It’s still hot but the heat index remained below 100. Auto Candy had a growth spurt this week doubling her size from all the rain and heat. She is 12.5 inches tall and so far, doesn’t mind the heat and humidity. My little candy girl is becoming a lady. Little white pistils appeared at the nodes. Bring on the flowers. Everything is going swimmingly! The plants are putting on astounding growth, so I’m starting to set up a watering schedule—beginning with 1L per plant every third day. I also sprinkle the topsoil with water now and then to prevent it from becoming hydrophobic. I turned up the light intensity to 400 to 500 PPFD.

Everyone says the plants smell amazing but I can't smell them! fml. They're supposed to smell like guava candy. Just gotta rest up more till my smell is back, honestly the worst thing about covid. Started flush this week, going to flush for 10 days including a 48 hour darkness period. The darkness period is when the buds can reproduce the trichome coating. It's normally used as sunscreen for light protection but much is burned off during intense day times. This is why it's best to harvest after a period of darkness.

Week 8 10-14 Water, both drinking around 750 ml a day! Pretty much just fun with pictures from here. Kosher still seems a bit hungry, but doing awesome! Ztrawberriez is just nasty! Cant seem to get good enough pictures! Lol 10-17 Water and Guy was up to no good! 😻 10-15 Guy stopped in to pose today! 10-19 Flushed both today. I thought they should be low on food, but I over loaded again, I guess. K ppm starting was 1200, now 440 Z 1050 now 310 Sheesh! One day I may Not over feed. 🤣 I even thought 2 tbs was light. 🤣 .

I need to dry the buds in the dark at 19 degrees Celsius and 50% humidity. I hope the effect will be good, The only thing I don't like is that she has too many leaves and I get very tired when trimming the buds, but that's the fault of the strain and genetics and that's how it should be!

I started using Botanicare Hydroguard to take care of the roots and it works great. Got them back healthy. The light leaks to the reservoir have hopefully been resolved as well. The smell coming from the box isn't too strong and will catch you off guard here and there, but not too noticeable. You can also get a good look at the trichomes forming on the buds and leaves.

Harvest is imminent! I'm basically just waiting for her to drink her last watering. So 1-3 days I guess - my last few "finished" plants basically stopped drinking much at the end, and she seems to be the same. But my last post was about a week ago so one more flowering week report! A few days ago I took off some of the brittle taco-ified fan leafs. My guess is they don't do much for photosynthesis anymore and just prevent lower growth from getting light. Upper leafs by now have turned a pretty violet/plum color! I put a leaf from another plant in the picture for comparison.😊 Structurally there is little change since last week. Smell is still incredible too! She is significantly heavier than three weeks ago so the stems are losing the battle against gravity.. but as she's coming down in a few I'm not gonna go wild with jojos or garden wire. 🤷

Filling in the trellis quite nicely the smaller girls seems to be trying so hard to catch up the the larger/bushier one. But they both seem to be doing well!! Sprayed for bugs again to be preventative and added more ladybugs. Expecting a ton of growth in the next week or two for a final stretch but the smell seems to be getting more intense. I can’t wait to see how these girls turn out versus my buddies who I got them from. Seems like there’s always a slight difference. Have fun y’all and happy smoking!!

Hard to believe the pineapple muffins is half way done at this point. The buds look and smell amazing, brush one branch and you instantly smell the pineapple. The gorilla zkittlez is clearly done adding height and is focused on bud production now. She also isn’t nearly as stanky as the muffins but still looks good and healthy. Overall very satisfied so far.

As of day 36, the Blue Dream'Matic is turning into a monster. She's the largest autoflower I've grown at her age, despite sharing my 6sqft tent with another plant. As the growth has been so healthy and the transitioning to flowering nutrients has been smooth, my main concern is how much stretch is going to occur in this early flowering stage. The new nodes that are budding are getting tighter so I'm optimistic about the quality and yield come harvest time. This plant was an absolute dream to. Grow, no issues at all with health of plant, just struggled to tame her as she was a a thick strong climber 💪💪. I'm so impressed with how this turned out, I could have flushed for another 3 days to make it 12days but I needed the space. After The 2 days of dark I was recommended I can definitely say it has vastly boosted her trichomes and the smell when I opened the tent blew my head away 😍😋 Aiming for a 10-14 day hang dry, The 10-12 weeks curing in jars with humidity packs. I will update with a dry bud weight and smoke test 👌 Bud wet weight is just 500g+ Final bud dry weight is 298g. Of juicy resinous purple and orange buds 😍 smells like sherbert and hang dry smoke test revealed a candy sherbert, no banana yet but hoping like the grow it matures with cure process now. Hits eyes straight away, sandy bottom kids, giggles, munchies, fun time with Mrs, bed. To think I thought she was stunted! Doing really well this week, temps are skyrocketing where I’m at and will remain high this week. We had a lot of rain earlier this week, which seems to have helped her, but also brought some fungus gnats around. I’ve been using yellow traps + am going to let this heat finish drying out the top layer of soil.
