For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Day 10 - 2 inches tall seedling. 3rd set of leaves. 4th set emerging from center. PPM 268 2 mL CalMag 4 mL Micro Grow Bloom B52 Voodoo Tarantula Piranha Rhino Skin Sensizym and Bud Candy. Day 12 - Checked PPM 255. First visible roots sticking out from netpot. Plant is green and happy. Added 2 mL CalMag PPM 300. Day 14 - Checked PPM 268. Raised bucket and plant. Light is 26 inches from top of plant. Adjusted light duration to 20 hours on and 4 hours off. Half a dozen roots sticking out from bottom of netpot. 3rd set of leaves have 5 fingers. I believe this means its no longer a seedling. Now entering VEG.

Welcome in official week 5 of flower 🙏 We are in a cruise control mode now. Removed most of the fan leafs from upper parts of the plants and now it’s just time to wait watch and enjoy. All energy is now focused on developing buds and I really like what I can see. Maybe they are not the biggest plants in my history however they are the most healthy ones. This week we are adding overdrive to feeding chart 👌 EC this week around 1.8 every 56h and 24h pure water pH 5.7 - 5.8 Stay tuned!

3 weeks curing and i think its done now very strong and sweet smell. Really enjoy my first autoFlowering harvest with this strain.

Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.

Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! 2nd ever grow and first time using Fastbuds genetics. I'm running 3x Six Shooter, 2x Pineapple Express and 1x Crystal Meth. I'll be starting diaries shortly for the other 2 strains as I'm hoping that these plants might be good enough to enter in diary of the month competition. I was supposed to be going with 3x Shooter and 3x Pinapple express but unfortunately even though I germinated 4 of each, only 50% of my seeds sprouted. I know theres only 2 six shooter in the photo but a friend of mine has one spare from a batch hes germinated so has kindly given it to me. The Crystal meth was a free gift seed so I'm running that in place of the dud pineapple seed. I've put them in a little 1x1x1 veg box that I built this weekend. Made it to fit alongside my larger tent. Plan for these girls is to veg them in the box for 3 weeks under the cheap 300w LED with plenty of co2 then move them to the bigger tent where I have 4x 315w CMH lamps. All 3 will be topped and if I have space will go under a scrog. They are actually only 4 days old since sprouting but I do all of my diaries on a Sunday as I get chilled early and have time to take photos and do weekly reports. See you guys next week!
