldn’t be happier. This week’s YouTube episode will reflect that beauty. If you’re seeing this here on GrowDiaries, I highly recommend checking it out in full 4K once it’s live — there are moments that simply can’t be translated in photos alone, even though I try my best. But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. For me, the trade-off is worth it — the plants are expressing themselves beautifully, finishing strong, and packing on the final magic. Now it’s your turn — I’d love to hear from you. Which phenotype is standing out the most to you in this garden? Which one is catching your eye with its colors, its fade, its structure, or just that vibe that speaks to your soul? Is it the frost? The density? The posture? Each of these girls has her own personality, and I know many of you have been following closely — so drop a comment, let me know: which one is your favorite? Which one would you take home? This run has officially earned the Dog Doctor Official Wax-Sealed Stamp of Approval. These genetics are beautiful — expressive, vibrant, clean. It’s been a joy to grow them, and an even greater joy to share this journey with all of you. Of course, we still have the final word coming after harvest, drying, and curing — that’s when the full picture reveals itself. But until then, based on everything we’ve seen and lived in this grow… this is the real deal. To everyone following the journey — thank you. To the sponsors, the community, the silent observers, the passionate growers, the haters, the lovers — I see you all, and I appreciate every bit of energy you send. This cup has been about more than just growing. It’s been about sharing. Connecting. Creating something beautiful together. And we’re almost there. Next stop: harvest? provably yes lets see ! The ladies light schedule was changed to 12/12 on Oct.30!❤️ The girls were doing great about 1 week after their big defoliation and SCROG being put in, I decided to flip to flower. I had been tucking and bending and had achieved about 80-90% canopy coverage, the last bit should fill in this week as they begin to stretch. During the 1st week of flower transition, I continued to tuck and bend where I could, trying to maintain an even canopy of tops, as well as fill in as many of the squares, as evenly as I can. It becomes a morning and night routine, I check on my humidifier, say good morning, and tuck away for about 5 minutes or so, it doesn’t take much at this point. Once the first week of stretch is through, I stop tucking branches and allow the tops to continue to grow upwards. I find that by using a SCROG method, there isn’t really a whole lot to do…I don’t defoliate until week 3, so it’s just feeding every 3-4 days and filling my humidifier! When I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Another good week in the bag. The girls are getting water every day. The shortest one drinks the most. Interesting. They have a sugary smell to them. It's hard to describe. I'll be interested in the final smell. I decided to bust out the microacope and to my surprise the trichomes are pretty milky already! It's only been five weeks! Will monitor to see the amber but still for this early! Started using the UVB! Started at 30 minutes for a few days. Now at one hour. The tests started at two hours at three weeks out which would be now. So gonna increase tomorrow another thirty and continue to ramp up.

A week on and I have transplanted the girls from the nursery to the 15l pots. My main girl is doing well with leaf development and is coming to the second node of growth. One of the mutations is looking a lot better now and has a better shape to it. The third is still on the wild side but again I’ll stick with it and see what I get.
