Week 2 F D1 Another week down for my lemon ICE and everything goes well . Defoliated her one more time today since she was getting a bit bushy again and I want the lights to reach the lower parts of her ! I haven't overdone that keeping more than half of her leaves on. I think I could go a bit harder but its okey ... I find defoliation a really interesting technique for indoor gardening since plants are disease and pest free compared to outdoors. I will defoliate her one more time at the end of week 3 Cant wait for the next two weeks !! D5 Lemon ICE growing massive and those bud sites are getting taller every day! She's going super fast into flowering and more and more pistils are showing up every day Lushy deep green leaves and I really have nothing bad to say about her . Transplanted two more of these blueberry autos into 5gal buckets. Did some training on one and am going to leave the rest. I took that video yesterday check out the REBOUND one day later, clearly NO transplant stress whatsoever!

First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Esta semana aplique delta 9 de manera folear, 2 ml por cada planta y un litro de agua, se recuperaron un poco de la defoliación.

UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE 56g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently between 63-68%RH inside. Burping every other hour for couple of minutes. While trimming some dried buds yesterday, I came across a seed, I couldn't believe it, between 😕and 😆, first time experiencing this, interesting, hopefully she didn't lose a lot of her potency and it only happened late. Learning from this: don't change light cycle. I changed from 18 to 21 hours, thought that was a good idea... All this aside, I am sooooooo in LOVE WITH HER 😍I have never grown such a beautiful plant, excuse the photo spam, she deserves a stage, at least for me 😉I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏 Tried 2 different drying methods: 1. Regular hang dry: For 7 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was almost too dry after 7 days. 2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 7 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 68% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils. More details: 16. Nov. 2019 - 13. Feb. 2020 - 88 Days - Grown from Seed Smell of Berries; Pink & Yellow tips; Lots of long curly brown hair; Pink tiny leaf tips on top of buds. I’m in love whooooooooooaaaaaaa. Chop on 13. Feb 2020 - 461g Put in vase with PH water for 2 days in Dry Tent darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F 14. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 1 - 469g 15. Feb. 2020 Darkness Day 2 - 452g Total wet - no trim - 452g Total wet - slight trim - 386g //Regular dry in tent - 50% humidity & 20°C/68F // 281g with trim went in Total dry - no trim - 43g Total dry - trim - 40g //Low and slow dry in fridge // 96g went in Total dry - trim - 16g Check 420magazine for “Low and Slow”-Dry. Last two weeks have gone well for her. She will be unleashed finally in the next couple weeks if weather permits! I can only imagine what she is going to do once her roots can spread. I predict a massive size increase once she is put into the ground. I know she will have to be supported after about a month outside so it will grow without problems. Don't want her to snap her own branches because of awkward wait placement or because her buds become too heavy. Plants definitely produce better when they have supports for the buds/ branches. Allows them to stack on bud instead of putting energy towards holding itself up. Until next time happy growing to everyone!

On day 10, I transferred the buds to the HerbDryer since I needed to free up space in the drying cabinet for two other plants. When I made the switch, I did a light trim, and I finished the final trim when I placed them in jars for curing. As for the smell, it’s definitely strong and noticeable. You can clearly pick up berry and herbal aromas. After curing, the smoke quality and smell will improved . In terms of yield, it was a bit below expectations—only 36g dry. The top buds have good density, but the lower buds are quite airy and loose. That being said, I wasn’t expecting a big yield anyway, especially since it only had 12 hours of light during flowering. When you open the bag, the aroma spreads quickly, and it's easy to tell that you've been handling it. After smoking, your room will smell great, but not overwhelmingly so—it fades after a little while, hahaha! Overall, I’m satisfied for now… Now it’s just a matter of waiting for a better cure to enjoy it at its fullest! 🔥🌿
