Week 4 update! 🌱 Week 3 is done, and the ladies are now three weeks into their flowering phase. So far, everything has gone really well. However, one bud and the plants in the front showed slight signs of potassium overfertilization, which likely caused a calcium uptake issue and led to minor necrosis. No worries, though – today I completely flushed the entire system and replaced it with a fresh solution. With this reset, everything should be back on track 💪💧. On top of that, I decided to bring out an old Cree& Osram LED lamp as a booster. This will provide the two smaller front plants with more light intensity so they can metabolize the higher nutrient levels more effectively 💡🌿. Everything is looking great so far! Week 6-Day 42 ❤️🇨🇦🌱😎💨 Ladies have been coasting along, haven’t had to do much other than water every 3rd day. I’ve decreased most of N ratio, there is still some in the Cal Mag and Big Bud, and upped the P and K along with the Big Bud. PH has been bang on, I’ve been varying the PH at feeds, and testing the runoff and slurry mix, been a very healthy 6.1-6.4 on the higher end ! Things are getting thicker and hairier in the garden, and with slightly higher RH this week, I’ve been giving them a lot of air flow, seems like the frost on all of them have kicked it up a notch! They’ve got some incredible terps coming off them, I clearly need a secondary carbon filter when growing these types of potent strains, cause my whole house stinks! It seems that whenever the fan is not running, the wafts of skunk and pine are escaping 🤤 it will be another 2-3 weeks, but I’m getting excited 🤗🌲💥 Happy Growing 🇨🇦❤️👊

These girls are exploding like the bomb seeds they are! Always a treat to grow any Bomb seeds in my experiences. I have grown Both Atomic and Widow bomb before and great seeds/genetics and amazing top shelf buds on massive plants. They are really blowing up now there roots are in the water and all 4 have been topped in prep for LST and there screens. I also installed my DIY reservoir cooler and wrapped my buckets in reflective insulation stuff to keep heat out and keep water cool. Will post some results when I test it more...

Dramatic weather here, 2 violent storms have hitted my tent without mayor damages. I've bought a high density polyethylene film from farmer supplier, God blessed for this choice. Strong. But I've made a great mistake on Thursday because I was very busy cropping and curing Royal Gorilla that I've forget to water the sisters. I've watered them on Friday just before I started putting up the tent and the storm started with 90% humidity. It has become a tropical greenhouse, so to avoid mold disasters I drilled some side holes and raised the lower edge. Fortunately, on Saturday my little ones managed to dry themselves well thanks to a little sun and a dry wind. I've learned the lesson. Now that weather is a little bit better but colder I've realised that my plants now love to live under a greenhouse, flowering is accelerating. Saturday check after the storm, bud by bud, revealed to me a single rot spot on minor side branch completely obscured by upper buds and fully soaked by water. I've removed the affected part carefully, no metastases around. Some branches start to bend down by weight, buds are enormous. Now under the greenhouse plant is restarting to flower well, as notorious Special Kush don't like too much sudden changes of temperature. Do not want to repeat mistakes done with Royal Gorilla so the plant will be cropped only when 100% ready, not a minute before, not a minute, I think on Wednesday or Thursday if dry. We are talking about of more than a pound of shit! P. S. need some help from you guys to trim Royal Gorilla, need to smoke less, that shit has no respect! 😁😎

Second week in stretch training a bit more with the net.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. So the second week started and I start with grow technique and try to bend down the main line to give more light for the lower sights may increase the yield and potency. Definetly try to make several main colas and If it will be necessary I will use some ScrOG method too. I will update the second week in the second part of the week with more photos about how they reacting the start of the LST. After the natural grow style this is definetly more work and care but I really enjoy to make work with her. UPDATE #1: Start to give more nutrients. Enchanced root developers, high dose, vitamins, hormones, everything. Bend down her allday-everyday, like every 4-6 hours. I updated some pictures and videos before the week II second part. This next weeks crucial about the LST, so try to maximize the observation and acting fast if it is neccessary. Even cutted down 1-1 fan leaves because they blocked the light way so I think this will also maximize the reach of the light. Definetly exicting.

I didnt pay much attention which plant turned out to be which, so I'm not too sure which plant is depicted on the pictures. They were all harvested within one week of one another. In total including hash, it was about 1.8 kilo dry weed on the scales:) They all tasted differently, but they were all very very tasty. Some were really earthy, others were fruity. Absolutely loved this grow.
