Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 179 grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! 5/14 Watered today. I almost held off as it seemed there was a LITTLE moisture in the soil of the gmos. The bigger one was drier. I weighed dry soil and compared that's when I decided to water. Seeing how today is I think the fourth day since I watered I used less water. Since I' not feeding nutes yet (plenty in the soil) I'm not watering to runoff. 2 Gatorade bottles total this time. I want those roots filling the pot. I have burns on the event horizons. I think it was from the light leak. The toasted toffy seems exploding. I hope they don't get to rootbound in the 1 gallon. I think it was a good decision for the 1 gallon rather than the 3s. 5/15 Yeah they definitely liked that water. Especially the event horizons. Old burns don't heal but the are coming out of reveg and growing with a fury! The gmos are as healthy as I coupd ask. I almost topped the last gmo one (or fimmed) but it was trained before I got it and bottom branches are level with the top. The gmo I fimmed has at least four new tops growing fast. I think I'll pick up my soil tomorrow. Grow bags are ready but I need to clean up the cage and wait until the time I'd right. If I had the time I would've brought the girls outside today 5/16 Plants look amazing. It got to 80 yea6erday but the girls were inbthat nice cool room. It's getting close to the time I'm going outside and I'm getting excited! 5/17 Same. Plants still going like crazy souls still moist. 5/18 wow these l.e.d lights don't dry out the soil like an hps. Watered on the 14th and plants still look like they're happy and there is still moisture in the soil. I'll monitor and either water later today or more likely in the morning. There wasn't much if any moisture in the soil and that was only a couple plants. I WATERED TODAY AND USED APPROXIMATELY 2 AND a 1/2 GATORADE BOTTLES TOTAL. I went with my intuition and it told me they were thirsty. They were certainly light. At least I don't have to worry about overwatering. I'll grab my soil tomm and clean my grow bags. These clones are exploding in growth and leaf production. I can't wait to see how they do outside. 5/19 Seedlings are jumping right along and need transplant. I'm almost positive they are autos so I shouod plan to transplant just once. I'm planning to buy my soil tomorrow and get other odds and ends taken care of. The girls are doing great! They def enjoyed the water. Im glad I went with my intuition. Some pics wouldn't upload. Oh well. 5/20 Today is supposwd to be in the 80s. Plants AND seedlings are doing great. I think I'll grab my soil today. I'll update later. UPDATE: I BOUGHT 3 3CF 707 3 3CU FFOF AND 3 2CF HAPPY FR0G AND I HAVE A BAG OF 707 AT HOME. CAGE IS ALMOST READY. BAGS NEED TO BE SOAKED AND CLEANED AND PLANTS NEED TO START GETTING HARDENED OFF. ITS HARD TO DO ALL THIS IN THE MIDDLE OF MOVING WITH A SICK WIFE BUT WE DO WHAT WE HAVE TO.

Nice little stretch, did a bit of a defloiation to help with airflow and light penetration but I like to leave as many leaves on the plant as possible because the plant will use those leaves as batteries when it comes to mid to late flower. And its all about the microbes! Just been giving microbe bombs every week, once a week.

This grow is stretching out a Lot longer than I anticipated,,, but goes to show that good things take good time ,,and this girl doesn’t want to leave any stones unturned,,packing it on top to bottom,,,😉😁🙏💚💚💚🇦🇺

shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking

Every video and picture were taken on the same day (113/ week 16). If you look at the bottom branches and colas, the pistils are nearly finished and there aren't many clear pistils left. I have attached microscope photos as well. It is important to check many sites on the plant, as only checking one or two colas may be deceiving as to if the plant is ready to harvest or not. I have taken the lower branch and chopped it about two days ago and will sample it in a few days. I'm excited for this plant to be done soon.

I’m curious to see what happens if I grow a Cream Cookies in this bonsai pot. This pot has been the house of my old Ficus Retusa that unexpectedly died this winter. RIP 🙏 I don’t know the capacity, but I’ll take some measures. I’ll be growing this baby indoor for the first weeks, and mainly outdoor for the flowering period. I think I’ll top her once so I’ll be able to spread every branch around to make her flatter. Day 63 - lookin good.... haha.... um, tanks stabilized, ph 5.8 - ppm 1200 .... she's feedin alot..... buds are fillin and lotsa white furries.... listed the nutes and amounts etc.., but i'm kinda feeding her as she needs.... so every few days she is drinking 2 lts +- and i'm just mixing up a neut solution in a 2 lt bottle every day or 2 ..... sometimes she just wants abit of water...... Day 64 +vid....shows her deep green and gloss... abit of crystalic :) Day 65 - vids pics.... trimmed her, and abit of bending.... Added blood and bone.... she's stretching alot, 60cm+ ........ Day 67 took all the early buds on all the stringy 0ff shoots.... Poor lighting vids, but don't want to mess with her flowering, :) 👍😎👊

Another week closer.... I know I said it before but these girls have been a pleasure to grow...they are 23 days into budding and pushing out like crazy blowing up and stacking up..going to be some full girls. Nothing to really say everything is dialed in perfect, this week it was very hot out so my room got a little hotter... but no big deal the girls really didn't mind... I had 8 seeds in a pill bottle that had been kicking around for a couple years. So I decided to see if any were good. I picked one good looking seed and sprouted it in April. As it grew I noticed that it looked like it wanted to start flowering early on. Being a new grower I didn’t even think it was an Auto. So I cut off the buds and tried to get it to veg. It stopped growing for awhile but didn’t die. So I started two more of the viable seeds I had. Once they were transplanted to one gallon pots I moved them to my greenhouse. The second one looked like it wanted to flower early also. I transferred the three to 5 gallon pots. It was then I realized I had auto unknown seeds. Because I didn’t know the names I decided to call them COVID unknown #1, #2, and #3. Or CU1,CU2,CU3. The first plant got really messed up but still produced 7 grams. The other two combined pulled in 2 ounces. Not to bad for 3 old unknown seeds!
