Day 2; 48 hrs the Purple Star Killer seed's root was long enough to go into soil today. I use Happy Frog soil for seedlings. The soil cup will stay on the heat mat insuring the temp is kept at 75°F. Day1; 24 hrs and the Purple Star Killer seed has a visible tap root. I'll wait a little longer before putting it in soil. I like to see the root about a quarter inch before planting. Day 0; Germination, paper towel method.

17.3.25: I've starred a Hulkberry auto. This was the first pack of seeds I bought! I realised it was mostly sativa, but now I'm ready to give it a go! Made my soil mix, which I will update next week. Planted the seed into an RQS seed starter plug. Mainly to keep the seed in place when watering. Join my journey and hang out 🌱✌️

Still no amber trichomes in sight but starting flush from next watering. Only have 3 weeks till I move and need this all trimmed and dry within 3 weeks . Throwing every trick in the book at it get it to finish. Lifted light as high as I could get it and cut back to 75 % from 100. As well as cutting light hours back to 10/14

Week 10 - flush has been going for a few days now. Buds are looking snowy, the smell is gorgeous. Some of the leaves are showing a deep purple colour which is common in this strain. She's gonna look great when she's finished. Most of the leaves are showing nutes burn from me being over exuberant in the last Week with the nutes (should've stuck to the plan). After a bit of a chat with a fellow grower who has convinced me that my plant is not ready yet I've decided to keep feeding her for another week or so just hope I haven't ruined her by not feeding for a week. Day 69 and pulled her out of the tent for a bit of a tidy up and she looks amazing. She looks far better in her full glory than his in a tent. I'm very pleased with my first grow, made a few mistakes along the way, but she's looking better than I would of imagined.

Now we are in week 8. Plants stopped growing. I will let them grow two more weeks and then I will at least harvest two of them. Depending on the trichomes I will keep the other two for 4-5 weeks more, because I will be away ... traveling lets hope that the sun is coming out again and that the buds get bigger and bigger in the last two weeks. BTW I stopped giving any type of nutrients, just water.

Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common. May the force be with you 💪

The tent stanks lol but not outside of out, the carbon filter is doing an excellent job!!! cant wait to try her out, I know shes gonna have a little more, maybe alot more flavor than the outdoor.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. 10/20/21 - They all look great today. We are moving up to week 2 in the feeding schedule. The plants will hopefully start going big after a few feedings with Grow Big. 10/21/21 - Looking good. The Sour OG is definitely growing and turning back to green. Fed with nutrients and misted all plants. 10/22/21 - They all look great today. It’s obvious they are growing, especially the Platinum Wedding Crasher. We topped them this evening :) 10/23/21 - Looking spot on. Topped a few more plants and took some light blocking leaves off. Fed with nutrients also. 10/24/21 - They all look very perky today. They are growing so fast. We’ll be adding a second ScrOG net for flower in about 3 weeks. 10/25/21 - They all look really good today. Very perky and obviously growing :) In a couple days we’ll be moving to week 3 of nutrients. 10/26/21 - Looking really lush today. Very green and perky. The soil was dry so we finished week 2 of nutrients. On to week 3 tomorrow.

Dirty Aquarium Water: 6.43 pH 381 PPM 73.4⁰F They've gotten both bushier & taller, I needed to create more room in the tent for the clones that I will make seeds from, so I moved the extra clones I'm uncertain of what I'm going to do with it into a makeshift grow area. I'm waiting for temperatures to stay consistently warm outside so I can get these soon to be forced female outdoors to start making feminized seeds.

6/1 topped all of the mains(about 5 or 6). Shes so fucking bushy its crazy. Each main is branching out more and more at each node. Shes gonna be a huge bush by the end of summer. Also attempted to defoliate some of her more crowded areas 6/2 Shes looking super happy after a good feed yesterday. Responded super well to the topping on most of the mains. Slightly concerned its gonna make her even more thick and bushy 6/6 fed some recharge and slf100

Some are swelling , one is smelling very different to the others . I seem to have 6 phenos from small to tall and rounded buds to thin spear shaped buds. I'm not sure which is my favourite yet but one has a very unique smell almost like pineapple and exodus cheese , it could be that one but I also like the bud formation on another,, we will see
