Starting to get heavy in here. Starting to fatten up like crazy putting on some more colors. They all have their own sweet smell with something in background but way sweet. Just doing build a bloom and molasses 1 time this week mollases is almost every watering. Just popping off leafs when dead and make sure Noone falls over lol.

5.12. - Entering final week before harvest. One plant was flushed last week and other two will be flushed this week. Already seeing some amber trichomes on two of the plants. 6.12. - Flushed the other two plants and watered the one already flushed. Amber trichomes are more present each day and one of the plants is just a few days from harvesting. 10.12. - Today is the last day with light. I'll give them about 3 days of darkness and then proceed to harvest. 11.12. - First day of darkness. They look amazing with the flash, smell is very nice. 5.12. - 11.12.2023

20.06 25. Day 30 Took some leaves off lower part of plant. Used plant training clips to bend branches in effort to LST. I will update tomorrow. One love 🏼

Laughing Buddha is a long growing plant but will reward well, true to form, smells incredible, very sticky, neurtured from seed, low humidity - worked very well.

Day 64 ( 31 of 12/12 ) So a good week in the grow room , Been sorting out some life issues so havnt been online as much as i wanted, The girls are looking fantastic , Mills c4 has been upped to 1ml and as there all nice and green. i didn't up mills A+B like there chart suggests as if anything there a little too green , Ph at every feed has been 5.7 & end run off is 6.1 . As we are into the full swing of flower i can see we have x3 different pheno types im sure , Plant number 5 is VERY strong incida in shape and appearance And looks like it will finish way ahead of the rest so far , it already had VERY tight internodes and is shaping up to had HUGE buds . Plants 3 - 6 & 4 are looking the most sativa and there buds look furthest from finish , (EC : 1.6) 1 & 2 look epic and lots like the lots like the images on the dinafem site so far , and are growing fat

Surf Purp Week 6 Flower The last week before flush. All nutrients apart from PK and sugars have been stopped. This brought the ppm/EC down, plus Remo Bloom was reduced slightly now they're not so hungry. With that being said I'm still using a lot more with this line than I'm used to. Only because the remo nutrients feeding chart lists them so strong, which I'm already a lot lower than. In future I'll try reducing them and see how they cope and perform, but that's just part of dialing it in to your own specific set up. Now that they're close to flush they're starting to get slightly more pale, with #2 and #4 showing some purpling too. This is because they are slowly coming to the end of their cycle, so they no longer need heavy feedings and are now eating less and beginning to cannibilise. They're all very frosty and giving off an insane amount of smell. At this point I'm more or less certain that #4 is a keeper, with the most unique terpene profile out of the 4 females. It smells like rotting candy/fruit with a lot of gas ⛽ it's also a close call between #1&2, as they're very similar to each other yet so different to #4. These two have the sweetest, most pungent smell of blueberries but with very slight differences between them that could change more throughout flush (and even after drying and curing). The keeper from these two will more than likely be decided after drying and curing. One or two of the main cola's on #4 are way too close to the light, with one top bud showing clear signs of burning. When you look closely, parts of the burns are brown as you would expect, and others are bleached white. These are both from heat and light damage, and aren't ideal. But, it's only the one bud on one plant so I'm not going to stress over it. In fact, she's smelling that incredible that you wouldn't even know! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

Summing up, I can say that sativa is really not mine.The next diary will be related to breeding, I will test and gain experience in this matter.Further more, success is inevitable.

Crystal coming on Number 2. This one is going to be small. Oz - 2. No amber trichs yet. All milky. And lots of them. This should be pretty good smoke. This one is close to harvest judging by the black purple and pink leaves she is growing. Pictures really don't do it justice. Number 1 flowers are just starting to brown up the hairs. This one looks like it should yield around 4ozs. A really pretty plant. Lots of premature trichs. The mutant. This one is now a super mutant. Buds bigger around than my fist in some places. Some buds are 50 cms long! I'm amazed. This is my first grow and wow! I only expected this after lots of practice. There's no telling what this one will yield as it's STILL shooting up colas! COVERED in long white hair. I'm feeding so much calmag and pk on top of her regular feeding just to keep her green. This beast is ALWAYS hungry. Because she is producing soooo much! As is on the plant, if it stopped growing right this second there's 5 Oz dry there. There's nearly zero smell. I selected this strain for low smell, but was over prepared for bad/overpowering household scents (that's a good thing!). It smells fresh, nothing like what you would expect from those literal trees that have grown in a couple of months. If you rub the plant, it's so sticky and then you smell piney lemons, but you could really grow this next to a drug dog and Rover wouldn't have a clue. This is turning out to be a fantastic experience after all the ups and downs over the last 3 months.

02/08 - Day 36 Girls are definitely pushing out budding sites all around. (A) & (D) are still stretching a great deal while (B) & (C) have seemed to slow down. Still feeding microbes and started using the Girl Flower Power as a tea. 02/11 - Day 39 Not too much to say. More and more pistils are pushing out and I have my light as high as it can go. Moved the two taller girls to the sides. 02/14 - Day 42 Went on vacation for the weekend and thankfully the stretch has stop because I’m out of head room! All the ladies seem to be doing well, although I'm not sure if my older bigger fan leaves should already be yellowing. Hopefully it’s just the progression of the strain and just cannibalizing the older leaves.

Week 5 Veg Report: Croco Mutants A Quick Recap: The journey with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco girls has been a ride full of unique beauty and challenges. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Lens Flexibility: With interchangeable lenses, I can adjust for macro shots, wide angles, or depth of field, something even the best phone cameras can’t fully replicate. Empezamos la semana cambiando los nutrientes al observar ya unos pequeños pistilos o estigmas , en definitiva, empezaron a mostrar tímidamente el sexo. Empiezo con poco y iré subiendo la dosis hasta 4ml/L hasta que vuelva a cambiar de nutrientes. Creo observar del Lumatek ATSpro que le fataria un punto de luz en el centro del panel. Por lo general con otras luminarias la planta del medio me solia crecer mucho mejor y esta vez está quedando retrasada. Seguiré cultivando y si me sigue pasando lo mismo entonces no tendré ninguna duda, por ahora solo son conjeturas, xd De lo anterior rectifico , tengo que decir que pasados dos dias lo estoy viendo diferente, la del medio parece que sigue por buen camino, ahora apenas notaria la diferencia. La semana anterior, la sexta, se les hizo una segunda pulverización con dosis alta de 3ml/L con spiderbloom ( "fitofortificante de impacto muy rápido") pero de nada sirvió, durante esta semana subió la temperatura a 30ºC un par de dias y las arañas salieron a pegarse el gran festín. Una vez constatada la existencia de araña roja correteando por el envés de las hojas solo toca desinfectar bién el armario, lavarlas a todas una a una con agua corriente para arrastrar el máximo de arañitas y una vez secas darles con algun acaricida químico. De no hacerlo ahora me seria imposible más adelante y no tengo ningunas ganas de dejar perder este cultivo. No soy partidario de lo químico pero menos de dejarlas perder.

Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

Close to harvest now. Some pistils are still white and I cannot see any amber trichomes yet. Clean water flushing.
