Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the Red Poison & Purple Lemonade in my other diaries 😱 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Dark Devil Auto is otherwise healthy and starting show hints of colour in the stems 😈 I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. It already has a solid skunky/hash plant smell on the fingers after adjusting them and it looks like it might actually be a tripod mute with three flower sites per node. Hopefully I can stretch it out and take advantage of the extra bud potential 🙏 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Flowering is now obvious. We are in first week of july, so hopefully I will get very nice buds in september already!😛I really like this express plant!

10-weeks of flowering, let hang dried for 7days, then into C-Valet containers @ 62% Rh for 6 weeks.

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

On average flowering technically truly begins 7 days after 12/12 switch...i waite 7 days because plants dont instantly Flower right at 12/12 switch most take 4-8 days to start actually flowering...it takes time for the hormones to be triggered and start taking effect, so i waite 7 days an consider that the transition period...i suggest waiting on any bloom boosters until after the transition period..also ((Brut worm casting and natures living soil is mixed into soil at listed rates not mixed into water water, all other nutrients are mixed with distilled water.))

Well, well, here we are at week 4 and doing my best to keep up with this diary. I truly enough it but I'm also a blessed dad with lots of kids. But the plant is looking very well and will have photos, and even another video coming along with this week.

Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! Hola , en este cultivo de sugar black rose que es la primera vez que la cultivó quede muy contento con todo el desarrollo que llevó a cabo la planta, desde un inicio del cultivo se desarrollaron de buena manera , muy vigorosas y resistente a los estrés que pudieron vivir dentro del cultivo como temperaturas un poco más elevada durante el día además de una muy buena resistencia también a la escasez de agua . Su Olor es maravilloso en floración un olor dulces muy llamativo y toques a gasolina senti. En las ultimas semanas de floracion tomaron un color morado muy bello dejando la planta hermosa visualmente y un olor fantástico. estas niñas fueron cortadas el 23 de febrero , fueron secadas cerca de 20 días y posterior a eso pasaron a frasco para su curado . he probado las flores secas y la verdad es que el toque dulce es muy marcado al fumar muy rica variedad que sin duda la cultivare nuevamente para buscar los mejores sabores y conservar algunos clones ya que esta vez no realice seleccion de ninguna.-
